Story: In the year 2301 all of humanity, with the exception of a few survivors, disappeared. When the humans first sought to find out what happened to some of their relitives in the hospital, since they came out very sickly. The sick humans in the hospital were directed with a new disese, which was found very contagious. They called it 'Mortis volunt' or 'the death wish', fore it killed on contact. It soon spread from a few of the population to nearly all the population until it was so bad that the air was strong with the stench of the disese.
Plot: Nobody knows where they are, except for somewhere in the state of Arkansas. Two siblings are trying to gather all the remaining survivors and bring them to the 'Refuge' they've created. The undead are still trying to track down the remaining wandering creatures, this includes horses, dogs, cats, birds, and humans. Ruble only covers the ground now, blood stains grass and buildings, everything new is never seen ever again.

3. Gore and romance is accepted and encouraged! Drama is what Mortis Volunt is all about!
4. If your character gets killed, meleed, ect. you have the right to make another. As long as you make the form for the character.
5. No god-moding, power-playing, gary/mary sue-ing, insta-killing, ect. Now, if it's like bashing somebody's head against something and damage their brain cavity, that's something else. Not insta-killing.
6. Please, don't leave just because someone's on your nerves. You have a problem with someone either take it to a PM or talk to me, I'll settle it out.

Role-Play Sample: Kasimira yawned as she walked down the open highway somewhere in Arkansas, her mask was beginning to bother her but she knew she should leave it on. From behind her she heard a crack of a small stick, she immediately spun around her bow drawn, and looked she released the arrow and hit the creature right between the eyes. She smirked and walked over to the body, patting it down looking for anything useful. Finding nothing but some spare change she put her foot onto it's cranium and retrieved her arrow, she growled as brain matter splattered onto her leather boots. "Dammit! I just cleaned these." After cleansing the bow with an old rag she put it back in it's quiver and continued on her way.
Extra: Kasimira is dressed in black leather, from head to toe "It makes washing off the blood and other gunk a -Removed by Moderator- easier."

"Mommy?! Daddy?!" A little girl screamed as she ran to her parents' room. "We're fine, we've just got the sniffles. Koilana, I want you to be a brave little girl and suck it up." A male's voice came, muffled, from behind the door. "But," She was crying a river. "Daddy! I don't want you to die!" A chuckle came from the room. "Mommy and Daddy are not going to die. We're just sick." "Promise?" She sniffled. "I promise.""Koilana! Get back from that door!" A harsh voice snapped. "But Daddy--" "'But Daddy' nothing! Be quiet, and stay away from the door! Marcous is going to fix it." An older girl looked down at the six year old. "O-o-ok." "Let's go downstairs," She told her sister. "This way he can work alone. And... And, take care of M-M-Mommy and Daddy." She felt as if she were choking on glass.
The two sisters went downstairs, sitting on the couch. An older boy came in carrying an ax. Koilana looked back. "No," The older girl whispered, pulling the little girl's face to her own. Then rubbed noses. "Everything's going," She paused, hearing screams from upstairs. "to be fine." A single tear went down the older girl's face. "Everything's already fine."
The older boy opened the door, his dark hair in his face, and raised his ax. He looked as if he were already mourning the death of his parents. The ax glinted in the window's reflection, showing the pale couple in bed. The boy's mother wasn't breathing, but still... Kinda blinked. He went to the bedframe and lowered his ax to his father's neck. Cutting the head off, squarely. A couple innereds squabbled on the the ground. The body of the being fell back, and he moved on the other side of the bed. He raised his ax and waited. His hair was out of his face, revealing his brown eyes and scattered freckles. The mother slowly came out of bed and came closer to her son. Her eyes opened widely. She lunged forward, aiming for his neck. But slowly missed as he left his ax in her skull.

Kasimira yawned as she sat up in her bed, she looked at the clock, 11:35am. She stood up and dragged her self to the bathroom to shower, after grooming herself she proceeded onto doing he makeup and hair. She left the bathroom and bounded down the stairs "Mom! Dad!" she called, after getting no response she called out again "Mom? Daddy?" she rushed around the house not seeing any sign of them. "Oh! I should check the message machine." She ran to the phone and saw she had two unheard messages. 'Message one, left at 7 o'clock am; "Hello, this is Susie with Central Arkansas Hospital. I'm just calling to tell you Mr. Kell and Mrs. Kell were admitted into our emergency room at around 6 o'clock am. They told us to call and let their daughter know that they are fine and okay. Please call if you have any questions or concerns." End of Message one. Message two, left at 9 o'clock am; "Sweetie? It's your mother please get out of the city now! The whole hospital has gone insane. -sobbing- your father is dead-screaming in background- Baby, please please leave now. Whatever you do don't come to the hospital!"-cutoff- End of Message two.' Kasimira fell to her knees and became crying, she didn't know what to do, her father was dead and her mother might be also. She felt a slight nudge on her right leg and looked down to see her kitten, Jynx. She scooped up the kitten and held her close to her chest, never wanting to let go again. She heard her t.v flick into life with a breaking news story on the screen 'Breaking news; "Hello Amy here and we have a serious problem at the Central Arkansas hospital. Today the hospital has received many patients with an unknown virus, we have no name for it yet but hopefully we have the problem resolved. We believe it is airborne and highly contagious, we advise protective gloves and mask for anyone seeing this.-woman then listens to the voice coming from her earpiece- Oh my gosh...-looks at camera man- We gotta go. Now!"-the woman and camera man leave the screen then static- Kasimira was frozen, what just happened? She didn't know, she jumped up and ran to the kitchen and threw on some gloves and a doctor like mask and ran out to the garage. She pried open the old rickety garage door and ran in to grab her dad's compound bow and small pistol, she always wondered why he kept these so far away from him. She then ran inside and locked up the house before rummaging through their kitchen, packing up whatever her a Jynx might need. After gathering her belongings she threw everything into the family SUV, she went inside and grabbed Jynx and put her on the passenger seat. "Ready to go Jynx?" The kitten mewed and Kasimira grinned. She was about to put the car into gear but she thought of something "Where are we going exactly?"

"Marcous, where do we go now?" The older girl cocked her head. "Without Mom and Dad, we've got nowhere to live." "Let's see what's on T.V. I don't want to talk about this anymore." He answered. "Can I go upstairs and pack?" "No. Agus, keep Koilana here. I'll pack for you guys." He picked up the remote and turned on the T.V. Then left the room. Spongebob was on, the T.V. was a bit fuzzy, but it was always like that. Koilana laughed at every part the older girl thought that was stupid. After two or three episodes, Marcous came downstairs with three bags in his arms. He started humming a song that sounded familier to Agus. He shrugged to the door. Agus picked up Koilana and opened the door. Some odd stench filled her nose. It wasn't so bad, but it made Koilana plug up her nose. The three siblings hopped into the car and Marcous tried to turn on the car.
The battery was dead.
"Dammit!" "Watch your mouth!" She watched as Marcous got out of the car and got some jumper cables. He pulled up the hood and did something that Agus couldn't see. "Will you hurry up?!" SHe called out the window." Some people were limping around the streets. Some wearing hospitalized gowns others in casual clothes or bathrobes. They were pale with some scratches on them. After the car was able to start, Marcous threw the cables in the back. And started the engine again. It ran. "Listen to her purr." "Will you shut up?" They drove off, not saying a word. Her brother ran into some people along the way, but she watched them get but up. Some.

Kasimira didn't know where to go, who to call, or what to do, in rage she slammed her palms against the steering wheel and cried softly. She could hear the mews from Jynx, she looked over at her and rubbed the kitten's head then smiled through her tears. Kasimira looked up and saw that there were people limping through the street, covered in blood.. Kasimira jumped from her car and ran to a elderly woman who was wearing a hospital gown, she hesitated for a second, her brain telling her to go back but it was too late the words had already escaped her lips "Hello! Miss? Can you tell me whats going on?" The woman looked at her with bloodshot eyes, Kasi looked at her confused. Suddenly the woman lashed out at her, Kasi let out a blood-curdling scream as she was pushed to the ground "Someone! Help!" She screamed as she fumbled for her pistol but saw that it was out of reach. She didn't know how long she would be able to hold the woman back for but she knew she better figure out something fast.

"Marcous, did you hear that?" Koilana whined. Even Agus heard it. Marcous sped up and turned a corner, only to see more of the people. A normal looking young woman was being attacked by another person. "Stay here, be quiet, and listen. Be nice." Agus saw fear in her brother's eyes, but could only nod. She watched as he grabbed his gun. A Desert Eagle. He walked a little closer, and saw the elderly lady's head. Before he shot, Agus saw something. Something she'd never seen in her brother. A loud gunshot lay overhead in the sky. Agus' eyes were wide with fear. The old lady had a bullet through her head. Her brother was stiff.
"Did you get bitten? Are you ok?" He asked, lowering his gun. He crouched down beside her and only saw minor scratches in her clothes. Hardly any real damage to her flesh. He looked back to the red Sudan, seeing his sisters. Then looked back at the girl on the ground. "Who's dead in your family?"

Kasimira's eyes widened in shock as some of the woman's brain splattered onto the driveway. She rolled back and grabbed her pistol and aimed at the boy, her hands shaking rapidly, her heart beat began to quicken as she as prepared to pull the trigger. But a thought popped into her head, He did just save me. Kasi lowered her pistol and stood up, putting the weapon back in it's place at her waist. She looked back at the sickened woman, her skull ripped open by a bullet, her brain matter on her driveway.. She shuddered and began to rub her arms, her blue eyes flickered over to the boy "Y-Yeah I think so.." Her eyes seemed to trail back to the dead woman then she saw another gowned foe walking behind the boy she quickly pulled out her pistol and aimed at the oncoming foe. She closed her eyes for about a second before re-opening them and taking in a deep breath, then she pulled the trigger. The bullet whizzed past the boy's head and hit it's mark, the man's skull. Kasi held her gun in the firing position for a moment before putting it back, "Who's dead in your family?" Thoughts were flying through her head, she looked down "They all are." She still didn't know about her two younger brothers but she suspected they shared the same fate as their mother and father. She wiped the sweat off her forehead Oh gosh! All this sweat might make my makeup run! Then I'll look like one of those...things. She groaned as she wiped away the running eyeliner and mascara, "Whatever." she growled as she leaned up against her SUV. Another though dashed through her head Bitten? What does he mean? All these questions were starting to give her a headache.
"Where's your family?" She looked at the girls in the car and suspected they were his sisters, but she could be wrong. But if those are his sister's...are his parents... She began to rub her arms again as she looked down "Never mind, don't answer that.." She could hear Jynx in the car, Kasi jumped to the car window and scooped her up and brought her out to try to get her to go to the bathroom before their journey to who knows where.

A bullet went past Marcous making him freak out a small bit. After a couple breaths he calmed down enough to say, "My two sisters are in the car, I had to kill my parents." He said, looking at the ground. He could hear moaning in the background, making his head swivel around. More creatures were coming. A lot more. "Damn. We should go somewhere safer. Hop in." He commanded. He went around and opened the car, smacking a creature in the face. And before the creatures touched him, he slammed his door. He made sure that he crushed some fingers. "Agus, in the back." He told his sister. She shook her head, until he unbuckled her and picked her up. She was placed in a children's booster seat. "Stay."

Kasimira nodded her head understandably, she looked behind him and saw that more of those things were coming. She grabbed Jynx and ran to her SUV to grab her belongings and bow, she spun around and saw that they were coming closer she groaned and took aim at one's head and sent a bullet flying through it, sending blood flying into the other's face. She was still popping rounds until her gun started to make that unforgettable aggravating clicking noise "-Removed by Moderator-." seeing an opening she ran to his car and jumped in slamming the door behind her. She wiped the sweat from her forehead and looked in the backseat and saw two girls, she smiled at them and handed Jynx to them "Here, she need's some love right now." She rubbed Jynx behind the ear then faced forward "Where to?" waiting for a response she dug around in her bag for some candy bars, she pulled out two candy bars and handed one to both of the girls "Here, I'm not a fan of chocolate." She yawned and pulled out her quiver and counted how many arrows she had "..1..2..3..4..5.." she counted all till she go to the last one "..16.." She then went into her smaller bag and loaded her pistol, she grabbed one single bullet and tucked into her pants pocket, save that one for myself, then she grabbed one last one, and for Jynx too. She looked out the window and saw all the helpless people and infected and felt her eyes tear up, she sighed as she saw the hospital "Goodbye mom and dad.." She whispered.

Marcous
Marcous floored the gas pedal, the sun blinding him. He blinked it out, planning of what to do. We should go to Arizona. Or, Chicago. Or even Texas... Wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. First, food. Then, place to stay for now. Lastly, moving time. Yes. We need an area the has at least a brick structure, or a fence. Plus some wooden boards. Just something. Including candles, new weapons, and flashlights. And duck tape. Lots and lots of duck tape. He thought. Ignoring the road for a minute, he didn't see he was about to crash off of a broken bridge. "Marcous, watch the road!" Agus' voice broke his thoughts. He swirled the car around, seeing a large horde of creatures. "Holy -Removed by Moderator-," He muttered under his breath. "Hold on to something." He slammed his foot on the gas pedal, running over bodies repeatedly. After a while, the creatures died down a bit, and Marcous thought it would be a great time for finding a place to stop. He parked by a police station, and hopped out. A "Stay here." followed him. He ran to the doors and giggled them, they were locked. He called the girls over, after he found a fenced area. He waited for the girls.

Agus
After Koilana and Agus were handed chocolate bars, they were gone as fast as they were given. But, Agus put hers in a satchel she always carried. Before she could remember anything, after she blacked out, she yelled "Marcous, watch the road!" right before her brother crashed. She was thankful too. She came close to her little sister and started humming a lullaby to lull her to sleep. It worked. Within seconds, she was restfully asleep. Luckily, she fell asleep before Marcous turned the car around and started hitting the awful creatures. She left her iPod on repeat, playing "Home" over and over again. After about two hours of hiding, the things settled down. They drove around a bit, only stopping at one place. The police station in town. Her father used to work here. Marcous told them to stay, and they did, until he called them over. He was waiting. She opened her sister's door, and woke her, and ran to Marcous, and climbed over the fence. She was holding her skirt to her legs, just incase some pervy creature wanted to see her underwear. Instead of climbing her way down, she hopped off the fence. She called over Koilana and Marcous helped her over.

Kasimira jumped in surprise as the car began to buck running over the bodies of then infected. As the car came to s atop she rubbed her head "Ow." her headache wasn't going away she looked back at the girls "You okay.?" She was surprised as Jynx jumped at her chest and latched on to her sweater "Whoa!" She laughed a little and faced forward watching the boy exit the car. She looked at the windshield, it was cracked and bloodied, she shuddered a little before exiting the car, ignoring the boy's command, she figured he wasn't directing it to her anyways. She crouched down and scooped up her belongings and sighed "I think I'm going to head out. Thanks for the lift." She stretched her legs and swung her bow and quiver over each shoulder, she didn't want to be in the way. She looked back and sighed, maybe I'll stay just tonight, she looked at the sun, it'll be dark soon anyways. "On the second thought, I'll stay for the night." she walked back and was greeted by a fence. She threw her things over and tucked Jynx into her coat and as swift as a cat climbed over the fence and landed on the other side quietly. She looked at her bow then at the area in front of her, in the distance she saw an old building "Stay." she said, to her it sounded like a command but she wasn't the commanding type. She took her bow and loaded an arrow into it and cautiously walked forward looking for any of those things. Every step she took made a crunching sound, crunch, crunch, crunch, she could faintly hear another set of footsteps and drew her bow, ready to fire. She turned the corner and saw a dog, she dropped her bow and whistled to the dog, but something was wrong. The dog looked at her with milky eyes, it's skin was covered in blood and scratches, blood and drool were dripping from it's maw,"Oh my gosh, what happened to you?" then it let out a low growl as it began to walk towards her. She raised her bow and fired, hitting it in the head, the dog let out a loud yelp before falling to the ground. Kasi had always loved animals, but she knew this wasn't a normal dog anymore. She walked up to it and rubbed it's side with her gloved hand "Sorry, boy." before retrieving her bow from it's head. She wiped the arrow clean and put it back in it's quiver, she went to the front of the small building and attempted to open it, locked. "Damn. Well only one thing to do." She put her bow over he shoulder and prepared herself to kick the door, okay remember what dad taught you. the thought of her father almost made a tear drop down her face, but it didn't.
She took aim with the bottom of her foot and kicked the door, the door responded with a loud bang but it didn't open "One more should do it." She backed up a few feet and ran towards the door giving it a hard kick, the door slammed open, she rubbed her hands together "That was fun." she smirked. She drew her bow and quietly walked into the building, it was only a one room building with two small windows "Well nothing in here. Okay it's safe to come in." she called to the others before setting her stuff down. She pulled out a small pink yarned blanket and folded it neatly and layed it in the corner of the room and set Jynx on it "There ya go girly." She kept her bow and quiver swung over her shoulder and went outside to find a way onto the roof. Seeing a large garbage bin she pulled it over to the small cement building and jumped on it then swung her body onto the roof "I'll stay up here, keep an eye on Jynx please." She sat cross legged on the rocky roof with her bow in her lap.

Marcous kicked the door in front of him. Nothing could break in or out. Whimpering and barking filled the place. What if this stuff is airborne? What if it reached the animals? A loud gunshot told him, 'Probably.' He went into the back, and found the locked weaponry. He kicked it, his large hiking boots putting enough pressure on it to open. Once it did, he grabbed a couple Desert Eagle bullets, and went to the back. Finding the kennels, he saw that only one dog was whining. The rest were vicious with milky eyes. He held out his pistol and began shooting the infected dogs. Only one looked normal, and that one was the one who was scared. He looked at the name plaque on the cage. Hermes. "Here boy. Hermes, come here." The dog bowed it's head and ducked it's tail. Hermes listened and came. "It's ok boy." He began stroking the black Dutch Shepherd. He was filthy. The dog looked sweet, and was. He went to a benched area in the lobby, the doors were boarded with wooden planks.

Kasi could hear the yelps of other dogs as they were shot down "Hey! Stop making so much noise!. Those things will come here." she huffed. She stood up and saw an infected coming towards the fence she felt no more sympathy for these creatures, it was almost strange to her, earlier it seemed the thought of killing them would shatter her heart. She drew her bow and shot it straight through it's skull, she smirked and jumped from the roof and went looking for the boy, she never got his name. She walked through the compound like place, she knew she was in the right place when she saw the dead canines, she sighed and continued looking for him. She came to a lobby and saw him standing there with a dutch shepherd, she tilted her head and had her hand on her pistol, just in case, she though to herself. "Hey. I just wanted to say thanks for helping me back there." She began to rock from side to side nervously "I didn't catch your name, I'm Kasimira, but just call me Kasi." She held out her hand, she was never good at talking to people especially boys. She immediately pulled her hand back, what if my hand is clammy. She put her hands behind her back and scratched her foot on the tile, she was surprised when the shepherd came up to her and sat there, like he was waiting for a command "Uhm, platz.(Lay down)" The dog did as he was told and was still staring at her "Good boy." she rubbed the dog behind his ears "They must have taught you commands in German eh?" She stood back up and looked over at the boy.

Other Weapon(s): She has an advanced knowledge of plants, and knows many herbs and poisonous leaves a and berries. She knows the ideal places to find water as well.
Strongest Point: Being low, in a dark shadowy place where she is distanced from any enemy.
Weakest Point: Being near fire, or on a cliff. She is not comfortable with either of those.
Other: Her knife is also used as a throwing knife. She barely uses it as a stabby weapon. Also-She has a little bird for a pet.... She helped it out of its misery when it broke both wings in a fall. Role-play Sample: A light flickered on in a small house. Anyone could see it through the small window in the attic. Emerging from the shadows, a small girl floated softly to the window, creating a dark shadow against it. Her night dress was dark, midnight black. Long brown hair flowed to her lower back. She watched everything out the window, and her lips formed the words; "Are you okay?"
Gliding down the stairs, her nightdress wafted behind her. The girl slipped out the door, carefully placing her bare feet on the grass. She tip-toed carefully around, heading too a small shape that was as big as her forearm. She leaned down, the cold dew on the grass nestling in the fabric of her night dress. Picking up the shape, she stretched out one wing, and then another. Sharp, black eyes glazed with pain stared out at her. The beak in between was moving in a silent plea for this human to save her. Covering the bird, the girl whispered softly.
"I'm Jackie. You're....Blue." The simple name made the bird quiver. Jackie hoped it could understand she would help the creature. As she hurried to the house, Jackie drifted inside. She hoped that no one had woken up. Suddenly, her eyes widened. She sat down on the hard wooden floor. A tear slipped down her cheek as she remembered what happened...
"Sorry Jackie." A beautiful woman whispered, her face pale and sick. She was wearing a mask so the germs could not contaminate anyone in the room. She ran her fingers through her daughter's hair, which was draped by her shoulders. A sickly man coughed in the bed next to the mother. Jackie rushed to his side, leaning to give her father a kiss goodbye.
"No." He coughed, pushing her away. The man made one frail movement, and his body was still.
Snapping back to reality, Jackie crossed her legs, holding the bird in her lap. It was time to leave.

"I'm Marcous. No problem. Just remember, that's the last time I save your -Removed by Moderator-." After she told Hermes "Uhm, platz." And the dog sat, Marcous was impressed. German, eh. He thought. "Sprich, hund, sprechen." He commanded, the dog just cocked his head. "Damn dog," Marcous got up and weaved through the familiar building, until he was back in the fenced in courtyard. Few creatures limping about, one trying to break in. It looked like his ex-girlfriend. "S'up -Removed by Moderator-?" He chuckled, then went to the building, and sat down on the wall. He twiddled his thumbs, feeling bad about what he did before most of the human race was eliminated. He put his hand to his forehead, unaware of his two sisters' burning eyes. "What's wrong?" Agus' voice startled him. "Nothing, leave me alone," "C'mon, we've been through so much together." A cough came from Koilana. "You getting sick?" She shook her head. He stood up and put his arm on her head. And reeled back as fast as he could. "Not getting sick, damn, your head is a oven!" A sharp nudge jabbed his ribs. "Well, no that I think about it... I do have a sore throat, my head head--" She was cut off, only because she fell face first onto the ground.

Kasi huffed "I wouldn't expect you to save my -Removed by Moderator- again, because I won't be here." She wiggled her finger at him before dropping down and rubbing the dogs head "I've never had a dog before, so what do you like to do?" She said to the shepherd. She heard Marcous leave the room and stood up and followed, the canine at her heels, she turned a corner and went to check on Jynx. She was surpsrised to see the little white kitten still sitting in her place "Hey girl, look what we found." She motioned to the dog, the kitten responded with a mew and a bat of her paw. "Hermes, this is Jynx." She put the kitten near the dog ready to swing a punch if the dog attacked, but the dog didn't do anything except lick the little feline. Kasimia laughed and set the kitten down before standing up. "Hermes, Setz, Bleib." The dog did as he was told "Keep an eye on Jynx for me will ya?" the dog responded with a quiet bark. Kasimira exited the room and went to the others, as she entered a small room she saw the younger sister fall face first to the ground, Kasi ran over and kneeled next to her to lie her on her back, she looked at the girl's brother "What happened?" she re-adjusted her face mask and gloves before checking the girl's pulse, Still alive. She sighed "I think I'm gong to have to leave soon." She looked at the boy then back at the girl "I'm not sure why, but it feels like I have to go somewhere, anywhere.."
Seems like going to school in Germany is finally paying off xD))

Jackie
A cry echoed through the forest, the bird was emitting a soft chee-chee sound. Glancing at the bird, Jackie tightened her grip on her knife. Blue's cry meant there was something coming. Bracing herself, Jackie let a small breeze carry her hair from against her back until it fell down again. She heard the scattering of leaves, though the creature sounded small. She pulled the knife out from her small belt, holding it above her shoulder, ready to kill. A young fox came scampering across the leaves. Hesitating for a moment, Jackie threw the knife.
About an hour later, short puffs of smoke rose above the trees. Jackie's eyes were directed at a pile of wood in front of her, and she was slamming two stones together. "Is it even possible to make fires now? Honestly," she said to no one in particular. Soon great tongues of flame sprouted, charring the branches. Blue lept back, letting out a "scrraa" of disgust. Jackie giggled, the glanced at the young fox. She sighed. It was not infected and she wanted to make the most out of her kill. Sticking her knife in the flesh, she skinned part of the fox. When finished, there was still patches of fur here and there in the small area she scraped. Jackie picked up a piece of meat, wrinkling her nose in disgust. She poked a stick through it, hanging it over the fire.
When Jackie was done, twice had the meat fallen into the fire. But she got it out, and looked at the half-burned meat. She glanced protectively at her knife, which was coated in blood. Cutting up a bit of the meat, she opened her mouth. Slowly dropping the fox in, she chewed. "Aww, gross! Here, have your share," Jackie said, spitting out the fox meat and pushing the carcass of the uncooked fox to Blue. The bird hopped over, pecking at the cut part.
"I am now officially a vegetarian." She said, watching the blue-feathered bird scrub the blood off his beak. Crooning with delight, he tore off another piece of meat. Jackie sighed, turning away. She tossed some mud-dirt on the fire, eliminating the light. Walking over to a tree, she started digging around the roots. Tucking her knife under her arm, Jackie tried to fall asleep.
Watching the human go to sleep, Blue lifted his wings and took off, rustling the leaves on the ground.
Scratch that part about Jackie being afraid of fire. By the way, every time I finish Jackie's part, I will add a small section about Blue. Just a sentence or two. Also, the only reason she is in the forest is because her house was out a few miles from town. She has always been a rural gal. Right now her fire could be seen by anyone from a nearby town. She is trying to find one.))

Marcous felt tired. Too tired. He kept shaking his head, trying to keep awake. He stood up, leaving the girls, walking to the shower room, locking the fogged glass. He took off his clothes and started the water. The lines have been off for two days, but he knew that the police station had it's own Propane tank. He took made sure his face was wet, and he was ready to stay up late. He should've made himself coffee earlier. He took a long breath.

Jackie
When she woke up, the girl stretched and lifted herself to her feet. A strange bird fluttered down onto some branches. Jackie hovered for a moment, then took off. She darted past trees, hopping through the shadows. Carefully avoiding any light, she skidded to a stop. Panting, Jackie had run at least a quarter of a mile in just three minutes*. She leaned against a tree, looking high up into the branches.
Jackie felt like her stomach was going to flip. High places worried her. You can die so easily, she thought, think about falling from one! The top! Closing her eyes and shuddering, she continued on. Looking at the strange blue bird still following, she blinked sadly.
"You think there's others like us, Blue?" Her words barely split the eerie silence of the woods. "We will find that town, I know it," she added. Regaining her breath, she trudged on. At one point, there was a muddy area. Hesitating, Jackie prodded the sludge with her toe. She crouched down. It was at least twenty feet, and no trees grew so she could leap across the roots. Must have been a river, Jackie thought curiously, but how did it come to be like this? She flinched, suddenly realizing that it was because of that infection. Not wanting to get the sickly germs on her flesh, Jackie hustled on, heading what should have been downstream.
Deep in the woods, something stirred. A flock of crows sputtered from the trees, shrieking that horrible "caw," that they were known for. Widening her eyes, Jackie flinched. Blue screeched in alarm as well, slamming into her shoulder with more warning cries. Pulling her knife out, she looked around. "A bridge!" She echoed, spotting a brown long shape not too far away. Tensing her muscles, more birds cried out into the sky. Their black shapes were bigger than the first flock. "Whatever it is, it's getting closer," she said. Blue lifted his wings, spreading them and pulsing upward into the sky. Jackie slowly nodded, breaking into a fierce run for the bridge. "God help me!" She whispered.
Finally, the wooden bridge came into view. The sickened brown mud sloshed only about five inches under it. Jackie heard leaves stirring, gasping. A large black creature came into view, and she tried to spin around and run, though her warning was too late. It tackled her, bloodshot eyes glimmering with menace. Jackie's eyes started tearing. She could not reach her knife. Was she really going to die like this? Letting out a scream, she writhed under the massive animal. Was this..A dog? How? It was taller than normal, and much more ferocious. No. A wolf. Snapping jaws teared at her, though never touching her flesh. Not yet anyway. Already the wolf was clinging onto her so that his claws ripped at her left arm.
A loud shriek echoed through the woods. Jackie was looking at her arm. It was split open, and blood was flowing heavily. Jackie recalled how her beautiful bird, Blue, had saved her.
The blue bird slammed himself against the wolf's flank with his talons digging into the side. Jackie had enough time to wrench her knife from her pocket and lash it against the wolf. His eyes were a milky white, proving the canine was infected. Struggling to her knees, she tackled the wolf as it snapped at Blue. Then she hung on, clinging as hard as she could. The wolf was thrashing too much for her to kill it...
Remembering the wolf's body go limp, she shuddered. Scraping some leaves from the ground, she wrapped them around her arm until she could grab her bandage roll later. She was too...Tired, dizzy...A thud bumped across the ground. Jackie fell to the ground, dizzy. The leaves were turning red. They did though, act as a blood protector.
Blue sadly watched his friend fall. He lifted his wings and flew to the town. It was a shriek of horror as well as a cry for help.

Kasimira was shocked as she watched the girl's brother exit the room, doesn't he care what's happening to his sister? She let out a growl like sound and looked back at the young girl, her face was becoming pale and she had begun to sweat "What's happening?" she whined as she looked back at the door that the girl's brother had gone through. She hoped he would return soon so he could care for the young girl. Kasimira stood up and exited the small room and went to Hermes and Jynx, the dutch shepherd and the white kitten were sound asleep, she revealed a slight attempt of a smile and collapsed on her rump and hugged her knees to her chest and began staring at the cold cement floor.
