Title: Delete my Profile/Posts?

I recall someone mentioning that accounts and posts cannot be removed. As they say, once its on the internet, its there forever, and I wish I'd of known that growing up on the internet... But I'd just like to know if its possible to delete these nowadays? I hope so. Please put this account out of its misery if you can, I'm begging you.
