Favorite Canine Species

I love all canines, but coyotes, wolves, and golden jackals are probably my "favorites", as I enjoy reading about them most.

Hyenas are not canines, though- they belong to the feliform suborder, along with mongooses (their closest relatives), felines, and civets. They appear canine-like as a result of convergent evolution.

Hands down for arctic wolves. Also my favorite animal of all.

If I had to pick a real canine, it would be a wolf, big floofos.
