The human race has been wiped out completely but luckily the animals are still surviving in the world. The new race that now seems to run the world are the dogs. Yup, dogs are the new rulers of Earth! There is a large castle in Great Britain called the Lurking Shadow Empire. All kinds of dogs live in the empire. Big and small,happy and sad,rich and poor! But the ruler of this empire is Isaiah. Isaiah... The Shepard that runs the empire, but what happens next will shock the entire dog race...

Isaiah hopped off his throne and started to pad toward his guards. "Hello there." He said dipping his head to the guards then continuing on until he reached the outside of the castle and looked around seeing nobody walking on the streets yet. "Well that's odd..." He muttered and lifted his head to sniff the air around him. "The empire is never this quiet, I think something might be wrong here..." He said until he heard a evil laugh behind him. A shadow like creature stood behind him in the shape of a human. "The human race shall rule the world again!" The shadow laughed crazily then disappeared along with the empire and all of the dogs that were in the empire...
Isaiah roamed the streets for a few days to look for some dogs that saw the shadow figure. "Hello?" He called out and perked his ears to ear a response,even the slightest sounding response he just wanted a response to see if anyone was alive. "Hello...?" He called again and laid down his ears still perked. "No need to be afraid of me, I'm the king of the Lurking Shadow Empire and I would like all that saw the shadow creature to please, speak up. I'm afraid if that shadow creature gets what he wants all of the races of animals will be gone forever!" He said and waited.

Personality: Adro is a stubborn dog who normally would want to listen to herself more than anyone else, but she's learned to control it when the leader instructs her to do something. Background/History:When Adro was a pup, she had no siblings since they died due to the cold weather. As she grew up, her mother was mysteriously murdered, and her father disappeared a few days later. Forced to live by herself, Adro grew up, but was helped much later by another dog, who departed her when Adro managed to look after herself.
RP Sample: A sharp breeze pushed past her, causing Adro to shiver a little. The branches seemed to be glowering over her - their large size swallowing the light up. Pausing to glance up, the Canaan female tried to peer past the branches in attempt to search for the moon, but there was none in sight. For some reason, light seemed to be glowing from the branches, causing a light path to lead the way. Without thinking, Adro continued, her neck fur bristled as her ears perked up for any danger. A sudden clatter made her jump and she whipped her head into the direction of the sound. She relaxed a little when she realized it was only the branches, however, there was no wind to make them move. Shivering, Adro pressed forward, ignoring the branches as she darted into the poor light. A scream erupted near her, and Adro jerked her head towards the sound. A thick layer of mist hung around her, but she could see the faint outline of a figure standing a few feet away. Suddenly drawn towards it, the Canaan dog sprinted across the forest, approaching the figure when another shrill screech bursted nearby. Halting to a stop, she narrowed her eyes as she tried to identify the scream, but when she turned back, the figure had disappeared. Shaken, Adro collapsed suddenly, feeling the weight disappear underneath her. The last she saw was a shadowy figure in front of her, grinning as he reached out to touch her. Blackness swallowed her.

Isaiah perked his ears looking down the street. In the distance, he saw a shadow creature walking toward him. "Holy crap!" He muttered and ran the opposite direction of the shadow creature. "What has this world turned into!?" He growled and took a right turn into the forest hopefully loosing the shadow creature that was chasing him.

Adro
Tan paws padded down the empty street, a few leaves scattered around. Adro's ears strained for any sound - at least something alive or nonliving, but all she could hear was the faint sound of the wind howling. Sighing, her ears drooped a little as she continued forward. She shivered as she suddenly felt the gaze of a creature, and her head turned to see a shadowy figure slowly walking behind her. Frightened, she picked up her pace, shooting a glance behind her. Her heart beat faster when the shadow matched the same pace as her. Soon, she sprinted off into the woods, flattening her ears as she thrust another glance behind her. Relief washed over her when she noticed that the shadow had disappeared. As she started to turn her head back, she didn't notice another canine in front of her, and she barreled right into it, causing a yelp to escape her maw. The two tumbled down the slope as Adro's paws flailed in attempt to get a grip hold on something, but the roll was too quick for her. Suddenly, her body made contact with a log, sending her to a stop as pain shot up her body. Opening her eyes, she quickly scrambled onto her paws, glancing around wildly for the figure. When she finally spotted the creature, she carefully padded over, gently nudging it with her paw. She relaxed a little when she realized it was a canine, and her ears flattened. "S-sorry!" she apologized, feeling awkward.

Isaiah yelped as he stumbled to the ground. "That hurt!" He growled glaring at Adro. "Watch out where your going please because the shadow thing is still following!" Isa said and quickly got to his paws running in the opposite direction of the shadow creature. "Hurry up before that thing kills you!" Isaiah said and soon, disappeared into the forest once again.

Adro dipped her head apologetically, before darting after Isaiah. She wondered what the shadow figure wanted with them, but she decided that it wanted to kill them. We weren't doing anything to harm you in the first place! she yelped in her mind, feeling annoyed as she glanced back quickly. The shadow figure wasn't gaining nor loosing, and Adro wondered how long this was going to take. Focusing her attention back on Isaiah, she did her best to keep up with him.

Once when he looked ahead, he saw a cabin. "Comon!" He barked and ran inside the cabin. "Once you're in shut the door and lock it!" He called and went into a corner in the cabin.

Adro's ears perked as she caught the last of Isaiah's words, and she quickly darted into the cabin. At first, she was about to stick her nose into the corner when she remembered to shut the door. Turning back, her eyes widened when she spotted the outline of the shadow figure, and she immediately threw herself against the door, slamming it shut. Wildly searching for the lock, she winched as she heard the fierce pounding on the door. Her eyes gleamed as she spotted the lock, and she quickly pushed it up with her muzzle, making it swing over and falling down into its correct spot. Cautiously backing away from the door, Adro braced herself as she eyed the door, making sure it didn't burst open. The door held.
Ignoring the pounding on the door, Adro turned to face Isaiah. Even though she knew it was a stupid question, she anyway asked, "Did the shadow hurt you?"

Isaiah shook his head. "Those things can't even get close to me." Isa said. "They're to slow for my taste, and I'm way to fast for them." He said and came out of the corner scratching his ear. "So, where did you come from if I may ask...?" Isaiah said and looked at the female. "As in, are you trying to figure out what these shadow idiots want also...?" He asked laying down.

Adro flopped onto her haunches, raising a hind leg to scratch at the nagging itch behind her ear. She paused at the brute's question, and she lowered her leg and stared into the direction of the canine. "Well, I didn't stay in once place for too long. I'm a stray." Adro answered, tilting her head at the brute's second question. "Hmugh. I have been asking myself what they want, but I feel uncomfortable with searching for deeper answers." She replied, relaxing when the pounding on the door had stopped. "Let's hope that stupid shadow disappeared for good." She muttered under her breath, stretching out on the floor. Glancing back up at the brute, she asked, "What about you? And what's your name?"

"I'm Isaiah." He said and flicked his ear. "My empire calls me Isa for short." He laid down and sprawled out onto the ground. "The shadow creatures took my Empire and none of the dogs in it are left, I'm trying to find out where the empire got taken,and what the shadow creatures want to do with the dogs."

Adro flicked an ear, listening to the brute speak. "Isaiah - that's a nice name." She commented, nodding as he finished. "Adro's the name, and I didn't know there was an empire." She muttered, resting her head on her paws. "If you want, I can try and help you find your empire and your dogs. I don't think I'll be much of a help, but it's worth a shot." Adro offered, raising her head a little.

"Oh, the empire is in great Britian." Isa said. "Well, it was until the shadow people took it." He huffed and looked at Adro. "You would...? Thanks I need as much help as possible!" He said his tail wagging a bit.

Adro nodded, feeling a little glad that she had cheered up Isaiah a little. "Sure - why not? Besides, I wouldn't have anything to do if I were just running away from the shadow figures all the time." The Canaan dog added, pulling herself into a sitting position. "So, um. What do we do now?"

"Wait till all three of the shadow creatures are done now, duh..." Isa huffed pointing out the window where the other two new shadow creatures were looking in. "As in, rest here." He said and walked into the bedroom and hopped onto the bed, sprawling out. "Night." He said and put his head down on the bed in an attempt to fall asleep.

Adro rolled her eyes at the brute. "How was I about to know?" she muttered, watching Isaiah pad into the direction of a bedroom. "I think I'll jut stay here and keep watch." The fae objected politely, stretching out on the floor. She turned her head to glare into the direction of the shadows, who disappeared a few moments later. Sighing, she laid her head on her paws, her tail softly thumping against the board floor.

RP Sample~ The chocolate brown coydog strode along the riverbank, his tongue lolling from his jaws. Parting his maw in a yawn, Kelso eyed a cozy looking spot near the water. Padding in a few ritualistic circles, he finally lay down with a huff on the gravel. Lazily, he plopped over onto his side, sprawling out with a smirk of satisfaction plastered on his face. Flickering his golden eyes closed, it didn't take long, as usual, for him to drift into a lazy slumber, his sides slowly rising and falling with each breath.

Personality: Listal is a patient dog who will carefully listen to the given instructions and tuck them away in her mind for later application. She has a sharp memory and can easily refer to it if need be. She isn't easily frightened, but sometimes her boldness leads her into trouble, especially when she feels a little too confident in herself. She does sling around a few sarcastic or rude remarks, but she mostly speaks kindly, unless if you arouse her anger.
History: Listal and her older brother Alever were trained by her parents to hunt in the wild, and she learned to fend for herself during her childhood. However, when she and her sibling grew older, they chased them off so that the two would be able to apply their lessons to her life, not because their parents hated them. She and her brother struggled with a few difficulties at first, but they eventually pushed past them and lived on their own until they joined Isaiah and the others.
RP Sample: Listal silently weaved through the trees, and she saw that the branches where choirs of birds used to sing were already lined with cold snow. She blinked, suddenly realizing how much she would miss listening to the beautiful songs of bird’s chirps. They’ll be back, she promised herself. By the time she had reached the frozen river, the snow was falling harder, and Listal found that she had to squint just to see the faint outline of her brother.
“It’s too hard to trace scents with all this snow!” she complained, opening her jaws desperately and spitting as she ended up with a mouthful of flurries.
“I can’t even see!” Alever howled.
Horror gripped Listal’s shoulders as she detected the pangs of fear splitting in her littermate’s words. She stumbled forward and uttered a low cry as her paw tripped on something thin and long. A pain-filled yelp ripped through the air, and she quickly jumped back with a whine.
“That’s my leg!” Alever screamed.
Listal felt herself breathe a sigh of relief as she recognized her brother’s annoyed voice. “Sorry!” she called out an apology, and she hid her amusement as only a snort came her way. She squinted hard into the white air and scrambled forward as she caught a glimpse of Alever’s pelt through the falling snow.
“You’re all wet,” he grumbled as she quickly approached him and nuzzled his ear. He was sitting in the snow, despite how cold it was, and she slowly rested on her haunches as well.
Alever opened his mouth to say more, but Listal suddenly froze and hissed, “Wait!” A flick of her tail urged him to remain silent, and he impatiently waited as Listal’s ears pricked up, searching the area.
A lonely bird chirped, then fluttered off.
“It was only a bird!” Alever grumbled, but Listal scooped up a pinecone and shoved it into his mouth. He spat it out and growled, glaring at her as he slunk off to sulk by a tree a short distance away. She ignored him and listened intently.
Another bird started singing.
Huh. That sounds weird, Listal thought as she listened to the bird’s song. It sounded distressed—it didn’t sound bird-like at all, but what else could it be? As she listened, the bird’s voice grew louder and louder, increasing in volume till it stretched out into a full length note of agony squeezing the air. It ripped at the air, splitting it and shattering the deadly silence that had fallen upon the littermates.
“That’s not a bird!” Alever gasped as he scrambled to his paws, his head wildly turning in all directions as he tried to pinpoint the source of the awful music.
“It sounds like it’s close!” Listal whined, horror lacing her voice as she weaved around her brother. His lips pressing back into a snarl, Alever took off, dashing towards the sound. A spray of snow from his rapid legs showered Listal. Blinded by the white flakes, she blindly flew after him, relying on her sense of smell to carry her safely.
“Shadow!” Alever suddenly howled. Disbelief slammed through Listal.
“What?!” she screeched.
“Look out!” he bellowed.
The warning came too late. Listal slammed into Alever’s hindquarters. Confusion whirled through her head as she wildly scrambled up, blindly stumbling around with no direction in mind. Everything spun, and she meekly sank into the snow, waiting for recovery. A foul stench entered her mouth, and she gasped for clean air.
“By the stars!” Alever spat. “Even a pup could smell that!”
“Smell what?” Listal gasped out, and he turned to nudge her up onto her paws.
“Shadow scent,” he warned, and she immediately spun around with a growl rumbling in her throat as she scanned the area for a glimpse of a dark figure. “It’s gone now,” he sighed, and she slightly relaxed before worriedly licking his cheek. He shook his head and slowly lowered his gaze to the the white snow surrounding them. "I still can't believe we got caught off guard," he muttered, bitterness seeping through his voice. Listal said nothing, but she gave him another reassuring lick. A grunt escaped his maw, and he shut his eyes for a moment. Neither of them saw the shadowy figure rapidly flying towards them until it was too late.

So Isaiah is now sleeping in a room and Adro is resting near the entrance of the door to keep watch. Three shadows are Peeping toms and are stalking the dogs outside. You didn't miss much))

The canine's body trembled with every uncertain pawstep she took, and the confidence that often streamed with her whenever she trotted around in the woods was no longer around. Listal blinked past the sharp wind as she sniffed the air in vain for her brother's scent. She lowered her head in defeat as her tail tucked itself underneath her legs, and she darted forward in fear that the same shadowy figure might find her alone. How stupid Alever had been to think it was only a bird they had heard! Why had he darted off towards the sound like that, so helpless and unguarded? The only direction they should have run of to was the opposite way, away from the screeches that still pierced her ears.
New scents suddenly filled Listal's nose, and her eyes slightly brightened as her head jerked up. She opened her jaws a little for better analyzing, and she stood quaking in the snow for a few seconds before determining the scents were of canine and they were coming from the cabin not far away. She began to surge forward, but she stopped with a hesitancy that spoke of a quivering fear. What if they didn't accept her? What if they weren't friendly? She shook her head before starting off in the direction of the small building. Those thoughts were to be worried about afterwards, not while she had no idea who they were and what their behavior was like.
The smell of canines grew stronger as Listal reached the cabin, and she scrambled up the porch steps, her nails clicking against the wood. She sniffed at the closed door before attempting to open it.

A rattle on the door made Adro jerk her head up, and her eyes widened as she heard something move outside. Cautiously rising to her paws, the Canaan female made her way to the door, pausing as she pressed her ear against it. A creature - no doubt - was trying to open the door, but the lock stayed put. She wondered if it was a shadow since it was banging against the door, but she realized that it was very soft unlike the shadow's fists pounding against it. She wondered if she should try, and she cautiously balanced herself on her hind legs, pressing her front paws on the door as her nose flipped the lock. Lowering herself back on all fours, she slowly backed away from the door, curling her lip as she braced herself for an attack.

Isaiah perked his ears and woke up with a jolt. He sprung out of bed and padded out of the room looking at the front door growling. The male Shepard got in a crouch ready to attack if it was a shadow creature.

Kelso had just gotten comfortable in a spot when the sudden pounding made him jerk his head up. He let out a growl, more annoyed at being prevented from sleeping than the fact that there was a creature threatening to enter. With a huff he trudged out of the room. "Wot the bloody hell is goin' on?" He muttered, flattening his ears. As the pounding sounded off again, he couldn't help but flinch in surprise. "Wot're we supposed to do, Isaiah?" He quickly said, eyes widening with confusion as he looked to the alpha.

"If a shadow creature comes in, attack." He huffed. "What else you idiot?" He said and eyed the door again just in case, still growling.

Kelso flattened his ears at the alpha and raised his head, flicking his tail upward. "Well then. No need for the attitude." He mumbled disrespectfully, glaring at him before snapping his attention to the door as another loud bang erupted from it. Lowering his head, he focused on it, muscles tensed.

A clicking sound filled Listal's ears, and she momentarily stopped banging to glance up at the shiny, metal object that appeared to be stuck on the door. Perhaps that was where the sound had come from. Her ears flattened back against her skull as she glared at the cabin distrustfully, and she was beginning to turn away when she caught a sudden whiff of shadow scents. Fear jammed her heart up in her throat, and a soft whine laced with concern escaped her maw as she realized she had no other choice. Leaping up, the canine grasped the round object with her jaws and shook at it violently. For a moment, she thought nothing would happen, but something abruptly gave way, and she found herself tumbling head over heels as muscle slapped against the floor.
Dazed, the Shiba Inu slowly shook her head before leaping up to her paws, and she found herself surrounded by growling dogs, all ready to attack her. She blinked before pulling her ears slightly back in a friendly manner to show that she was of no danger to them. "Hello," she murmured, politely dipping her head at them as her tail gently wagged. She twisted her head behind her to see that the door was jutting open, and she quickly pushed it shut with her nose, deciding the others wouldn't appreciate it if a shadowy figure was able to slip inside.

Isaiah got up seeing the dog. "It was another dog...?" He muttered a bit confused. "But there were shadow creatures out there, they couldn't have gone that quickly..." He said then walked over to the door, shutting it,and locking it. "Anyway, hello there." He said looking at the dog.

The coydog straightened up, quickly ceasing his growling and staring wide eyed at the stranger who had tumbled inside. "Heh heh, bet that makes ya feel pretty stupid, huh Isie?" Kelso laughed mockingly at Isaiah and casually slumped back to his haunches to scratch an itch on his ear.

Isaiah shot a mean glare to Kelso. "Shut up you lazy piece of crap..." He growled and then turned to the new dog stepping forward. "What were you doing out there all alone? You could've gotten killed by these shadow idiots!" He said waiting for the new dogs story.

Listal's eyes grew slightly bigger, and a low growl started to rise in her throat as her ears twitched, threatening to flatten against her skull. She took a deep breath and suppressed her anger, convincing herself that the brute had no idea what had happened. It wasn't his fault that he had naturally asked. Still a little shaken, she shook her head and lowered her gaze to the wooden boards that lay underneath her paws. "I don't want to talk about it," she mumbled, but there was a firm tone behind her words that supported her.

Kelso flattened his ears and narrowed his eyes at the alpha before gazing over at the Shiba Inu. "Well good. Don't wanna hear another sob story, anyway." He murmured with a careless shrug and a smirk, sliding down to rest on his belly. He winced slightly as his belly made contact with the cold wooden floor of the room.

Isa rolled his eyes and kicked Kelso in the ribs. "Go lay down!" He snarled at Kelso madly.

Kelso curled his muzzle in a snarl, scrambling to his feet after Isaiah's action. "Wot the bloody hell do you fink I was doing!?" He snapped, not caring about the fact that he should respect the alpha. Letting his lips curl back over his fangs, he let out a huff and simply turned his back on Isaiah, then lay down again, mumbling inaudibly under his breath.

Unaffected by the canine's rudeness, Listal let the remark roll off her back as she remained on her paws, unwilling to sit down on the floor. She still didn't trust the others surrounding her, even though they were all canines, but at least they all had one thing in common: they didn't want to be caught by the shadows. A sigh laced with concern escaped her maw at the thought of those nasty creatures, and she wondered what had become of Alever. Don't even think about him, she roughly told herself, and she swallowed hard against the thought.
Listal ran her eyes over the dogs' faces, and the urge to know their names overwhelmed her, but she pushed it away, not wanting to introduce herself at this point. This was no time to get all cozy with chit-chat. "How long do you think we'll be stuck here?" was a question she longed to ask, but she quickly realized neither of them would have the answer. Frustration lodged deep into her mind, blurring her thoughts, and she inwardly shook her head at herself. "What's your name?" she asked, directing the question to the black dog. "If you don't mind my asking."

"I'm Isaiah." The Shepard said sitting down glaring at Kelso. "And that idiot that I told to lay down is Kelso the lazy,fat,and crappy mutt." He said then looked at the other dog. "I already forgot her name." He said flicking his ear. "And we'll be stuck here for a few days, because more shadows just showed up when you came running toward the cabin." He said pointing his paw outside the window to the shadow creatures looking inside. "And if I may ask, who are you?"

Kelso flattened his ears again and shot the Alpha a glare over his shoulder. "Oh shut your bloody trap." He snarled, hackles bristling in annoyance. The coydog's gaze wandered to the golden fae and he flashed her a quick smirk as he pushed himself up to his haunches.

Listal wouldn't admit it, but a faint rush of relief fluttered through her as the black dog responded politely to her question. Although she wasn't sure if she would truly label his tone as kind or not, it most certainly wasn't meant to be rude - at least that's what she interpreted it as. A small smile flickered on her mouth as her tail slightly wagged at Isaiah.
"My name is Listal," she returned, her eyes momentarily resting on the dog that Isaiah had rattled off a list of negative adjectives about. A smirk suddenly flashed across the brute's mouth, but she pretended not to see, unsure if it was directed to her or not. Her eyebrow slightly raised as she turned back to Isaiah. "He doesn't seem very fat," she remarked.

Kelso rose to his paws and padded over, shoving Isaiah with his shoulder as he brushed past him. "I ain't. Isie, 'ere just woke up on the wrong side 'a the bed. As usual." He huffed, glaring at the black shepherd before smirking back at the female, sitting down on his haunches.

Listal slightly tilted her head, glancing at both of the males before releasing a slight chuckle. "Looks like both of you woke up on the wrong side of the bed," she murmured, casting a worried glance at the window laced with shadows, but her smile quickly returned. "I'm kidding. Although, I don't expect anyone to be very happy with those pests hanging around." She shook her head and slowly allowed herself to rest on her haunches, but she kept her ears perked up and her eyes alert for danger. "But never mind. It's a pleasure to meet you all." Her ear slightly twitched. "It's been quite a while since I've spoken with any canines. Too long, I should say."

Kelso flashed the female a crooked smirk, but Isaiah speaking up cut off his train of thought. Rolling his eyes, he snapped his attention to the black brute. "Yeah? Well that's more than you do in a month, alpha." He snapped, disregarding the submission he would normally supposed to show towards the alpha. Quickly, though, his demeanor shifted into an amused gaze. "All's you do is bark out orders." He murmured quietly in a confident, casual tone, now completely forgetting the fact that a newcomer was in their midst.

"How else are we going to get somewhere without orders?" He huffed. "You're the only one who doesn't help, I mean I'll leave you out to die if you don't fight or anything." He said giving a smirk to Kelso. "And I'm sure that all of the shadow creatures would love to have you for a meal since you look very good to things that want to kill us. Like them." He said and sat down scratching his ear. "Go lay down in the corner again before you hurt yourself Kelso, we all know you don't fight very well." He laughed.

Kelso scrunched his muzzle in irritation, shooting a quick glance of slight embarrassment at the new dog before glaring back at the alpha and rising to his paws. "Wot the blood hell does fightin' 'ave ta do wif anyfin'!?" He barked, flattening his ears against his head. "Well woteva', we all know you're juss' sayin' that 'cause you couldn't even fight off a cat, you pathetic mongrel." He laughed mockingly, lowering his eyebrows in amusement. "When it comes to actually fightin', you just 'ave the lot of us do it so's you can save your own hide. That's the real reason you 'ave a pack, ain't it. So you can juss' protect yourself." He spat, narrowing his golden eyes at the brute.

"Ah, the love of bad comebacks..." Isa smiled and starting to laugh at the pathetic stuff Kelso was saying. "And so you know, I made the pack because we all want to know the same answer besides you of course."

The coydog's muscles twitched in agitation and he let out an aggravated huff. "Woteva'. I don't even know why I agreed to join this stupid pack. Guess I just enjoyed the company is all- well most of it. Hmph." He plopped down to his haunches, lowering his head with a glare. "I suggest you shut your bloody trap 'fore I shut it for ya. 'Alpha' or not." He grumbled, glancing over at the Shiba Inu. "'An look, you're causin' all this trouble in front of a guest. Ttt, ttt, now that's just right rude." He nodded, flashing a smirk at Isaiah.

Isaiah glared at Kelso and got up walking toward him. "Shut up you bloody idiot!" He said mocking his accent. "I don't know why you joined either but woteva!" He said starting to laugh. ((Lower the rudeness level, it'll get my stress to high))

Kelso rolled his yes and let out a huff, clenching his teeth to keep himself from saying or doing anything he'd regret. Simply responding with a snarl, he turned his back on the brute and lay down, grumbling inaudible words under his breath.

Half-listening to the argument swirling around her, Listal twisted her head around and ran her tongue over her back, smoothing down the mussed fur till it stayed put against her skin. By the time she had started on her legs, Kelso had grown silent, and Isaiah's laughter was ringing in the air. She glanced up at the two of them, uncertain if there truly were signs of amusement tingling in her half-smile or if it were only pricks of annoyance disguised as politeness. She decided it was neither, and she was merely choosing to ignore the disagreement that had risen between the Alpha and the pack member. So he's the Alpha, she thought, pausing to study Isaiah for a moment. He certainly did have the authoritative air around him - she should have sensed it when she had burst into the cabin.
"I don't suppose there are any more pack members, other than this," Listal commented, a questioning tone vibrating in her words.

Isaiah shook his head. "No, all of the pack members I had in the Shadow Empire were taken away, and most probably killed." He sighed. "So, only us three unless you can deal with Kelso and me Fighting during our resting times." He huffed. "As in, unless you want to join us."

Shards of surprise flickered within Listal, but she smoothed the emotions from her face, leaving a blank mask that thoughtfully gazed at Isaiah. An invitation to join this dog's pack was the last thing she expected, especially after she had suddenly burst into the cabin in such an undignified manner. What if this was only a twisted trick being played on her? Her ears slightly pricked up at the thought, but she immediately pushed the idea away, knowing she could take care of herself. I'm not a pup anymore! she defiantly thought.
"I suppose," Listal replied, traces of excitement showing up in her voice despite her efforts to clear her emotions from her words. Annoyance with herself pricked within her, but the Shiba Inu ignored herself and bend over to bite at a itch on her leg. "Of course I will join." She raised her head to glance at Isaiah. "I'm very sorry about the rest of your pack," she softly said as she released a slight whine laced with sympathy. "Perhaps they can be found once again."

((Yeah, I hope it hasn't died. It has so much potential.
Basically, Isaiah and Kelso slung insults at each other until Kelso finally parked his butt into the corner and sulked like a boss. Isaiah then invited Listal to join the pack and see if she could tolerate the fighting, and Listal was like, "Challenge accepted, bro. We'll find all the lost puppies from your pack." That's basically it. Your character was forever alone by the door the whole time. :3))

A sigh escaped Adro's maw as she watched the two brutes bicker, and she lazily stretched out on the floor. Her eyes rested on the Shiba Inu with curiosity. The female seemed very strong and hard-headed for a size like hers, but Adro kept her mouth shut. Instead, she tilted her head and inspected Listal for a moment. She was about to open her mouth and speak with the fae when Isaiah suddenly turned to Listal and offered her to join. A smile crept onto the Canaan dog's face, and Adro dipped her head at Listal. "Well, welcome, I guess." She muttered, resting her head onto her paws.

At the sound of another voice, the Shiba Inu tossed a glance behind her, her eyes focusing on a Canaan dog who was watching her. Dipping her head in return, Listal attempted to identify the tone of the dog's voice, wondering if it would be considered hostile or not. She wasn't sure whether the stranger was truly glad she had joined the pack - perhaps she wished to be the only female. Listal had met some dogs before who felt that way, and she wouldn't be surprised if it were the same for Adro. Well, if that's the case, too bad, she thought, letting her tag wag a little.
