Title: In-Game torment (I'm venting -_-')
Post by: drifter on March 29, 2011, 10:13:39 pm: This isn't of any importance but it's bugging me so bad that I'm being selfish enough to dump it on whoever reads. Normally I don't give a hoot as to in-game drama but what I saw last night just makes me want to pull me hair out in frustration of people.

So, I've noticed that there is some Wolf / Lion wars going on in Flourite Plains. Like I said before I really don't care about this kind of stuff, but how can I ignore it when there I am sitting in the FP map just chillin', and as a wolf character, when a group of lion characters come storming up and demand, DEMAND, I leave. Of course I don't because I wasn't bothering no one in any way, and besides that, the map is public. They went on and on about it being their turf and I didn't belong there. Said if I didn't move then they would attack and rip my head off and eat my intestines, blah blah blah.... I left, but only because I was needed by a friend for an RP.

In comes my lion character, sitting there with a pride and we haven't started to RP yet but were heading that way when a two wolves come and sit. We ignore them because they aren't doing anything to us. Weren't, yet. One comes and buttswings in our faces and when we moved it would follow us and do it again. We asked them to stop, "no" they said. They demanded we leave for that was their "Territory." When I mentioned that the map was public and no one could claim property on it, that was when all hell broke loose.

"SHUT UP YOU DAMN LION!"
"we said LEAVE, or ELSE!!!"
"We were here first...you can't make us."

Enter about 6 more wolves.

"GET OUT OF OUR TERRITORY! NOW"
"MAKE US!"
"FU ADASDA *beepBeep* *cuss cuss*"

Tons of unspeakable words are shared.

Now what kills me is the fact that someone simply says, "Man wheres a Mod when you need them?" That was fuel to the fire. A few of the people with wolves went on about how Mods suck and they dont do anything, they make the game boring, on and on and on they went. This was about the time the whole stupid ridiculous "WOLFABOOS" "DUMB LIONABOOS" comes into it as well. Just because I'm playing a lion makes me a lionaboo? Just because I'm on a wolf or a canine for that matter I'm a wolfaboo and dont deserve to play the game?

I'm not going to throw around usernames and rat others out but please, what happened to respect? There are alot of people I've seen in-game that act like 5 year olds having a temper tantrum. I strongly believed that we left all this childish bickering and fighting behind on I.T. or mostly anyway. From the things I have seen, I was clearly mistaken.

Do you have a story to tell that you've experienced in-game that really just ticked you off to the point of just wanting to slap a hoe? Please, let's discuss it, let's vent together LOL. But if you do, please don't bag on others and post names. This isn't to mock or make fun of other members. I posted this because I'm tired of all this stupid warfare that seems to be circling the FP map.

You can still unblock them after the RP is done.

Blockbutton dont has to be used everytime for Stupid People. In FH you may have to "arrange with the blockbutton" so many players/packs/whatever can use the same spot to the same Time.

I know that it sounds kinda hard if you say "I block you". But if this is a sulotion everyone can be happy with, why not? As i sed, you can unblock them after the roleplay/being-there/spending-time-at-the-same-spot.

To be honest there is nothing you can say against it. A "I dont like to block people" is not a Reason to not use it.

And if you say now "Yeah but we were here first.." <- You absolutely know this wont change anything too. or "I dont want to block People because i have to" (what is absolutely LOL, have to? Well if there is a need then you HAVE to)
Just.Block.Them.

You dont hurt yourself or anyone else with the Blockbutton. You can actually talk about it with the others and handle it this way that you block each other in a "friendly" way, so no one gets in the way of the others.

You can always block, you can always unblock. N one gets hurt, and no one can get in the way of the others.

It was months ago and I didnt even care that much because I and my friend were not moving. xD

Of couse, me being me I spat back at her sarcastically. "Please, stop being a child and let others enjoy the game. Leave us alone." It was obvious this person wasnt rp'ing with me. They threw a fit and ran off and called me mean or something. xD I could've handled that in a nicer way, but I wasnt cussing at them and such. So they shouldnt have been so butt hurt about it.

This little Lion vs Wolf thing is so childish. I laugh at the thought of it sometimes. xD Its just like the Xbox360 vs PS3 wars. God, its just so darn funny when nerds get at it, describing with all their knowledge how their system is better. Its the same with this. Cept with childish children.

Ya' know, no capitals, no punctuation. And it's just a bright neon yellow-blue-pink-ish wolf whom's name isn't even capitalized.
I was loling. She said "yourll all b****s" (<--- it was censored with not enough stars) and ran away.
When people do that, I end up laughing at them because of how stupid they are. It's one of the reasons I like this game-- All the little trolls are so funny >w>

On the subject of Filtering... I hate that idea with a passion. Like I said before, start catering to one group of people who want something censored, and you open the floodgates to more ridiculous things. <.<' But if there is one added in the future, then the option to turn it off would be appreciated.

Also, the whole lion/wolf war is hilarious! Even though it gets out of control sometimes, I don't mind it. If I'm bored and none of my friends are on, I go looking for a den that's inhabited just to play along in their little game. Because even though they aren't permanently claiming that part of the map, they ARE rping there - and by wandering near their den, you've kind walked into their rp.

Me and my friend (both as wolves) decided to go visit another friend who has a wolf in our pack. She just happened to be the leader of a clan at the time and her clan were having some problems with wolves nearby, so we offered to be their 'bodyguards'. All of a sudden, some other cats in another clan just ran up and started yelling at my friend (the canine) and I to get off their territory, when a completely different clan they were rping with was standing just a few pixelized feet away. Luckily, our feline friend stepped in and said that we were with her. Surprise, surprise, the other clan started yelling at my friend's clan to get off their territory. That was when my canine friend and I just backed off and watched the two clans bicker. After a while, though, the other clan's leader stepped in and made an alliance with my feline friend's clan.

All is good, right? Nope. Just a few minutes afterwards some random cat ran up and claimed the territory as "Starclan's" (For all those people out there who aren't Warriors fans, StarClan is a clan of dead cats) I asked what in the world a clan of feline ghosts would do with a territory and they got insulted and ran off, saying that he would get 'StarClan' to kick us out of their 'territory'. Well, a half hour passed and still no StarClan showed up. After that, my canine friend and I just went back to our pack map.

So yeah.... never volunteer to be the bodyguard of a group of warrior cats roleplayers, otherwise you'll get caught in the middle of their territory claiming and (if your a wolf) be threatened to be attacked by a tiny cat that would probably have no chance against you. :P
