The government had been taking away children for years to sacrifice their lives, in order to do experiments on then, and test out substances on them. The citizens knew about this, but, none of them put a stop to it. None of them did. It's been years since they've taken this batch of children they had, and things are about to get a little crazy.
These kids have developed powers from the radioactive substances that they were experimented with. Each of them has their own unique power, that none of the others have. It's how they escaped hell, and how they've been running away from the government ever since.
The world is unaware that these kids have these powers, and the government is trying to find them, and put them back into experimenting, or kill them. Basically.. They're screwed.
The question is.. Can these teens get away from the government and into the safe zone, where they can live a normal life..? Or, will they be caught and either killed, or experimented again for the rest of their lives..?
Rules
1.) No killing off anyone's character unless they give you permission to. It's annoying when people do that.
2.) Your characters are not perfect. Give them some flaws! I mean, flaws are what build a character. It's annoying when they have.. No flaws at all, and are seemed to be.. "Perfect". Perfection is lie, guys.
3.) Be as active as you possibly can. If your not active for three days, I'm kicking you from the RP. Now, if you PM me and tell me your not going to be on, then, I'll let it slip. But, if you don't tell me that your going to be off for a certain amount of days, then.. I'm sorry, but, I'm kicking you. You can always reenter, though. There is no limit to the characters.
4.) Be literate. No "texter talk", horrible grammar, or any illiterate RP posts allowed. I mean, this RP is semi-literate to literate, so, just try to be as literate as you can.
5.) No ignoring anyone's character because you don't like them or something. It's annoying and rude. I mean, how would you like to be ignored in a RP..?
6.) This RP is not only about you. Remember that. So, don't always get injured or caught or something. That isn't the point of the RP.
7.) We will not RP until we have an even amount of females and males. Sorry, guys, but, I'm not having like.. 20 females and then.. 5 guys in a RP. It's a pain in the neck, and then a ton of drama comes out of having that many females with not enough males. Keep this in mind when your making your characters, guys.
8.) Romance isn't the main part of the RP. It's not really even in the plot, but, it's allowed, I mean, what's a RP without romance? Just, remember, love isn't the only thing about this RP. It's mainly about survival and trying to live with their supernatural powers.
9.) Cussing is allowed, but, please, don't do that in every post. Some people might take it to offense.
10.) If you plan on having something.. Huge happen, and people can get injured.. Then, PM me and ask me before you do it, just to make sure I'm okay with it. If you don't do that, I'm going to tell everyone that didn't happen, and to just ignore you until you ask me.
11.) Drugs and alcohol are allowed in the RP. I mean.. These teens might as well have something.. Right?
12.) If your RP with someone ends up.. Getting.. "To the bed", then either take it to PM or fade out. Please, no one wants to know that your characters are having.. Fun time..
13.) No fighting in OOC (out of character). It's stupid to do that. If you have a problem with someone, PM me and I'll fix it.
14.) Use the forum provided, please. I cannot stress this enough. I don't want your own forum, because I made one for you guys to use.
15.) Do at least 3 lines in each RP post. I mean, if you just give one liners, it's going to be hard to reply to you.

Grey's Academy for the Arts, typically just called Grey's Academy, or Grey L.A to the student body, is a gifted school located somewhere on the outskirts of Las Angeles, California. It was founded in 1859, and has grown from being simply a small school in a developing city to one of the most prestigious liberal art colleges to ever exist, becoming officially a college in 1989. It can only be compared to Harvard but more on a artistic scale. The founder, Arlo Grey, wanted a school that properly focused on the arts and how much it can impact somebody, as well as how the arts were really something that America needed. It was a view that was utterly progressive for the time, as many people criticized the school for not being more about jobs that they deemed "useful" but Grey didn't care and proceeded to host some of the most profound and absolutely creative minds of generations after generations.
The school offers many classes, from your basic Core classes to things such as Psychology and Philosophy. However, nothing is as renown as it's arts program. They offer a variety of programs under the arts though, such as: a culinary program, a performing arts program, a theater program, and of course, a visual arts program. The school tries it's hardest to accommodate every student at the campus, to make sure they're education is as finely strung as it could possibly be. The teachers here have all been hand selected by the dean, Ida Willard, and have undergone many evaluations through tests and such to make sure that they know as much about the subject they are to teach as they possibly can. Student and teacher relationships are highly frowned upon, and if a matter such as that is even in the slightest bit suspected, the school will conduct an investigation and if it's found as being guilty, the teacher will be terminated and sometimes even the student will be expelled; however, that depends on how serious the situation is.
Grey Academy is located only a few short miles away from Dockweiler Beach, where many of the students go on the weekends to have bonfires and typically party without the faculty members of the school noticing. The campus is huge, with a stunning courtyard in the middle of it where you can just sit on the benches placed everywhere and enjoy your lunch, and with huge buildings dedicated just to the classes they're hosting, such as the huge building just for the dancing majors, or the huge auditorium where the theater kids practice their acting. Of course, the core classes that the college offers are all located to the south of the courtyard, in a large building called the Central, as it's where all of the students end up emerging together . To the north of that building there is what is simply referred to as the Great Hall, which is where all of the dorms are. The dorms are co-ed, so students may all stay in the same hall regardless of gender, but the school always puts the same sex in the same room. The dorms also have a lounge area on the top floor, where they can all simply hang out. On the first floor of the dorms, there is a kitchen and showers, one shower room for the girls and one for the boys. The main office is towards the front of the school, and that's where the Dean can be located as well as the guidance counsolers and secretaries, who can help the students with anything official that they need to mess with. There's a gymnasium on the opposite wing of the theater, where an indoor pool is located as well as an excerice room, a indoor basketball court, a locker room, and outside there is a track and some soccer fields.
The school tries to accomedate for it's wide variety for students by offering them the best educational facilities and venues during their time at the college. After all, the students here just might be the voices of a completely new generation; one in which they're leading the next fight.[/fancypost]

- keeping the gender ratio rather even ! i understand not everyone is going to pick up a nonbinary character and i'm not saying you have to pick up two characters but i'd prefer it if the gender ratio stayed relatively even and if we start to get more females than males or vise-versa, i will cut off the higher numbered gender until we have even, if not a little more of the opposite gender just in case lets say we're getting a lot of male apps at a really fast pace.

- don't flood any of the threads, please. i don't think anyone should leave for a minute and come back to three of your posts in a row on anything. it's kinda offputting to be in a roleplay where if you aren't constantly checking the thread, you will have no idea what's going on or worse; you don't have any plots because every time someone makes a new character, someone else jumps on it and they're already planning the names of their kids and it's been like fifteen minutes since they got accepted
- make sure faceclaims actually look like they can play a certain age. obviously chris pratt isn't going to play a 18 year old freshmen at the school, so just keep that in mind when you're choosing faceclaims

- there is a ten point merit system in the regards of your behavior. everyone starts out at five, and you may go up if you're rewarded with good behavior. however, if you are repeatedly getting in trouble, your merits will go down. the amount of points for the merit depends on whatever the action is, if you get to zero in merits, it's an automatic expulsion and you will not be refunded for any of the tuition payed for, and will be expected to pay for the rest of the year's tuition.

While he isn't exactly best at healing, seeing as some extreme wounds are hard to heal, he still manages to get a good job done. Most of his healing comes from his hands, however, a small peck can numb the area. If he kisses someone on their head, he can rid their headache. He can kiss away a bruise. However, his powers have a rebound. In some cases, he takes the wounds instead.

Power;; As a healer, most of Zero's powers revolve around that specific area. While he isn't exactly best at healing, seeing as some extreme wounds are hard to heal, he still manages to get a good job done. Most of his healing comes from his hands, however, a small peck can numb the area. If he kisses someone on their head, he can rid their headache. He can kiss away a bruise. However, his powers have a rebound. In some cases, he takes the wounds instead.

The brunette's blue eyes examined the room as the scientist injected her with some chemical, directly into her vein. She clenched her jaw, holding back the urge to scream every swear word known to man, as she looked at the man, her eyes cold and unforgiving. "You know, by injecting me with these chemicals, you might be killing another human being, making you a bigger murderer, and sending you to hell." She said bitterly, her dainty hands balling up into fists. It was obvious she was trying to get out of the restraining device that had her locked in the seat.
"Yes.. But.. Who cares..?" The man sneered, looking at the girl coldly as he finished injecting her with the radioactive chemicals. The brunette gave a huff, then watched as he left. "It's not smart to leave the psychotic chick alone with chemicals.. In her.. I mean, isn't this how the Hulk became.. The Hulk..?" Ember hissed, narrowing her eyes at the male as he exited the room. "Now... What the hell could they possibly be experimenting now..? The effects of radioactive chemicals..? Oh, goodie. So original." She said sarcastically, then, rolled her eyes as she heard the intercom that was in the room go off.
"Will you shut up before we remove your vocal chords..?" A male voice hissed, and the brunette just rolled her eyes. ""You said you were going to do that last week." She heard the male's groan, and then a smirk slid onto her face. She watched as the device that restrained her, released her, and then, the brunette got up. "So, what do I have to do this week..?" She asked with a snarl, looking at the intercom. "Just see if anything you do is different. You know the drill, Experiment X." The male's voice boomed, causing Ember to flinch. "Whatever." She replied and looked around the room. ""I feel absolutely nothing." Her hands fled to her hair, going into it gently and messing with it. ""You have to feel different in some ways.." The male's voice replied, obviously ticked.. The seventeen year old just shook her head. "Absolutely the same." A devious smile slid onto her face. "You're a liar. Now, what are you feeling..?" The male hissed. "Okay, calm down, sweet cheeks. I feel.. Hotter." Ember replied. "I mean being serious." The male replied again. She rolled her eyes. "I feel like my temperature has risen."
"How high..?" He asked. "Like.. Really high. Now, let me out." Ember hissed, crossing her arms. After a few minutes of fighting, the brunette winced as the 'guards' as she called them, came out with the shocker sword thingies [[I have no clue exactly what they're called. They're like.. stick.. electrical things that shock you and keep you back. So, yeah.]], and backed her up into the chair. She whined as the latches snapped and her arms were captivated again, and then sighed as the scientist entered the room again. "You're now going back into the room with the other... Mutts." He sneered, putting handcuffs on her before unlocking her from the chair. Ember gave a whine, then sighed as he led her back to the room with the other.. 'experiments', and, winced as she got thrown into it. She sighed as he entered the room and uncuffed her before pushing her away and getting out before she could get up. She sighed as the heavy metal door slammed, then, she turned to the wall.. "I don't feel good.." She whispered to herself, sitting in the corner of the room and curling up.

Karla Amanda Rodriguez Karla was sitting quietly in the corner of the room,watching with empty eyes the cold floor.She didn't knew what the other kids were doing,for everything that was happening in the room and outside of it was no longer catching her attention.She knew that soon,her turn will come to experiment all those dangerous substances,not knowing if she can survive them and perhaps live another day.The only thing that kept her active was her mind,for many thoughts were swimming across it.It wasn't the needle that became the fear in her heart,it was the substance sent in her body.The pain?She was used with it,it didn't matter to her anymore if it was going to hurt or not.
Her dreamy mood came to an end when two men entered the room,but still she didn't moved a muscle.It was enought for her to hear them."Allright,let's see who's next,and hastly.We don't want to make the scientists wait,right?one of the men spoke,with a smirk on his face.He then scanned the whole room and his eyes stopped on Karla."Yeah,you!Now,come with us."It was clear that it was her the one whom he chosen,althought her eyes were still affixed to the floor,and she didn't bothered to get up,she acted like she didn't heard him,thing that angered him."Oi!You deaf or something?!I'm talking to you!"She then finally raised her head,looking at the man with a look on her face full of disgust towards him.It was like she was going to kill him any minute,but this didn't made him back down."If you want to be carried like a princess then fine!"said the man as he was approaching her."Lay one single hand on me and you'll be dead.she replied but her threat was of no importance to him for he caught Karla by the arm and with brute strength made her get on her legs and dragged her across the room. Karla tried to pull back,and seeing how it wasn't working,she decided to punch the man in the head with her free arm but her attempt to do so failed as the other man caught her arm and managed to get her out in the corridor.She stopped struggling,for it was of no use,and let herself to be led to the experiment room.Once there,the men forced her to get on a table and strapped her with leather belts then left the room,leaving her with the scientists.Now,she felt like a dog begging for mercy from those cruel men that were in fact the real animals."You won't...get away with this!she said,watching a man that finished preparing the seringe and getting the needle close to her arm."Now,stay relaxed or it will hurt you more than it should."Karla was staring at the ceiling,waiting for the needle to touch her skin and soon,she felt a bearable pain.Once the scientist finished injecting her,another one called the same men into the room."Now,do you feel different?"said the one who injected her."My...head hurts."she replied,feeling a sharp pain in the center of her brain."Now you've finished your filthy experiments on me....let me go!"she demanded,althought she knew already the answer.It wasn't over."Who said we'd set you free?answered the scientist,laughting at the same time,raising Karla's hatred."Take her boys!The men released her from the leather belts and carried her to the same room,she wasn't able to walk,perhaps because of her headache that was growing even more.Once in the same room she was before,the men dropped her violently on the floor,and with her last powers,Karla crawled to the same corner.The substances have already got in her body,and there wasn't much to fight for now.She was groaning silently,resting her head against the wall,althought it wasn't easing the pain."Am I....going to die....she said but mostly to herself,as her vision was slowly blurring.At least,once I die,the pain will end.she thought,althought her inner self was still fighting,keeping her alive.

Madeline clenched her fists as the men in white approached her. They each had a syringe in their hands with a thin, sharp needle and each syringe had a strange purple fluid inside. Maddy was used to the injections by now, but this one looked different. She tried to pull her hands out of the leather straps that were holding her down, but it only resulted in the 'doctors' laughing cruelly at her. They were now only a few paces away from her and one of them was counting down from five "Four, three, two, one." They all lunged forward at the same time, Maddy shuddered as she felt the seven needles piercing the skin on her arm. And then, nothing. All she saw was darkness, it was crushing her down as if it was drowning her. She woke up gulping down air, she had been knocked out for hours it seemed. The small cracked mirror beside her mattress showed a girl with bright amber eyes. That's not me. She stared at the mirror, her eyes had always been blue. What have they done to me? She held her head in her hands and started to sob, the rain started outside and she stopped crying to look out of the crack in the wall she used as a window. Ember Hadley
The brunette looked up and gave a thankful smile to Zero, before looking at Karla. "Karla.. You're not gonna die.. I promise," She whispered, then closed her eyes. Hopefully, Alex is okay.. She thought to herself, worried about the nineteen year old. She signed, biting her lip before touching her forehead again. "I..I feel lightheaded.." Ember whispered before looking at the door. Alex.. Please..Come back.. She thought, then ran her fingers through her hair and sighing. She then got up and walked towards the door, keeping the jacket on her.
She hit the door, her eyes watering as she did so. "Let us out.. Please.." She whispered to herself before trying again, as if she was trying to break out. She sighed and gave up, then walked back to her corner and sank down the wall, feeling numb. Her hand touched her forehead and she quickly pulled it away, then winced. It's getting worse.. Was all her mind could think of. She sighed again, then, looked over at the door one more time. "This is insane. I don't see what's the point of us being in here. I mean, all we're doing is getting used to experiments.. Surely, there has to be a better way for this.."

Alexander Peters
Alex sighed as they fully injected him with the serum. "Are we done here..?" He asked with a groan, his brown eyes glazed with pure bitterness and hate. He looked at the lady, who just nodded and forced him up. He sighed as they forcefully dragged him back to the room, then, pushed him in. He stumbled in, almost falling, but, he caught himself. His eyes scanned the room as he took in his environment, before speaking. "What's wrong, you guys..?" He asked, his eyes going to Karla, then Zero, then, last but not least, Ember. He blinked, running his fingers through his dark brown hair before biting his lip.
[[ @????????? - That's fine. And same, Tangle. I was trying to get on last night to check this really quickly, but, FH was down. I'm happy I'm not the only one who experienced that. ^.^; ]]

Madeline Mcleod
Madeline clenched her fists as the men in white approached her. They each had a syringe in their hands with a thin, sharp needle and each syringe had a strange purple fluid inside. Maddy was used to the injections by now, but this one looked different. She tried to pull her hands out of the leather straps that were holding her down, but it only resulted in the 'doctors' laughing cruelly at her. They were now only a few paces away from her and one of them was counting down from five "Four, three, two, one." They all lunged forward at the same time, Maddy shuddered as she felt the seven needles piercing the skin on her arm. And then, nothing. All she saw was darkness, it was crushing her down as if it was drowning her. She woke up to a piercing pain in her head, and she was thrown into the familiar room. She blinked at the bright lights and recognised four others in the room, she faintly smiled and collapsed against the wall. Her head felt like it was about to explode and her hands were uncontrollably shaking, although she felt different and somehow stronger. A single tear ran down her cheek but she quickly wiped it away, not wanting to show any signs of weakness.
She raised her head to see Ember get up and hitting the door, pleading anyone that was outside the door. Maddy nodded in agreement "This is insane. I don't see what's the point of us being in here. I mean, all we're doing is getting used to experiments.. Surely, there has to be a better way for this." Ember said. Maddy jumped as Alex stumbled in, he asked what was wrong but she stayed silent, her throat was burning so that it hurt to even breathe.

"Get up," a voice yelled through Trek's door, making the twin stare up from the floor. Furniture and other such luxuries were not supplied here at this experimentation lab. Only a hard, cold, concrete floor greeted Trek every night and, according to his twin, the situation was similar in the next room. "Trek," the same man said and a computer monotone voice replied with, "Confirmed." The door then slid open to allow Trek the great beauty of the blinding lights from the hallway. "C'mon. You have a busy day ahead of you," the man told him with a smirk. Trek's eyes wandered to the nametag and he spoke to his brother through a mental link that was put in about a week ago according to charts they had peeked at. /I've got Mr. Rodney Irwin. You?/ Axel laughed through the line and replied, /Rodney? Great name for a weirdo scientist, eh? I've got.../ There was a pause as Axel's name was said and the computer replied and opened the door. A much more hesitant scientist had walked into the room. /A Mr. Jeffrey Summins. Poor Jeff looks scared out of his wits. Must be a newbie,/ Axel replied, smiling a little at Jeffrey which calmed the man a little. "New on the job," Axel asked. Jeff nodded. "Don't worry. Soon you'll be as cynical as everyone else," he said though this didn't seem to calm the man's nerves in the slightest. If Mr. Summins didn't act the way he did, his new person status would have been deduced quickly by his lack of muscle and his general welcoming look. That would probably be gone within the next month. "To the lab, then," Axel suggested, turning around. There was enough of a pause to make Axel question how much they had told this man for this job. "You're supposed to cuff me," he whispered as if giving him a hint in a game. "Oh, right," Jeff sputtered out, reaching for the handcuffs at his waist and putting them on Axel before leading him down the hallway. Usually Axel was greeted with the sight of his brother by now but, what with Jeff's hesitancy, there was no such luck.
Trek was brought into the main waiting room for the lab only to be greeted with the sight of several people gaining their power. Trek had been given his about three weeks ago, once again known by peeking at charts. /A bunch of new ones in here,/ he told Axel, though the sighting was quick as Trek was dragged through another set of doors to a hallway that led to many experimentation rooms. "Where we off to today," he said aloud though he was hit in the back of the head for the careless speech. "Oh," he muttered as he was faced with a room he hadn't yet dealt with and, by the looks of it, it seemed to be a torture room. His shirt was pulled off of him and his warm back soon met the freezing lab table, making him arch off of it the best he could as his arms, legs, and head were strapped down. A strap was then put over his mouth, a confusing new move courtesy of Rodney. Two more scientists entered the room, clipboards in hand as they were ready to write down the results of this experiment. An electric pulse was then sent through Trek's system, a test to see if his pain would transfer to his brother through the mental link.
Axel basically led the confused scientist to the waiting room, though they both stopped as a girl knocked on the door and asked to be let out. "Wait. She'll leave. I did the same thing when I first got my mutation," Axel said in a hushed voice. It never hurt to be nice to a new scientist. They could remember the kindness after they had become more cynical and might offer some mercy in future experiments. As footfalls were heard on the opposite side, the girl likely curling up in a ball somewhere, Jeff scanned his card, allowing entry to the room. Axel helped by cloning himself and opening the door with the clone's free hands. The move startled Jeffrey, who promptly held onto the handcuffs binding Axel. "So, there's really no point in binding you, is there?" Axel shook his head and, as soon as the door was closed, he was let out of his handcuffs. "What's the plan for today, Jeffy? Mental link strengthening? Clone testing- Oh, that reminds me," Axel said, looking to his clone and letting it disappear. Jeffrey, looking at his chart, shook his head. "No, no. I'm just supposed to see how you're feeling, but keep you in here," he explained and Axel raised his eyebrows in surprise. "All right." The twin then looked around the room to see several new experiments, as his brother had warned him about. Sitting on an arm of one of the uncomfortable, bolted down chairs at the center of the room, Axel watched as each person had a different reaction to the medication, two of the boys seeming to take it upon themselves to watch over the girls. Jeff suddenly began to scribble down something and Axel gave him a confused look. "Oh, um, your hands," Jeffrey struggled to explain and Axel then seemed to notice the death grip being given to the chair's arm, a subconscious reaction to pain. "Feel anything?" Axel shook his head with hesitation. "Not really. Just a tingle in my bod-" He winced as they had increased the voltage being delivered through Trek's system. "Yeah. I feel it now," Axel grimaced.
Jeffrey looked a little disturbed as he continued to copy down what was happening and then looked at another scientist standing near one of the doors. "Could you tell Mr. Irwin that the experiment was a success and that we can stop testing it now?" The scientist laughed and Axel shook his head. "They're just gonna keep going," Axel muttered, the veins in his hands beginning to show as his circulation was cut off by holding onto the chair too tightly. As the results remained constant, Jeff went to reach out to Axel, probably to comfort him in some way before being cut off by the scientist he had been talking to. "Summons! Need I remind you of the number one rule," the scientist seethed, but Jeff looked a little confused. "I'm not establishing an emotional connect-" He was quickly cut off by his impatient superior, "By comforting him you establish one. Now hands off and do your work." The young scientist flinched and returned his hand to the clipboard. "Sorry," he muttered in Axel's direction and the twin only nodded, knowing the rules for awhile. The voltage was increased again and Axel now gave a small whimper. /Axel,/ Trek's voice was a sobbing cry on the other end of their link and Axel frowned at it. /I'm sorry, One. It'll be over soon,/ Axel soothed, falling into the uncomfortable chair as he now just had fists clenched in pain. This new position was enough to have Jeff's grief filled eyes off of him for a minute or two as the scientist wrote this down. /Over soon?/ The words were short as Trek was probably having a hard time thinking with the pain that Axel was only getting a piece of. /Two may or may not have swiped something from dear old Jeffy,/ Axel replied, tensing as another degree was added to the voltage. /Poor Jeffy,/ Trek replied with a cry.
After the dosage was increased, yet again, the twins both relaxed fully as the pain was taken. Axel, only a little drained, sprawled himself lazily across the chair and let his arm dangle behind him onto the next chair. Trek had to practically be dragged from the torture room to the waiting room, tears still wet on his face. Unlocked from his cuffs, he was shoved roughly to the ground, a move Jeffrey flinched at. "Welcome to paradise, Number One," Axel said, eyes still closed as he heard the thud near him. "Thanks, Two," Trek muttered, a bit of sarcasm in his tone. "How do you feel, Trek," Mr. Irwin asked flatly, readying to write the response. "Oh, just dandy, doc. How are you," Trek muttered into the floor, making Axel smile a little. A sharp kick was given to Trek's side and the twin grunted. "I will ask again. How do you feel, Trek. No exaggerations or smart remarks," Mr. Irwin instructed. "Nauseous, dehydrated, and exhausted," Trek said, flipping over onto his back and sitting up with some effort. /Bonus points for using doctor-y terms,/ Axel praised with a chuckle in their heads. "And you, Axel?" Jeff's nervous voice made Axel open his eyes. "The same but at a lower degree," he replied simply. Jeffrey looked a little lost as he looked over at Trek. /Think he missed your answer,/ Axel thought, making Trek immediately look back at his twin. "Really? You feel nauseous, dehydrated, and exhausted, too?" The disbelief in Trek's voice was obviously exaggerated and Axel smiled at him. Jeff took the clue, though, and wrote down what Trek had listed off as his symptoms. The twins were soon left alone and Jeff took the place of the impatient scientist at the door, left with the instruction to let no patient speak to him- only scientists. By this point, Trek had gained some energy and lifted himself off the ground to sit in the chair beside his brother's sprawled out body. /Going to socialize. You coming?/ Axel's question was met with Trek shaking his head and the younger twin got off his chair and walked around.
"This is insane. I don't see what's the point of us being in here. I mean, all we're doing is getting used to experiment. Surely, there has to be a better way for this," a girl spoke up, not the first time in this waiting room someone wanted to rebel. Axel shook his head. He and his brother were probably out of the youngest in this room yet they seemed to have been there the longest. "The point of us being here is to test and see if these experiments would be useful in the modern society. They don't have humanoid text experiments so we're the second choice until they can make a substitute. Of course they're not going to put too much effort into it since using us isn't a big deal since we're pretty disposable," Axel reasoned, though his eyes immediately focused on the boy and girl in the corner speaking of death. "Not saying you're going to die. Most of you were injected with your 'power' today and your body is just trying to cope with something it isn't familiar with. And by power I mean-" A clone of his body appeared beside the girl who had pounded on the door and retreated to the corner. "This," the clone finished. The clone soon enough vanished and Axel soon looked around the room. Jeff's card was still was in his back pocket, ready to be used once everyone had their strength. Trek had been mapping this building out in this head since they arrived and now Axel had that map in his mind as well. With Jeff standing at the door, it was an easy escape but still a dangerous one. Axel looked at the room of new experiments. "Some of you might not feel it yet but that may be because you're more relaxed and your body wants to accept the change. That means, for those of you feeling that have that slight fever, try to calm down as much as you can," he advised.

Karla Amanda Rodriguez Karla recognised the figures of Ember,Zero and Madeline,she felt relieved that they came back alive,althought not in a perfect state,thanks to the scientists' work.Zero checked Kar her temperature and confirmed her that she had a fever and she just needed some rest that hopefully will ease the headache,and took a sit next to her. "Thanks...she said to him for helping her.Ember and Zero's encouragement was also helping her get past the thoughts of giving up, and keep going on.She took a deep breath,trying to ignore the headache,because the more she was thinking of it,the more it hurt.Karla felt different since the moment she was injected,it was a sign that those substances have possibly done their job,althought the results were still to be found out.She leaned her head on Zero's shoulder,watching the other's movements.She saw Ember getting up and approaching the door,hitting it,begging for someone to let them out."They don't care about us,all they want is to make us suffer,or so it seems.I've never met living beings so ruthless like them before..."she said and continued."I...keep thinking of a way to escape...but this place is full of guards....still,we can't give up.I know we'll make it...eventually."What Ember said about the point of them being here was right.None of them really knew what were these experiments for and why did exactly had to be them the ones to test the substances.Karla heard the door open again and didn't knew how to react if a guard was to show up but thankfully,it turned out to be Alex,who seemed confused to see all the changes that took place in the room before he was taken to the experiment room and asked them what was going on."A visit to the "doctor"...."was Karla's only reply.
She began to feel a little better,perhaps because the body got used to the substances.Two new boys that appeared to be twins were brought into the room,and hearing Ember's words,one of them replied and told them about these substances that are to be used in the modern society and how they're using teens as experiments.It all sounded insane thought.They also explained that the pain they were feeling wasn't leading to death,but was gaining them "powers" and proved it.Karla raised her head and got amased seeing as a clone of that boy appeared behind Ember.The twins were planning a way to escape,much to their happiness,althought it wasn't sure if they were going to succeed.

Alex blinked, looking at Zero before shrugging and sitting down. "To tell you guys the truth.. I feel absolutely fine. I feel like I could do anything I wanted.. I mean, I have some burst of energy in me." The male replied, running his fingers through his dark hair before looking at Ember. "Also.. Ember.. You look.. Hot.. I mean, not hot.. but.. Like.. Okay.. Like, hot in a bad way." He stuttered, biting his lip before getting up and touching her forehead. "You feel hotter than you look.." He muttered before getting the girl to sit down. After that, he looked at the twins.
"Exactly.. What do you mean.. 'Powers'..? That sounds insane," Alex said, confused. He then touched Ember's forehead again. "I mean.. Why would they wanna give us powers..?" He kept his hand on Ember's forehead, then sighed. Her temperature just keeps getting hotter and hotter by the minute.. Maybe she needs to cool down.. I mean.. A fever shouldn't go that high.. He thought to himself before sighing. "Also, Ember.. Your body temperature is getting hotter by the second. You need to cool down somehow."

Ember looked at the boy who made her sit down before touching her forehead. "I know. I feel it. I feel like I'm on fire.." The brunette breathed out before looking at the twins. "Is it hot in here..? Or is it just me..?" She asked, taking the coat off and fanning herself before whining. "I feel dizzy..." The girl whispered before looking at Alex. She closed her eyes, leaning against the wall as she continued to fan herself. Her cheeks were flushed, and, she felt herself begin to warm up more and more. Then, she opened her eyes and looked at Alex, who seemed to be startled. She then looked at the twins before blinking. "Okay.. So, powers.. You say..? Well then.. I'm screwed," Ember whined, hiding her face in her hands. I feel like I'm going to end up melting.. She thought to herself, then, removed her hands that hid her face and looked back at the twins. "Also.. You two wanna escape.. How..?! I'm fully up for it, but, I wanna make sure your plan isn't stupid."

Madeline listened to the twin's explanation with her eyes closed, it hurt to open them as if the lights were far too bright and the room seemed to get smaller as more people were thrown in. She had a faint memory of something to do with claustrophobia, but pushed that aside. Her eyes fluttered open to see Zero sit next to her, a gentle smile on his lips. She smiled faintly and closed her eyes again, listening to his soothing words. "You'll be fine. I've got you. Try and take deep breaths with me." He began to breathe more slowly and deeply, she did the same and her throat burned in protest but she kept her focus on Zero's touch. It seemed to leave a soothing trail behind it, like it was cooling it down. Maddy opened her eyes again, they weren't as sore as they were before, but she could tell something was different about them. "My eyes..." She whispered to Zero, "They don't feel right."
She tried to catch up on what the others were talking about. The twins had said something about powers, but what would we need powers for? "I mean... Why would they wanna give us powers..?" Alex asked, speaking out what everyone was thinking. Madeline sat up straighter, her knees were still curled up against her chest but she was now more relaxed. "Also.. You two wanna escape.. How..?! I'm fully up for it, but, I wanna make sure your plan isn't stupid." Ember added, everyone's eyes seemed to be on the twins now and for the first time in what seemed like years, Madeline actually was hopeful.

Axel tensed as the others spoke of an escape. He hadn't voiced one yet, had he? Trek was now sitting straight up in his chair, more alert as Jeffrey began to tense up at the mentions of escape. "Also, you two wanna escape. How? I'm fully up for it, but I wanna make sure your plan isn't stupid." Jeffrey reached for his walkie talkie. The scientist wouldn't be able to take all these kids if there was a riot. Axel frowned and a clone grabbed Jeff's wrist. "It's okay, Jeff, no plans for escape for today. The changing process makes you a little loopy is all," Axel's clone explained with a nervous chuckle as the real Axel glared at the others and held a finger to his lips for them to hush up and quickly. "Jeffrey, are you all right in there? We see on our security cameras that one of the experiments has grabbed your wrist," a voice sounded over his walkie talkie. The clone released his wrist and disappeared as Axel looked over at the cameras located in the four corners. The device bleeped as Jeff replied, "Yeah. I'm fine." The device returned to his side and he crossed his arms, looking back and forth between the twins. Axel began to move towards the blonde boy who had spoken of becoming numb while Trek decided to make use of himself and check on this girl that was burning up.
It seemed that the boy was trying to care for the other girl burning of a fever, the boy checking her pulse. "I'm Axel. My brother's Trek," he informed them. "Both of you just lay down, relax," he muttered, bending his knee and lowering his head to block his face from the one camera that could read his lips. A clone soon appeared to the other group that Trek was in, repeating the same words that Axel did, also hiding his mouth from view by ducking down. "They gave us powers for probably reasons of war and violence or possibly to better humanity. Whatever the reason behind it, I'd rather not question it if we have a chance of escaping. We'll get out of here when we can, but not until everyone has healed. The more powers we have on our side, the better. Hopefully you guys snap out of this quickly or else we'll be forced to think of a new plan. I have that guard's card in my pocket to escape, but they search us for stolen objects before putting us back into our holding cells. Until a few of you break from this state, we're not leaving," he reiterated before standing up and letting the clone fade out as he took a seat on the other side of the girl, his eyes looking from Jeffrey to the cameras to the doors as he let the two beside him sort out their issues. Unless he was asked to help, he would let them deal with this so long as they didn't lash out. If anyone started to act up, they would likely be sent back to their cell. It was why their plan was so quietly being prepared.
After his brother's clone had finished telling of their plans, Trek put a hand to the girl's head. "You are burning up," he confirmed, though the girl probably did not need to be told this as she likely felt it. His touch was cold, the spider genetics put into him making it more difficult to adapt to temperature changes. The atmosphere was still cool to him so his body would likely stay this way for awhile, making him remain cool despite the fact her forehead was blazing. He remained quiet as he pulled his hand away and moved to her feet, removing her shoes. Realizing he may be questioned for doing this, he looked over at her. "Feet are the heat controls of the body. If your feet are hot, you're hot. Likewise, if your feet are cold, you should begin to cool," he reasoned, leaving her barefoot as his cold hands touched her feet. His eyes remained on her feet, likely not meeting her eyes for most of this since he naturally avoided eye contact with his peers.
[Ember can kick Trek away or just tell him to leave her alone. He's not exactly socially comfortable so he's just resorting to what she needs health-wise instead of what might be socially acceptable]

Lynx Trudeau
Lynx had already got her injections for today, she was one of the first to get experimented on. She remembered the scientists saying "I think we got it this time. This is one big step for mankind!" Lynx didn't know what they were talking about, nor did she care. Lynx felt terrible, she actually felt like she was dying. Her body was hotter than ever, her eyesight was blurred and her hearing was fuzzy, her limbs were also shaking uncontrollably. She would say she was sued to this but this was different, every other injection she ever got never did this to her. She could faintly hear the others talking, but she couldn't make out what they were saying. Lynx just stared at the plain white wall as she lay in the fetal position in the back of the room that housed the 'experiments'. She was hoping the pain and fever would go away but it's been more than an hour now and it was only getting worse. Her fingers twitched rapidly and she had a major headache, a small groan left her mouth as her shaking hands went to her ears "What's wrong with me?" she said through clenched teeth. Her fingers dug into her hair and scalp as the pain worsened, she bit down as hard as she could. Why wouldn't it stop? The pain was so unbearable, she hoped she would just die.
Lynx put her hands back to her chest, her heartbeat had slowed but it didn't feel normal. Lynx whined then rolled over to face the others, she could only see shapes and colors, she blinked multiple times but it didn't help. With a groan she rolled back over to face the wall, trying to focus on her friends was making her headache worse.Lynx squeezed her eyes shut, the light was beginning to hurt her eyes, the white walls weren't making it any better. Lynx decide to try to calm her mind, if she stayed calm maybe her body would slowly start to feel better, this was just a theory. Finally, she was able to fall asleep. She had a wonderful dream, she and her friends were free and were all living a normal happy life. In her dream they had never been experimented on, they were always happy and always having fun. Lynx's dream was interrupted by a sudden pain in her stomach, she squeezed her abdomen with her hands "What..is..that?" she said to herself as she began to sit up. She pressed her back against the wall and was surprised when the area in front of her was clear, and her hearing had returned. But her hands and head still hurt, but not as bad as before. She must have been out awhile, no one had said anything so they must have already said what they needed to while she was sleeping. She sighed then sat up straight she knew they had to get out of here, this was no way for them to live. She looked at the others "We can't stay here anymore..We gotta get out."

Karla Amanda Rodriguez Karla kept listening carefully to Axel's explanations.She didn't seemed pleased with the part of gaining powers,this would totally change them from the ordinary humans they were to who knows what mutants,and this was the perfect reason for the scientists to do more tests on them.At any cost,they coudln't think right now of escaping,not untill the others completely acquaired their abbilities."Could our powers be related to the pains or fevers we have?"she said,hoping her question wasn't a stupid one."We all seem to feel almost differently..."she continued.
The sound of guards walking in the corridor could be heard everywhere in the room they were,some peace and quiet would do just great to redeem themselves,and it wasn't their footsteps the bother,it was their annoying laughs and loud chatting atleast Karla's problem,if by any chance she could tell them to stop and listen to her,that would be great.

Ember Hadley
Ember blinked, and felt her cheeks turn red. "This is the most awkward thing on the face of the planet.. Just.. Stop." She gently kicked him away and put her shoes back on. "It didn't reall help, either. I still feel hot," Ember whispered, shaking her blush away before looking at Karla. "Yes, that could possibly be it.. Look, we need to crack down these side-effects, and try to figure out what the power we'll have will be. There has to be something linking up to the side-effects with the powers." She said, trying to make that sound as logical as possible. "Then, once we find out what our powers are, we'll be able to figure out a way to combined them all together, and make each one of them compatible with another, causing us to be stronger when we break out, so, we can't get caught. Make sense..?" She looked at the others, biting her lip.
"Look.. I might be very confusing at the moment, but.. I might be actually talking logical." She said, then bit her lip harder. "I mean, we need to know our powers before we plan a way out, giving us enough time to rest," Ember nodded her head, then looked at Trek and Axel again... "Oh, I almost forgot to introduce myself. I'm Ember." She nodded, fanning herself again. Her eyes then moved from the twins over to Zero and Madeline.

Alex blinked, looking at Ember. "Actually.. Ember, that kind of made sense.." He said, running his hands through his dark hair before examining the girl. "If we do find what everyone's powers are.. Then we could find ways to make them all work together to become stronger when escaping." He said, nodding his head slowly as he repeated what Ember had said in his mind. "It sounds pretty logical to me.." He shrugged.

Madeline looked into Zero's eyes as he examined them, trying not to blush. "Nothing's in them." He stated, smiling and turning to face the others. She blinked a few times and rubbed her forehead, something was definitely not right. She glanced at Ember, who seemed to be getting warmer by the second. She then turned her gaze to Zero, he looked uncomfortable and deep in thought. She looked around the room and watched how everyone was reacting to slight sounds or sudden pains. She hadn't really been listening to what the others were saying when she noticed Jeffrey standing away from the others, she frowned at the thought of the scientists knowing of their plans of escape and pulled a hand through her hair in frustration. The pain in her throat was beginning to fade away and she could talk without gasping for air now. Madeline looked back at Zero again and met his gaze "What do they feel like?" He asked. She thought for a moment and answered "Sort of like... They are changing, almost burning." She said a little bit louder "What colour are they?" She quickly added, just to make sure.
