Game Help / Written Map Installing Tutorial Please

Hey, I made a new map but it has more then just the map it's self as this time I got more advanced and added custom music to the map, height maps, and used various objects I have download from mesh creators. I would like a simple and easy to understand written tutorial on how to install maps and where to put certain files in map zips so that I can add folders saying things like "To Objects" "To music" ect. for easier to understand installation so the people who download my map don't have too tough a time figuring it out. However it seems most map installing tutorials are video and me personally I find the video tutorials for map installing rather annoying as most people who make feral heart tutorials do not speak and explain stuff and leave you stuck reading their poor writing in notepad trying to explain it through typing. Now please do not take this personally if you are one of the people who tutorials this way, I personally just don't like them, so please understand I am not trying to offend anyone by what I just said. Anyways even though I usually prefer video tutorials, feral heart is one of the rare occasions I would prefer just a good old fashioned written tutorial that is step by step and well explained. Can someone please find one for me if possible and link it, thanks!

Game Help / Map Making Help and Older Version of Blender needed.

Okay so I have been making maps for a while on this game and I love doing it, but for a while now I have been wanting to get into making my own meshes as well, now I have some experience with blender but I can not seem to figure out how to get my version of it to work with FeralHeart. I have 2.79 and all the tutorials are saying use 2.59, most likely because these tutorials are rather outdated and I have tried looking for a download link for blender 2.59 instead, but their website does not seem to host downloads of older versions. I will be willing to download the old version if that would make it less of a choir to get started with creating my own mesh and exporting them into a FeralHeart compatible file.

Now python and ogre are a whole other ball game, when I go to ogre their website layout is rather confusion and I don't see the necessary version for the program anywhere when I look for it on there, most tutorials tell me to select one that they do not seem to have anymore.

Now on to Python, Python 3 does not seem to exist anymore since all the tutorial links seem to be broken and take you to a ERROR: # page and it does not have anything to do with python half of the time. I really need some good help to get the necessary programs to do this, I have been wanting to make my own meshes ever since I seen the amazing things other people make on DA and since I figured out how to model using Blender. Please help I am tired of going on a wild goose chase for this stuff and then downloading things that don't work and basically just take up space on my computer until I delete everything related to it.

I will appreciate close to any information on how it is that I do this and what to do so I can finally fulfill one of my goals and try making my own cool meshes for FeralHeart. Thank you all and I await a reply!

Game Help / Help with Color Masks.

Okay so I am great at making color masks for my maps so the problem is not HOW to make color masks, the problem instead is about layers of color. So let me try explaining a bit, there are three base color layers Red (1st layer), Green (2nd layer), and Blue (3rd layer), but I once heard somewhere that you could in fact use more then 3 layers for the color mask, if this is true can some one please tell me what the OTHER 3 colors are for the other color layers? Apparently according to this one thing I watched when I was learning how to make color masks they said there is actually a total of 6 layers though the secondary 3 colors layers have a glitch where they will glow and expressed how they hope it will be fixed soon. So my question is what is the colors to use for the second 3 color layers in the mask, if Red, Green, and Blue are the first set of 3, what are the second set of 3? Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

Welp apparently this is my addiction as of late, making bases and then creating different character designs out of them XD Anyways this is my pack from a manga I wrote a long time ago about wolves, the pack I called Bloodmoon Pack (Yeah I know not very unique but still badass sounding XD) Anyways these are the adult members of the pack, you have the Alpha pair and their two kids Luna and Shade, and then you have the rest of the unrelated pack members of the pack. Please do not steal, copy, trace, parody, or do anything with these characters without my promission, thank you. I will give a explanation on the ranks below the picture to help you guys out if you are unfamiliar with some of these ranks.

Alphas: Leaders of the pack and the dominant pair.

Alphablood: Wolf of pure Alpha blood (the child of the alpha male and female) though not their heir.

Alpha's Heir: The chosen child of the alphas that will take over the pack when their parents retire or pass away.

Healer: The shaman or medic for the pack who treats the members for illnesses and injuries by using herbs.

Beta: The Alpha's right hand and the second in command shall they need help leading the pack.

Delta: Lead hunter and the most skilled in the art of hunting.

Omega: The lowest ranking member of the pack and the least respected.

Hey guys, I was bored and I wanted to practice my shading and designing so I made these bases! I am sharing them with you guys just to get bit of feedback on how I did, usually I don't make bases, though I do enjoy making them because then I can use the same bases to make different characters! PLEASE NOTE! These bases and the character designs are not free to use to the public, so please do not trace them or anything, ask permission before doing anything with these bases, thanks!

Discussion Board / What is it that some people have against roleplayers...

I just joined a community somewhere and it seemed all fine until I joined there chat and mentioned roleplay... Then I felt like everyone was attacking me for enjoying roleplay, I did not want to start with anyone so I just left, but it is hurtful how much hate I got for just asking if there is a roleplay channel in the group. Like I have seen people hate on others for being emo, being gay, and so on, but just liking roleplay? I guess I forgot some people misunderstand roleplayers and hate on them for no reason, since I roleplay with people online so much, these people did not really seem to understand it... One person would not shut up about how cringy it was, another person said they hated it because they use to do it with their ex or someone they were attracted to, another acted like it was for kids... I guess I forgot how rude and ignorant people can be about certain things, it was pretty clear to me that people did not seem to understand it, so that upsets me that the reason they hate it is because they don't understand it. You can't hate someone or something just because you think it is only -Removed by Moderator- or some crap like that... I need some help here, I am upset and I just was reminded one of the reasons I hate people...

I suck at poetry but oh well I have to right my feelings somewhere so I will hopefully feel better. I don't know of what to title this so sorry that my "poem" has no official title...

Why do I care, it only tears deeper, where are the ones who should be there.

I just wanted to say that sorry I have not been active lately, I have been taking a bit of a break from Feral Heart and the Forums to some degree. I have been trying to play some of my other games since when I spend so much time on Feral Heart and WolfQuest I neglect my other games and eventually I want to play those games all the time for a bit, but no worries I am sure I will become really active like I usually am eventually, just taking a break! Thanks :3

If any of my friends on FeralHeart were wondering where I have been hopefully this answers that, see you all!
