Post by: CreamWolf on November 03, 2012, 06:46:48 pm: The floof-o-meter was implemented as a means to replace the karma feature that was on the forum before. It's pretty much like a reputation gauge. cx Doesn't change your forum experience though, so it's not something crucial.

Its just for fun! c: Once you hit 25 posts, you can nuzzle others.

Like Decessei Stated above, It used to be named "karma" though, before people could "bite" you to show if you've done something wrong.. This time, no one can bite, only nuzzle, so that no one gets their feelings hurt and such. Also, Floof-o-meter seems a bit more relaxful and fun!

Any board that is not related to FH (e.g. General Discussion, Forum Games etc) will not add to your post count.

Users often reward other users with a nuzzle for good reasons as the others here have explained. Although I will point out that it doesn't reflect exactly how good or helpful a person is though so even if a person doesn't have so much it doesn't mean they are any less helpful or kind then say some user that might have it higher. It's just like likes on Facebook, in the end it's just a number.
