Title: Name Generators?

Do you ever use any name generating websites to find a name for your characters, groups, maps, or any other creations on this game? If so, which generators do you like to use?

Me personally, I like to use https://www.fantasynamegenerators.com to generate names for my characters. This website can generate many names for characters, places, and descriptions, whether it's fantasy or realistic, or for fandoms. I use this website to give me ideas for naming characters or for naming any maps I make in the FH mapmaker.

Do you have a preferred name generator?

I prefer that name generator too, its potion descriptions inspired me to create a witch's hut map which is still WIP as I work on other maps at the same time. But I generally make up my own names and create a new character when a name pops into my head, I use the generator if I create a good-looking character but I forget I have to name the character until the look is finished. My characters' names are a mix of generated and thought up.

I also like https://www.fantasynamegen.com/ (https://www.fantasynamegen.com/) as it's similar, but it provides a lot less types of names to choose from.

Fantasy Name Generator is definitely a favorite of mine. I also use 2000names (http://www.20000-names.com/) quite a bit. It's good if you're looking for certain meanings or name origins.

Name generators could present you with some new ideas you hadn’t previously considered.
Sometimes it’s just nice to have a name on hand that you use from time to time because you like the sound of it.

Never thought of a name generator for characters before...would have been helpful lol
I know back in my younger, cringy days I used Google translate and did the whole Japanese names. Now I just think of a name, most are pretty plain and others are kinda like easter eggs to the character.

fantasy name generators + 20000 names are what I use the most
fantasy name generators for most, 20000 names if I need names w/ meaning included
ex; I used fantasy name generators for a name I needed for a leviathan/sea monster, and I used 20000 names for a latin/greek name for my merman, Pegasus, as the meaning has something to do w/ water n springs
