Title: Signature Gif Doesn't Work! [Solved]

I posted my gif through Imgur and posted the link here, but the gif DOESN'T MOVE! Can you only post images and not gifs? The threads regarding signatures say images AND gifs, but MY GIF WON'T MOVE! It just shows as an image!

If i click on that image it shows as a .gif video instad of a regular .gif.  That might be a key difference.

Adding onto what Kuri said, just delete the "v" at the end of your url to fix this problem.
So instead of ".gifv" it will display as ".gif"

Can you send me the link to the image you're trying to make a gif? I can try and get it to work for ya and send you the code and such!

Guys if you use quote from GigglesTheHyena's post, you'll be able to use the link she used for the GIF.
She used this:

[img]https://i.imgur.com/tDYy7AAm.gif?1[/img]@GigglesTheHyena, if you remove the ?1 at the end of the link, it should be able to render a normal GIF that you're asking for.
Here's what I mean:

[img]https://i.imgur.com/tDYy7AAm.gif[/img]But perhaps you should try and re-upload it on Imgur again to get a new `fresh´ BBCode,
since I just tested the above code out, and it gave me an image:

The .gifs that I have worked with on Imgur that are actually a .gifv, i've been able to remove the "v" at the end of the URL to get it to work on these forums because video embedding doesn't work on these forums. But like the others here, I tried out your .gif and it doesn't seem to be working, it seems to be frozen.
     I have to second what Ellen suggested. Perhaps find the same gif from a different website or re-upload that gif to imgur as a .gif file if you can convert it.

I went to imgur, posted the gif again, and on imgur, it moves, but when I select the BB Link for forums and message boards, copy it, and paste it here, it doesn't move. I don't think gifs even work here. I think it's only images that can be posted.
