Title: How to put an image in on the Art thread?
Post by: Kookly on August 22, 2018, 03:44:02 am
I recently attempted to place an image in the Art thread on the Forums, and nothing showed up.
I'd like to show my art but it won't let me and I believe I'm doing it wrong.
How do I put the art in the img and /img thing?

do [img] and then insert a url inbetween the two
end it with the same [img] command with with a / before the img

Adding onto Jango's post above, Imgur.com is an excellent source for generating a new URL code for your image. (Sadly, the forums do not allow you to upload pictures directly from your computer to your posts.) To upload to Imgur, upload the picture from their New Post button on their homepage, move your cursor over the image and select the down arrow, then click "Get share links," and copy the BBCode it gives you; you can paste that directly onto the forum here. c:

The code for your image should look something like this:
Code: [Select]
[img]URLHERE[/img]

Would Gyazo work, too?

It should! I'm not very familiar with Gyazo myself, but as long as it provides you an option to create a new URL, it should do the trick. c:

Yes, but you will have to right click on it and open the image in a new tab. It has to end in a .png or a .jpg[or .gif] in order to work. I know gyazo by default doesn't until you right click.
