Favorite movies
Some people don't like watching movies at all, but MOST do!
And those who like watching movies has got to have one or two favorite films that they love!
So let me ask you guys...

What's your favorite movie(s)?

Please share! I was thinking that we, members FH, might even get to know each other better by getting insight one another's movie preferences!

Bonus question (optional), what's your favorite movie genre(s) and why? :)

Genre: Science-Fiction, Action

This has by far been my most favorite movie since it aired in the theaters!!
I absolutely love their movie concept, where they have come up with all kinds of creatures that are so beautiful with their colorful and unique features <3
The story and characters are o.n p.o.i.n.t as well! The main character of the movie is a guy who lost the feel of his legs due to a war that he fought back on earth, and then on Pandora he gets the chance to run again and feel free by agreeing to the avatar program where he was allowed to possess this tall blue human alien that can do more things than a human being! How cool is that?! and that's just one of the characters :P

Pirates of the Caribbean
Genres: Adventure, Fantasy, Action

What can I say? Pirates are awesome!! All they care about is freedom, and of course treasures ;)
This movie is what made pirates cool.
I love the effort that the director has put into the characters, and Jack Sparrow is of course my favorite.
Johnny Depp plays the role of Jack Sparrow like he gave his LIFE for it!
I also love how they come up with all the crazy wild and funny fighting scenes throughout this franchise. The scene where Will Turner, Jack Sparrow and James Norrington fight to get Davy Jones' heart, is just pure genius. It's happening on a WATERMILL WHEEL!!
How does one come up with a brilliant idea like that, instead of a plain sword fight on the ground? :D

 I don't really watch many movies but my all time favorite movie would have to be A Clockwork Orange. I absolutely love the metaphorical meaning behind it as well as the eccentric use of violence and artwork. It's a perfect movie in my eyes and I've watched it three times over. Kubrick is a master.
Actually, I lied. Because I have a few more favorite movies that would be The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse bride. They are both childhood films that I have found memories of (I remember seeing Corpse Bride with my mother when I was 5 and clung to it ever since)
I also am a fan of Ju On/The Grudge due to its storyline and Yurei characters.

I think my favourite movie has to be the very first Jurassic Park
I also like the Harry Potter movies and a load of different Disney movies like the Lion King

I adore Marvel and Disney the most. But I also enjoy any horror movies, Tim Burton movies, the Pirates of the Caribbean series, the Fast and Furious series, and the Pitch Perfect series, as well as many others. I'm a big film buff.

LOVE Inglourious Basterds.
My favorites would have to be Coraline, Carol, Tell it to the Bees, Deadpool, and most of Pixar's library (love me some Brad Bird).

in no particular order, treasure planet, 9, the road to el dorado, isle of dogs, the httyd trilogy, kung fu panda 1+2, 12 angry men, rango, tlk 1+2, alita; battle angel, spiderverse, surf's up, the incredibles, avengers; endgame, gotg1+2, the lion, the witch and the wardrobe..
that's top of my head stuff. sure there's more but i'm a little scrambled.

I don't have a favorite genre per se, I just...like what I like mainly lol

I absolutely love Edward Scissor Hands. It's a very odd movie- but I like very odd things lmao Pirates of the Caribbean series, HTTYD movies, 9, The Polar Express, The Iron Giant. There's many more to name but I can't think of them right now pff.

I love the horror, surreal and action genres of film!

Some of my favorite films are Us, No Country for Old Men, Hanna (2011), Get Out, Inception, The Thing, Housebound, The visit, the Alien series, Train to Busan, ect.

I liked it too.

I struggle to think of any movies i like that are 'normal'. 
Some are from over 100 years ago & have no sound.
