Kieva's Missing FeralHeart Default Files Thread

Do you have these types of errors when you open FeralHeart?

Just ask for the file here and I'll upload it to Mediafire and give it to you!
1. Click the pictures to find the fixes to the errors!
2. If you cannot find the fix to the missing or cannot find... file just ask for it in this thread!
3. Messed up a file? Need a new one? Ask away! I can upload those too.
Error Fixes
Temp File Fix.
Copy both temp files, right click FeralHeart click Open file location, click media, click terrains and paste it in the Terrains folder.

Klang Fix.
Right click the FeralHeart Icon, click Open File location, copy the Klang file you just downloaded and paste it into the FeralHeart folder.

Resources Fix.
Right click the FeralHeart Icon. click Open File Location, copy the resources file you just downloaded and paste it into the FeralHeart folder.

OgreMain.dll Fix.
Right click the FeralHeart Icon. Click open file location, copy the ogre file you just downloaded and paste it into the FeralHeart folder.

Here's a Tip for ya!
If you have Windows Vista XP as your computer program- and want to copy or paste a file... Highlight the file, press Crtl and C at the same time to copy it. Go to where you want to paste it and press Crtl and V to pase it. Remember to press both buttons at the same time.
Another Tip!
Sometimes- You can press Crtl and Z to undo something you just did. Then Press Crtl and Y to redo it.
...Say you just highlighted a whole bunch of letters and deleted them all on accident- just press Crtl and Z to undo it! On certain things you can only undo a certain amount of times before it stops you.

I'm sorry, but I have no clue how to help you except to direct you to this (http://feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&lang=en&jfile=index.php&topic=321.0) topic. Hopefully it helps. Maybe you need OpenGL instead of Direct3D. Good luck!~

When I try logging in it tells me that I need the latest patch, but when I try downloading it, nothing happens. Am I downloading the wrong one?

I think I have mine fixed, since I was able ot make an avatar, but now I'm stuck in an empty map.

Which patch do I download? The one on the Official Downloads page? If so, then I've already tried them both. The torrent doesn't have a system to run on and the main download is infected according to the firewall I have. So I can't get either of them to run.

Chasta, perhaps if I send you my patch it will work? I know it's not infected, and if your firewall says it is, perhaps you should turn it off to download the patch? oh, and you need a program to download torrent files.

I'm sorry, but I only help with missing files and uploading that, not uploading a whole game installer. ^^; As for Braquou how about you type your sentences in French, then translate them with Microsoft Word into english? Here is the cg.dll...

I think that might help a little. Or at least make it easier for me to get started with the game. I can deactivate the firewall for a little while to get the patch dowloaded.

Okay, I am so confused, plz help! I downloaded the game and for some reason none of these files came with it! I downloaded all the files and now it says irrKlang.dll file is still missing. I downloaded it for the second time and it still says this. Did I put this in the wrong place or somethin'? Ty :)

Both of you, Crimsonstripe and Joahnna, right click the feralheart icon(three golden paws) click open file location. Copy the file you downloaded/need and paste them into the FeralHeart folder you just opened by right clicking the icon and clicking open file location. c:

Wow... I have no clue where the missing file is located... Err.... This may be a bit difficult for you but...
Copy Overlay 2, open your FeralHeart folder, click Media, then overlay and paste the whole folder in there.
Copy the Gui file and go to Materials in your FeralHeart folder, paste the Gui file in there.

Wow... I had to redownload FeralHeart and used my own download to fix and error. LOL 'nyways. I'm bumping this in a way since it was like... At the sixth page of the Game Help section. This way, people get to the third page, and give up on looking very much further and go ahead and make a thread. In which, I have probably done that beforez' lD

Then click Open file, or anything that opens the file that FeralHEart is in. If this doesn't work, then go to your Start, click Computer click something like (C:) Local then click FeralHeart and you are there.

Try changing the rendering system. This thread is for missing FH files, and your error message has nothing to do with that.

When i try to fix irrlklang.ddl ...i click the link to download it..and it says "threat detected".....so i CANT fix it...or is there another way..? Mediafire gives me viruses...so is there another way to fix my issue? PLEAS HELP/REPLY!! I HAVENT PLAYED THE GAME IN SO LOONG.....IM GUNNA DIE OF NOT PLAYING!!

Did you already got the game to work one time or does it always happen when you try to start the game?
It actually doesn't belng into this thread, there isn't any file missing. Try changing the render subsystem, perhaps that works, but I don't know.

No, this happens every time I try to start the game. I reinstalled the game but it doesn't help. I changed the render subsystem as well but it's always the same thing. There's something not found in one file and there is a similar error message in the startpost, so it could be a missing file.

I am brand new to this site and have absolutely no idea whats going on. When i try to open FeralHeart it tells me my

irrKlang.dll is missing

and i have tried to reinstall the download but nothing happens and its getting annoying. Can you PLEASE give me some idea on how to fix this? it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much. I'm able to play it with windows now. Unfortunately I'm still getting an error on Linux with wine, not the same as before but a similar. Ironically I'm getting the same error message after putting the file into the FeralHeart folder. I don't know if it has to do with the file but I tried almost everything with wine to make it work. I even configured and compiled wine by myself which increased only the performance with every other program/game.

I don't know if you can help me, but here's the error message, which is exactly the same as the one you posted. It's now the same as your english but the previous was another.

I know that. The error message Kieva posted isn't the same as I got before (look at page 3 of this topic) and the missing file causes an error with the same message, so there's another problem.

@Jinchuuriki I already tried that but it doesn't help.

I already downloaded the file and followed the instructions but I'm still getting that error. If you compare both error messages I posted, you'll notice a small difference in them. So there's something else wrong.

I'm assured it's the same error, since they both have the 7 on them. Are you sure you put it in C:\FeralHeart and not in another folder by accident?

I downloaded both the game setup and the patch but when I go to my Feral Heart folder, I don't have the screenshot, terrains, maps, presets, or any other anything else except those 2 downloads. Did I do anything wrong or do I need to do anything special to get all of those folders so I can play the game?

1. Double click FH setup& follow the instructions onscreen, leave the default directory as it is.
2. Doubleclick the patch& follow the instructions onscreen, leave the default directory because the patch has to overwrite the original game.

lol Ok may be my computer's being stupid or it's just me. XD I double clicked on FH game setup like I was told but I only get the option to "run" it. When I click run, I have to choose a program to run it on. In the end I never get the chance to install it. I must be missing something... XP

I've been having this same problem where it said it couldn't find irrklang.dll and now its telling me it can't find ogremain and i have tried to download it about 6 times and still tells me it cant find it.

I was able to install FH but I try to load the game it says irrKlang.dll is missing but when I look through my files, it's really in my FH folder. Do I need to place this file anywhere else or is it just my computer? Thanks for putting up with me and for all of the help so far, I appreciate it! :)

Well I never normally have issues I can't solve myself but this time..There is NO error
Cape of distant worlds is not working for me. Strangly. I can't figure it out. It simply says "Program not Responding" and shuts down.

I'm on windows 7
I have COMPLETELY uninstalled and reinstalled FH with v6 patch.
Does the same thing.

:/ I need to get in there for maps and whatnots. So...Thank you for your help anyone.

d3dx9 is NOT a file that is included in the game. It is a system library for direct3D I think.
d -> direct
3d -> 3D
x9 -> version 9
I guess that's what caused the ogre exception too.

Do NOT put it into the feralheart folder. I found it inside C:>WINXP>system32, so I guess you should put it into the equivalent folder on your comp.

what do i do? i was on map maker and i went into objects and clicked on Gazelle and is came up with an error thing that said:

OGRE EXCEPTION(6:FileNotFoundException): Cannot locate

I usually only do default missing files. Also- you need to put the .mesh files and their textures you downloaded into My_Objects.

Do you get an error Flamingheart? If not, then just rather A. Re-install FeralHeat, but uninstall FeralHeart before you Re-install it. Backup the certain files you need.
B. If you remember then just put it back how it was before you tried.
DinWolfie, the Gazelle.mesh may not be in there, if you don't really need the gazelle.mesh then just go into the Objects folder, find the group .object file that the gazelle.mesh is in and erase the gazelle.mesh stuff, everything under it until it gets to the next object, which should have the []around the object word.
For example...
[Gazelle]
mesh0=%gazelle.mesh;0 0 0;1 1 1;1 0 0 0;
[Giraffe]
mesh0=%giraffe.mesh;0 0 0;1 1 1;1 0 0 0; Erase the Gazelle, not the [Giraffe] Which is the next object.

Now, if you want, you can give me the file(s) that you downloaded to get the meshes. I can try to see what the problem is and rather tell you what to do to fix it, or upload the fix.

In my FeralHeart files, there is no snow.particle or rain.particle or d3dx9_40.dll. For the particles, there was a weather.particle so I will give you that (http://www.mediafire.com/?h60187trkw6itcw). As for the .dll please post a picture of the error. c:

It says it's missing a material called crystalglowmat2. But that's in one of the portals to the maps i downloaded. Idunno if anyone knows if it's in like.. general? Or some mesh in the map..? I'm not good with this type of thing, yet. >.<

Well, my problem is that I downloaded FH+ but when I double click the icon, a message pops up saying "Can't find irrKlang.dll" You said copy it to the Feral Heart folder. Where is that?

The FH folder is on the main drive, which mostly is C:. Somewhere on your desktop or in the start menu there is an folder called 'my computer' which leads you to the drive list.

Hi there ^^"

Somehow, while I've been messing through my files trying to fix my Feral Heart program, I lost my watersplash.png image, which I need for a map of mine. Could I request you just set me up a download for it? It would be a big help to my sanity, considering after an hour I finally gave up looking for it.

Merely helping, I just thank God that mediafire worked... and I managed to find the file, and much more!
I looked up watersplash.png and it showed nothing, so I was like... Derp :D and looked in particles, then saw the splash.png and it looks like water, and it's named splash! Watersplash! Haha! I crack myself up.... xP <3

 Hello, I downloaded a terrain pack and ended up not liking it, so I deleted the stuff. When I did so, the file called

defaultTex.cfg

has all the terrains out of order, so now all the terrains looks like a different one. Basicly, for example African Grass looks like Black. Can you give me the the defaultTex.cfg file that is in the correct order? Thanks. :3

OMG i dowloaded horseland then cut and pasted it in feralheart folder and i cant find it on my game!!

For some reason, ever since I downloaded the new mass markings pack, all of the default markings disappeared! Now everyone with default markings look like blurry marshmallows! Help!

Uhh, Yeah. Think you can post the main markings.cfg file to mediafire or something? I happened to remove it during the process of adding back my 22 aug markings. *I skimmed this, so didn't see if it was completely there* It'd be SUCH a big help! I need it ASAP too. Everything(characters) Is just a huge white bundle, except for the ones without markings. This would make me very happy. Thank you!

I cannot, but when adfly pops up, look the the top right button that says next or skip, it will take you to the site.
@Abbyby Do you still need the .cfg file? If so, I might upload it in a month or so, but atm I can't really right now... internet. I would need to redownload FH, which I plan on doing but internet... xD So i suggest asking someone else for now please.

Where exactly are you looking? Go into Computer >> C: (Drive) > Feralheart. There, you should see some files and folders, which make up the foundation of FH. If any are gone/deleted/missing, I'm afraid you have to reinstall FH. I'll PM you any items/markings/etc if you had them before.

And please don't necro old threads. Post your issue in Game/forum help next time.

Help, I accidentaly deleted my fearlheart>>media>>textures folder. And cant get it back. I don't know how and I don't wanna have to re-download fearlheart again
