Love these ^^ Excellent job!

And as for the vertices/poly count being too high (if you're concerned about it, they look alright to me) try looking at this! It could be helpful: http://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/31467/how-to-reduce-vertex-count-on-a-mesh

Idk about pro but I might just have to make these downloadable later with all this positive stuff! Of course I'm going to wait until I've made lots more stuff since I don't have much at the moment. ^.^

I find the poly count to be within acceptable amounts, at least for small to medium sized maps but then again I haven't placed any 'detail' objects yet like random items like a ring laying on a table with books and stuff like that. xD
I'll check this out though, thanks! ^.^

Yeah, I see what ya mean xD There's always those stubborn ones and it adds up. Worth looking into if lag becomes a problem, but I wouldn't worry about it unless you start running into problems.

i find this interesting.
The Japanese concept of wabisabi:
The closest concept in english would be 'rustic'
They might have an old thing, one example is a favourite bowl or dish, it's broken, pieces are missing, why fix it?  With gold and pieces from other dishes?
"Because it was my favourite & I like it"
