First of all, this is an amazing idea! Thank you so much for posting a thread like this~the idea about posting this was brought up by Spicy in dms <3 i really love hearing your idea! it sounds like fun!! i'll make sure to note down the activities separate and keep them in mind when we start planning these events out! thank you for sharing!
Secondly, I would really love to see an RP day type of event. Even if it's an unofficial one, I would love for a day to bring whatever character(s) you like into a map and just get a massive RP event going on, those were always so fun! It can be chill and also maybe groups could come in and sort of promote themselves by allowing others to RP with them for the day~
Other activities I know people enjoy based on events I run in my groups:
1. Hide and Seek - this is by far the most popular type of event we have. Sometimes we can get people online that wouldn't typically hop on just for a short round of hide and seek. It always ends up fun and we usually have a bit of a running tally for "best hiding spot"
2. Movie nights! Might be a bit more difficult to figure out, but I know movie nights were also very popular on FH for a long time.
3. Preset competitions and screenshot competitions are always fun little mini things you can do in an event. Getting people together to do prizes is also part of the fun. Recently, one of my groups had two artists collab on pieces for the prizes so it was just as much fun for the winners as it was for the artists.
Would love if the official events such as the official RP Day, Summer parties, Halloween parties, competitions, etc. could make a return. Those events really brought the community together and I think they’d be good to bring back from the dead. Those events have always been very memorable and it might bring a little bit of excitement back to the game, so long as they’re consistent. Depends on the capabilities of the staffers though. If they don’t have the time to plan such things n get them up and running, then that’s understandable, but it’s just an idea. For now we could just stick to casual events such as movie nights as Blood said above me, as well as even games of Hide N Seek and the ancient tunnel game lol.love the ideas! i'll see what we can do to make those happen <3 as for the competitions could you maybe explain a bit more in what your wanting so i can get a general idea to add to the activates list ^^

Blood already mentioned the themed preset and screenshots competitions which used to occur back in the day; I think they’d be fun to bring back. There also used to be map making comps. It does depend on if multiple prize-givers can be found and if there’s enough participation though, but you never know until you try.

I think the suggestions so far are really interesting! What if we brought back something similar to temple of dreams, like a parkour map and host a race with different prizes? I personally hate parkouring in FH, but maybe others may find it pretty fun xD

I'd love to see some more events based around national day holidays! This website (https://www.calendarr.com/united-states/observances-2021/) has the national day holidays and honestly some of them could have some fun parties!Love the idea mom! i'll note it down in the post <3
I think this is an awesome post Security! I can't wait to see what else people come up with. I would like to give some ideas as well :oLove these ideas and how you build off of what others said to expand on it! *runs to note them down* will throw these ideas in the discord along with the others and any that come in. <3 thank you for sharing your ideas!
- A game night! Get the members of the community together to play a game like Pictionary or something like that (Skribbl.io). It could be a fun way to get to know some of the community outside of Feralheart/Discord!
- Similar to movie night, but watching funny YouTube videos together. Maybe we could watch some of the videos that the talented members of the community have created?
- Adding onto the parties idea, I think a Winter/Christmas Party would be really cool, maybe something in Spring as well so there's something for every season!
- Like the parkour map, but just a race track map!
- Playing other games in game like Blood suggested Hide and Seek, but maybe Tag, or a game where everyone sits in a circle and one person is in the middle. This game is known as Connection, basically the person in the middle says something about themselves (I like chocolate, I love horseback riding, I own a dog, I live in Florida, etc.) and whenever someone hears something they have in common with that person they say connection and swap out with the person in the middle - the person in the middle would have to determine whoever said it first. Basically it's a fun little 'getting to know you' game that might help people make friends! Maybe other 'ice breaker' games as well?
- An official or unoffical 'advertisement' day, where as many groups as possible get online to advertise for their groups. Almost reminiscent of like job fairs or club fairs where you can go around and meet some people that run groups and see if you want to join any of them. This would not be a movie spam but instead the group leaders sitting and ready to talk to anyone that strikes up convo with them/seems interested in the group.
What a nice post to write up! I think all of those said are a great idea so I don't have anything to add. I do want to say I would love to see this community get together more and kind of, re-build in a sense! I think we need it for sure. It could be a great first step in the next direction, thank you for posting this, Security! It's nice to see those in the community come together for chats about the future of the game. <3they are all wonderful ideas! bonds in the community grow much stronger when brought together to give ideas and create some fun events, etc. always amazing to see what you guys have to say and i love the different ideas an how you can add onto others ideas. spicy actually recommended i post this for our partyplanners to have something to give back to the community and see what events you all wanted <3
