V.4. Well this is it, the last version of my dragon preset... Well. . . I say that but there's always room for improvement hehe! So yesh I may carry on with updating this dwagon in the future lol. Until then guys and gals!!

Thank you all so much, I really appreciate it! took me half a day to do, as drawing the scales was a nightmare. Needs more work me thinks.:)

Thanks a bunch Sig! I'll have dragon version 3.0 up in a few days, which will just be me adding a few more colours and giving it a tad more flavour so it doesn't look bland. :)

This is interesting... You're trying to make a Dragon preset, huh? Are you trying to make the actual 'texture / reptile scales' yourself?
Or are you using reference? Because, I know for a fact that drawing scales is very tricky. Especially on FH models.

Righty, to be honest what I've been doing is looking at references for information and then attempting to draw my own texture/scales for the preset... as awful as they are.

Ahahha! Right- I had a feeling! But that's alright, it's what most preset makers do! That's what I do, too. I usually just find reference, and draw side-by-side - the reference is on one side, my art is on the other. ( So, I'm not tracing. Just supporting off a real concept. If that makes sense- it's a little hard to explain. )

And aww- haha. It's not awful! Hey- everybody has to start somewhere, right? And this is your start! We improve from our mistakes, and that's how it always works. <3
Just keep trying. I think if maybe... You add some shading around the 'outline of the scales', and then simply blur it / smoothen the 'darker colour' ( shading ), it'll add depth to the texture!

Really appreciate that Sig, I mean you coluld've seen it yesterday as I was at Ascension Island... even though I fell to my demise about 50 times lol. And bit by bit the preset is progressing, just a lil more detail around the legs and such. :)

P.S. I tried to make the preset look a bit like Amethyst with a hint of lil shards of glowing diamond, because I just love the colour it gives off. It's magical just how a dragon should be in my eyes considering they are mythical creatures. Thanks again Blood :)
