Hi everybody! I'll just get right to the point here. Delay and I have decided to get all possible items from IT into FH! It's my job to fit the items onto the characters as best as I can, and Delay is going to retexture a lot of them and add various colors of certain items. I'm also going to try and add a few creations of my own! We're doing great so far! Here's some poorly taken screenies for you to enjoy!

DISCLAIMER: NOT all of the items fit perfectly on the models. For example, the collar looks great on the feline, but terrible on the canine. Conversely, the bracelets look great on the canines but they're just a little small on the felines. So you just have to deal- it's not our fault, it's just the way they were made and we can't change that.

Awesome ^^ I'm glad someone else found out how to do this, TONS of my friends on IT have been upset with FH for some reason, and I told them I knew how to put items from IT to FH. Hopefully they'll see this thread so I don't have to burn my brain xDD

No they won't crash they just wont see the items on you copper ^^

Ouka/Hanzo: Just a little note. I don't think you should be using Xaph horns, they're sort of private. I also think the horns with the yellow ring on them are private.

Im trying to get the bubble to work but im having no luck getting it to fit around the whole lion/wolf. You guys might do a better job of getting it to fit.

There is no download yet, they haven't finished with it. I'm guessing it will come out for everyone to use as a patch to download or just the whole game to re-install, like for the wings.

Heh it's not an official patch, it's just me and Delay putting up a download for you to stick in your game, like you would with a map or something. It would be great if we could get it in officially, but we'd have to talk to Kov.

I checked out this item pack, and most of these would be a great addition to the original game(Except the bubbles since they really do not belong and never will).
Many of these items do no work for the other species though as mentioned by you guys earlier. But I must say it feels a lil sadz that a male lion still can't wear a tie without it getting nommed by the mane xD
However though, there's a good amount of items that work well, and to be really honest they should be put into the game if possible.
Another thing is that items that just work for only canines and only felines could maybe be edited to suit both?

Though of course, if these items were put into the game kov could program them so if you have a feline character and equip a certain item for it, it would automatically choose the one that work without extending the list with all tons of things.

Lol that or make items like object maker, use the up down left right moving to place a item where u want it to go. I know from experience how long these coding must of been, so i cant imagine how much time ringo and delay spent.

Aye, there was not much we could do about some meshes not fitting each species very well. I did the best that I could to try and code each one in so it fit, it was very trying work xD After release last night I actually saw some of the items didn't fit as well as they could have and I'm sorry for that (the notes dont actually sit in the mouth, the ZT helmets move with the jaw when you talk).
The ties and necklaces DO get nomed by manes. Sorry about that, can't really fix it though :C
If kov was ever willing to actually get most of these ingame and code them so they do fit without extending the list like you said red, I'm sure Delay would be more than happy to make meshes that fit each species better. Or something.

There's things like the rose though that work great for both the feline and canine, if kov was told about this it wouldn't be any problem putting it in the game as far as I know.
Another idea I thought about that kov could do to make it easier(in a way), would be if canines had their own items.cfg and felines their own.
This way you can place made items into the correct config easier but also have something that splits them all up. If kov would sort this we could pretty much just get items done and ask him to place these inside the game as they are made, but also know the items fit the character well no matter which species you are.

Hey there! I LOVE the items, you are all such wonderful people to do this for everyone, taking the time to refit it to FH's models from IT. But I did notice that the Rose Behind Ear L/R item doesn't work for me. I placed everything in the right folders, as I can see all of the other items as well. I can also see the plain rose, that goes in your mouth. Otherwise, the rest of the items work great, even if some can only look wonderful on the different models. But is the same thing happening for anyone else?
It doesn't matter who big the ears are, the weight of the character, or whether or not it's a canine or feline. It just doesn't appear. I don't get a pop-up saying it cannot find anything either. Forgive me if I just didn't see an update about that item or something, I skipped a few posts in my reading. Thanks again, but can anyone help? OH, and it has just come to my attention that I do not see the 'tail feather' item either. Thanks!

That means you didn't put int he meshes/textures/materials right. Make sure you drag each individual item in, not the folder.

You can see your items, and the items of anyone else who has the same item pack. but for those who don't it will be like they don't exist.

Redownload the pack and try again? You probably didn't place them right.

That means you didn't correctly install the items. Make sure you drag each individual mesh and texture in, don't just drag in the folder.

There is probably a .cfg file you aren't placing in the main Feral Heart folder

That means you didn't properly transfer the meshes. Make sure you drag EACH INDIVIDUAL mesh/texture/mat into the folder, not just the folder.

I have been having a problam i know a few others have had and i want to no if it can be resolved?
For example you put on dimond necklace on you see it fine but the other person with has this item package dosnt see the dimond necklace they see a diffrent item all togther ??. I love the items but i dont see a point using them if others dont see what i pick? can this be resolved thanks you Katie

*sigh* This was explained in the readme.
If they have the item pack as well, the items need to be IN THE EXACT SAME ORDER as your list in order for the items to show up correctly. If you or the other person has other item packs installed (such as Ham's items) they will no show up correctly because of the way Kov lazily made the items list.

Make warrior cats U: lol It just kinda annoys me how when you try to make a simple cat it comes out a muscly (cats on steriods lol) and weird looking. The ears annoy me the most. They're called cat ears but (no offense to creator) they fit the body all wrongand look horrible! If you could create some good meshes for cats (ears, tails, whiskers, ect.) it would be great. Or maybe you could recreate to body buile comepletly, or would that be too hard? (o3o this is coming from a noob lol sorry)

Lol we make items to accessorize, not meshes for the body. It was hard enough doing a simple feather item, we couldn't do something like that, plus we don't have the tools to do so. Glad you like the items though!

When saved go to the file and read the README in the notebook. make sure you didnt miss any files, if it wont work then you might have mine and GoldenHeartWolf's case, download the file into every FH file EXCEPT for presets/my_presets then if you copied the words for the stuff to show paste in into the notebook file of "Items" in the NORMAL FH folder. It should be there when you look. I hope it helped!! plus @Ringo: THIS PACK IS AWESOME!!! Many many people have them!!

Woah, this is amazing! I love this, and the best part of it is that almost everyone in the map has it! So it's not like that many people don't see the items on you. It is kinda unlevel though at the positioning, but that's just a tiny thing. Overall, 10/10!

Help! When I installed them, they appeared on the in-game list but no matter what I try to wear nothing appears! (I did turn my character around cause sometimes some items are hanging far from you character weirdly but no sign of them) HEEEEEEEEELP!

You know the Link bar? it is where the links to the site you're on are. Well there should be ad fly's little thing infront of the REAL link. All you have to do, is highlight the part INFRONT of the the little http://________ (http://________) thingy and then press backspace. It should load then take you to mediafire, this happens to me allll the time XD

Annya, that's just an ad. Go to the top right corner and click skip ad then it shows the real download. And it works for me now! It's a little hard to look at me because I've got my awesome RAINBOW BUBBLE! :P

I was meaning, not to make new items, but to add more existent items to this item pack. My main reason is, since this item pack is the most used, it should have all the awesome items that already exist around the forum.
Rather than having small item packs everywhere, and causing visual glitchs of items not matching, i would like this item pack to continue to be the most used, and to continue growing.
FH needs a "semi-oficcial" item pack to avoid glitches, and i think your item pack is a good candidate.

I've downloaded the items pack and done everything it says in the note, but when I press "add" in the character creator, the items are there but don't show up.... there invisible.
In the bottom box where they all are it just says 0 next to them. I don't know if that's something to do with the fact their not showing up or what.

You need to download WinRAR, then use WinRAR to extract it to the FeralHeart "items" folder.

I went into the game and the long list was there, I clicked an item and clicked add but nothing showed up. This was the same for every item I tried. If I remember correctly, the items don't work in Preset Maker. You should definitely log in and see if they work in Character maker.
And if it still fails to work, just double check the readme and maybe you'll stumble upon a mistake.

This happened to me too, make sure you didn't put the folder with the items in it into the folder. Just put the items themselves into the folder. Hope it works out for you :)

Thanks, but literally 2 minutes after I posted that I realized what I was doing wrong. I needed to drop the ".cfg" file in the FHroot folder.

First off, you may need WinRaR or 7-Zip to extract the files.
Next, you will need to extract all of the images found in this download into "FeralHeart\media\items"
Last, extract the Items.cfg file into feralhearts main folder and replace the one already there.
(if you do not wish to replace it, then simply open Items.cfg and paste this under the last item listed and then save.)

After doing all this they should work out. I just downloaded them and they do indeed work.
So to sum it up,
Download the file.
Extract everything under Items in this download to "FeralHeart\media\items"
Extract the items.cfg file into FeralHeart's main folder "FeralHeart" and replace the file already there.
(or open notepad, then open items.cfg, copy and paste the code above under anything already in your items.cfg file and save it.)
After doing this, everything should work out.

Hi c: I have just downloaded this pack and I have put all of the items in my item folder, but when I log in and click create/edit, the items aren't there on the items list (besides the christmas hat). I'm not sure if this works on a Mac OSX, or if I'm doing something wrong or if I'm missing something, but do you know how to get this onto my game?

So firstly, if you don't see The items, check if you have put them on your Items.cfgFolder, (Copy and paste the Items.cfg folder all into your Feral heart Items.cfg folder) And then, it might work, if you have put the item textures on ^^ but if you haven't, go to the items folder in the whole item pack, Copy them into the Items folder in the Feral Heart folder. Delete everything in your items folder and re-download the item pack.
Make sure to replace the item.cfg when you're putting it into the main FH folder, otherwise the items won't show up.

Windows 7 and Windows 8 basically work the same way, it's just a different layout. But if it were something like Mac VS Dell, that would be different.

I may not be helpin' out too much since I'm not great with Macs. But, there should be a .cgf File in the Folder. Copy that and replace that with the original .cgf file in the Main Feral Heart Folder.

To get the objects in the game, you must copy and paste the file saying "items" into the main FeralHeart folder. If there is no file for that, just open the ReadMe file and copy paste the items into a files item in the main FH folder. (Refer to Screenshot)

I had to re-install FeralHeart because I got a new-ish computer, and had to re-install the items into the folders, and when I tried to put in the items into the folders (I followed the instructions in the notepad) they don't work... they appear in the items list thing, but when I click them nothing happens. Hmmm.
Copy paste all the items and it's textures and drop them all into the following files: Items, Exports.
Then grab the items folder and drop it into the main FeralHeart file. If that doesn't work still, open the file folder and copy paste all the text with the information about the items, go to the first items.cfg file and drop it in there. Click save when you exit, then try. I don't know anything else other than
1.) Re-install FH and do all that again.
OR
2.) Not try.

First off, been using this item pack for quite a while and I'm still loving it!
Second off, I have some helpful hints for those who are not able to see the items ingame or do not know how to download.
For those who use WINDOWS computers:
1) Download the items
2) Open the folder that says "Items" once downloaded
3) Drag all the files inside that "Items" folder into your Feral-Heart Items folder [Feral-heart > Media > Items]
4) Once done with that, take the "Items.cfg" from the downloaded folder and drag it into your Feral-Heart folder
5) If anything asks to be replaced, click YES
6) Start up the game and enjoy your items!
For those who use MAC computers:
1) Download the items
2) Open the folder that says "Items" once download
3) Drag all the files inside that "Items" folder into your Feral-Heart "Items" folder [Feral-Heart > Media > Items]
4) Once done with that, take the "Items.cfg" from the downloaded folder and drag it into your FHRoots Folder [Feral-Heart > FHRoots]
5) If anything asks to be replaced, click REPLACE
6) Start up the game and enjoy your items!

Yes, you can have both item packs, but it's known to get a bit glitchy. While you can see the actual item that your character is wearing, other people might see another/different item, depending on which item pack they downloaded first (the order of items goes by list, rather than mesh name.) Personally, I would suggest sticking to one item pack, but you may choose to download more than one if you'd like.

okay i figured out how to open it but none of the items are there?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need winRar or 7zip to open it.
After that you need to extract the items in FH>Media>Items. Press replace when it asks.
Put the cfg file in the main FH folder and replace.
Restart FH's client.
Also, next time you have an issue, I suggest making a thread in the help section. That way people will know you need help without checking the thread.

Are you clicking on the item you want, and pressing 'Add' to add your much desired items to your character? Take note that there is a limit of up to 4 items per character and no more. Or is it the fact that you've added them, but they're not appearing?

When do downloaded this, did you make sure to place the 'items.cfg' file it should come with into your main Feralheart folder?
Then copy and paste everything else into your FeralHeart > media > items folder

can i get add-ons for FH without going to "Add-fly" ?
i find it kinda messes up my search :).

It's difficult to avoid going onto ad.fly.
However all you need to do is click the "Skip Ad" in the top right corner.
