Title: can't log in, am i the only one? :0

hey everybody! long-time player here, thought i'd take a trip down memory lane & play the game that raised me LOL.
but when i try to log in via the "play game" link, i put in my credentials, hit the login button and all that happens is that the page reloads with the spaces for me to put in my credentials blank. i can try this as many times as i want, nothing else happens.
similiarly, when i actually try to log in through the game itself, it just tells me "incorrect username or password". both my user and my password are correct, so i truly don't know what i'm doing wrong.
any help please? thank you! ♥

A tip I haven't read from the moderators is to change your password and make sure it's 30 characters or less with no symbols or other special characters. On my old account, that fixed an issue where I couldn't log in.
