Game Help / Re: Is it allowed in Feral-Heart?
« on: September 15, 2012, 02:33:11 pm »
It's allowed of course. Your sexual orientation has nothing to do with bans. Otherwise it would be stated so in the rules, and would be wrong XD

Also, this would go in the game help section I think, The Ask Me section is where you go if you want to be asked questions not ask ask a question.

hmm... I don't know how that would get fixed really... As draak said, you'll probably have to wait for ghosting. I wonder what is going on with these plugins >:(

I don't mind either way, I trust everyone, and the trading stuff is really only for fun, not something really taken absolutely seriously on the server in my opinion at least. More like something to pass the time when there is nothing else to do XD

Oh, and ghosting, I decided that perhaps getting the old HG arena over would be a good idea, and I could make the changes I wanted from that, rather than starting from scratch. It would be a lot to start over from scratch, and I haven't been able to find as good a spot as the previous one XD

So yes, sometimes the other side has difficulty seeing the whole, but from what you've shown me, you do to. BOTH SIDES NEED TO WAKE UP TO REALITY. BOTH SIDES are wrong in cases, and BOTH SIDES need to get their act together. I could write more about why you are wrong, and why they are wrong as well, but honestly, I know you're not going to read a word of what I write, as both sides think they are perfect. The reality isn't your view OR theirs, it is somewhere in between. Your side views them as dangerous wild beasts that would happily turn on man, and they view them as perfect.

You know, when you see something like this, with two sides, you know the best side to take? The one in the middle. The one that is most likely to be true because both sides will have exaggerated to one side or the other while the truth lies in the middle.

I'm going to quote this for you guys, again. Yes, wolves aren't cuddly bunnies, but you know what? You guys are just as bad for exaggerating the bad side of the wolves. Wolves do NOT rip people limb from limb, no matter WHAT fairy tales you read. My post was to point out that while you guys are right in saying wolves aren't friendly, all you're doing is exaggerating the bad side of wolves. That makes you just as bad as the people you are trying to disprove.

I'm sorry, but I could only sit back and watch for so long before I started getting annoyed.

Cheetahs, unlike other felines, are unable to sheathe their claws. Foxes are able to sheathe and sheathe their claws unlike other canines. As far as I remember at least.

Discussion Board / Re: Rescue or buy?
« on: September 03, 2012, 01:39:02 pm »
Honestly, I do prefer getting animals from rescues over a pet shop, but you also have to remember that they're not just things you can buy, they're living breathing animals with personality. And sometimes you'll find that animal that is perfectly suited for you in a pet shop, and you can't just say, they're cheaper at a  rescue, or, my money goes somewhere better if I go to a rescue, because that is just something you can not do. You find your perfect companion, the one you love with all your heart, and you buy it, no matter where it comes from.

So yes, while I do prefer getting animals from shelters, always look there first, I honestly don't give a damn in the end, because all that matters is you LOVE that animal, not where it came from. You can not just say no to buying your new family member on the case that it isn't a rescue. rescue animals come with a whole tonne of issues as it is as well, depending on the animal, rescues are not always the best for first time pet owners. It is a situational thing really.

/ninja'd!

yes, as Draak said, breeding animals actually isn't a profitable thing anyway. My mum used to breed bull terriers. Lost more money than she earned. Puppies died (mum dog was new, didn't know how to take care of them, killed a couple of the pups), got sick, expensive vet bills and food bills, trying to then find homes for said animals, breeding animals isn't something you take up lightly, and isn't a very profitable thing to do.
