i think it was some cryptic combination of wolfquest, amvs and bereghostgaming videos? maybe? i honest to god don't know where i first exactly heard about the game but i remember knowing about other it servers and not really.. liking the "hunt for yo own items" aspect.. i'm lazy and impatient bc i'd been doing collectems in other games for y e a r s prior.
and it was like "hey u don't gotta do that here. i'm on board."
some kind of mix of that i think. 2013 was a long time ago.

Like many people here, I started with playing on WolfQuest. I played it way back when multiplayer was first introduced, and the game was relatively rough. I was young and going through my wolf phase, so I google searched 'games like wolfquest' and FH was on a list of many games. I waited for days checking if registration was open, and slipped in the second it was. Funny how even after I left my online animal game phase FH always always seemed to stay -- so glad it did! <3

Yea as most of us here, I also played WolfQuest. I didn't have a registered account to play multiplayer so I just played the original version with those two maps. xD I think after I finished both maps a few times, I started to look for other games and found out about Feral Heart c: I didn't know about any IT servers, so FH is the first game after WQ that I found out about, if you don't include random online games like y8 and whatever kids used to play in my school.

I decided to look for animal-based games where you play as animals after losing almost all interest for games back in 2013. This loss of interest was caused by changes to a game I played before changing in ways I didn't like and I, being only an in-game user for that game, often felt ignored when it came to huge game-changing decisions. In 2014, I found FeralHeart and a new interest was sparked for me, a game where there is no set goal, quests or story because that is entirely up to the players to create? No grinding or training to become a high level player that could do the fun parts of the game? Creating not only characters, but skies, maps, presets (I can look like anything?!), and weather? For someone who was bored of the everyday -kill # whatever- or -you gotta be at least this lvl b4 do this- stuff, this was awesome! Since then my interest in other games returned, but FeralHeart still remains my most-played game.
In 2016 I decided to become part of the forum after the map-change patch happened, I was very afraid of it at first as I had little experience with forums before that time but now it's just "I wonder what's going on today? :D".

I used to almost exclusively spend my time on a site called scratch.mit.edu and eventually I stumbled across screenshots from the game that someone had uploaded.
I was also deep in my wolf-phase too, so I immediately wanted to play !
(I've actually never played WolfQuest, so it's always interesting to see how many people found FH because of WQ).

i think i was looking around for art in deviantart and i saw a screenshot of the game on the front page. i asked the person who posted it about the game, they showed me it, and the rest is history! pretty boring yeah.
EDIT: forgot to say why i joined lol. i've always wanted to play a game where you can play as an animal without any restrictions. back then i played animal jam and wolfquest a lot so i wanted something more than that. the wolf models intrigued me honestly (which why my username is wolfqueen). i wasn't too keen on roleplaying but i picked up on it when i joined fh.

It was through Youtube that I found Feralheart. I was actually looking for LoZ Twilight Princess videos and came across one featuring a wolf Link preset. The game caught my interest, I did some searching, and now here I am!

i found fh mostly through youtube, particularly wolfquest related videos. i just wanted a better place to roleplay, plus i was lonely and tired of wq's censored chat.

I used to watch his videos so much back in the day oml
But someone told me about FH through a game called "I Predator" lol. After that, I started watching a ton of FH related yt vids and I instantly got attached to it. I also used to played WQ a lot but no one ever talked about FH.

Met friends through an app called Derby Days, the chatroom part of it was full of roleplayers and I made friends with a group called the Anime PAC. Made some close friends, two of them played feralheart and surprised me with an account they made for me so I could play with them (back when registration was randomly opened) and got me hooked on it. Sadly we went our separate ways not long after. I played FH for another year before I lost interest. Earlier this year I got a nostalgia bug and decided to see if FH was still a thing. Sure enough it was. I had forgotten my username and just made a new account (This one). Then the very next day I found an old scrap piece of paper under my desk with my old user name and password on it. *eyeroll* So I use it for when I'm not in a social mood and want to walk around without my current RP groups spamming my chat box haha. I really love FH and hope to be an active member of the community :)

I actually played another game a while back, FreeRealms! I played this when it released in 2009 and played it a lot and then a bit less by the time it shut down in 2014.
I found out about FeralHeart from a friend on there around like 2011/2012 and ended up checking it out and joining the game. Ever since I joined, I've been pretty active on here and always around in some way, I never actually got really active on the forums until about 2016 though I believe!
Not sure how many people on here know of that game or anything, though I enjoyed it a lot, if anyone actually happened to play it feel free to pm me lol, i'd love to chat about it sometime.

Aye another FreeRealmer! I sadly only got to play for a couple days ^-^; It was so much fun while it lasted, though.
I found FeralHeart through a friend of mine on a little game called Animal Jam. After fighting with the registration for almost a month, I arrived here. The whole reason I joined was because I love wolves, and getting to make my own with even more customization than I had on AJ, I was set. Little did I know what other amazing things awaited me~

I used to play Impressive Title back in the day. After the servers were no longer public, I heard about a new project in the works, so I kept an eye out for it (as I did very much enjoy the IT, rip) and here I am. I remember it all being so very exciting. :P

WolfQuest again.
I enjoyed dabbling around in the tutorial videos and such of wolfquest on youtube, and came across a couple different FeralHeart AMVs. The lipsync function was what really caught my eye on it. I was able to create an account right away.
And then I never played it. That "FeralHeart" game sure does look like fun though.
