Title: Only just a simple question about the music.cfg
Post by: Ellen11v on August 05, 2019, 11:15:30 pm
Hey guys, I just want to ask, what does the codes inside the music.cfg folder mean? I'm trying to find out if I can add more songs to the game than the ones there already are? :)I'm planning on making myself my favorite music playlist to have playing while when I enter the game, and I wish to add at least 15 different songs that I love. :)

Thank you!

The music below the [Plains] section are some that I added for when I downloaded a map called Elysium which can be found on Deviant ART.
I'm actually not sure why plains 1, 2 and 3 are not listed there, because they ARE in the (C:)/FeralHeart/Media/Music folder... Hmmface.jpg

The text inside the .cfg corresponds to the file names in the music folder. I haven't messed with the music files too much so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if you put your own music (mp3 format) in the music folder and add
Code: [Select]
media/music/[insert file name of new music].mp3as text to the .cfg, it should add it to the in-game music circulation.

Yup! You can add your own music or replace the existing songs. I'm not sure if there's a limit on how many tracks can be assigned to plains or cave, but feel free to go nuts and test it out c:
