PRESIDENT DECLARES WOLF-DOG HYBRIDS LEGAL IN ALL STATES
Last Year, the President looked into wolf-dogs (cross between wolf and domestic dog) being legal in all states. Many people wanted to be able to own these creatures, as household pets. Others, however, disagreed by saying that everything should stay how it is and leave the wolf-dogs be.
The President considered both sides for the year, leaving everything like normal until last Tuesday, when he made the decision to let these creatures be owned by all.

When the people saw this, they immediately took advantage. Wolf-dogs became the number one pet to own, and their population increased rapidly. For tree years, wolf-dog ownership was found in all states, and also began to spread into other countries as well. Wolf-dogs outnumbered most animals, including the wolves themselves. People were happy, and so were the hybrids.
Then, this appeared:
February 11th, 2032
WOLF-DOG KILLS ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD OF PEOPLE
One night, when the family was asleep in the house, loving pet wolf-dog Pumpkin awoke from her bed and went into the youngest son's room to lay at the foot of his bed. Thinking she wanted to play, the boy began to roughhouse with her a bit. The animal got annoyed and nipped the boy's nose, causing a nosebleed.
The boy thought the best thing to do was to discipline her. He pushed her angrily off the bed. Pumpkin's wolf instincts took over and attacked the boy, leaping onto him and knocking him off. She caused several injuries, and the boy finally died of blood-loss.
The family came in and saw what had happened. The father took hold of a gun, threatening the hybrid into attacking him and the mother of the boy. Both were killed within 20 minutes of blood-loss.
The police came in and saw the wolf-dog with the bloodied muzzle, and called the animal control. Later that week Pumpkin was put to sleep, and people began to get scared.

While this was only one family, wolf-dog attacks sprang out all over the country. It was beginning to look bleak for the creatures. Eventually, the day came.
November 19th, 2033
WOLF-DOGS DECLARED TOO DANGEROUS
After several people have lost their lives due to the wolf-dog existence, the President has come to the conclusion to remove them from households. All over the states, wolf-dogs are abducted from homes and placed in secured areas so no harm can come to anyone anywhere.
Areas from certain states are turned to secured areas to house the hybrids. Wolf-dogs are not allowed to be housed in a normal household unless the president says otherwise.

Sure, it's all good for the humans, but for the Wolf-dogs, something truly awful has begun.
One base, secures within the undergrounds of the country, has begun to do experiments on the wolf-dogs. Horrible experiments.
Deadly experiments.
You are a wolf-dog in this base. You struggle to survive, hoping that you're not chosen to be the next experiment.
It's all down to you. Do you live to see the years ahead? Or do you die, suffering whatever pain and demise the experiments will bring you?

History: She was born in a loving home, an lived with that family for we while life until she was abdicated and brought to the base. She hasn't been experimented on yet, but she has a feeling she might be soon....

Personality: Since Kanti is a young dog her 'full' personality hasn't quite be revealted-and being in this place it ma never be. The traits she has shown so far is pretty strange for a dog of her breed. Kanti is a loving Wolf-dog who will help those in need-she doesn't often show aggression and is more of a playful canine.
History: Well sadly this beautiful canine doesn't have a big or exciting past, she was born in a farm for the Wolf-dogs but since they were banned she was took, only being a few months old-the past few months she spent her time in the lab, and boy does she hate it.

Personality: Atek has a very unpredictable personality, one minute he can be the most loving canine you know-but other times he can be the most harshest, bitterest canine you'll ever meet. Although he can be bitter and others try to avoid him he can be kind and will help others no matter his state of mind. He is getting older and is starting to mature but he will act like a pup once he gets to show his true colors-which is pretty unlikely in this place.
History: A cute pup he was-adopted by a human he wanted him for other reasons. And that being breeding and fighting. He didn't know putting this pressure on the Wolf-dog cause his mixed personality to show-and wind him up. His anger and aggression coming out more and he attacked his owner being sent straight to the lab.

Jika
Jika layed in her medium sized cage. She shifted her position so she was sitting on her haunches. She glanced around the room she was in at the other cages. As a scientist walked by she snapped her jaws shut at it. It scrambled away unphased but she could smell the fear coming from him. Not many scientists are allowed to handle her. Mainly because she's so aggressive. As she relaxed another scientist came in with a raw piece of meat. She bared her teeth at the white coat but he seemed unphased and she couldn't smell any fear coming from him. The white coat pushed the raw meat through the bars and Jika snatched it up quickly. The white coat walked away and Jika ate the meat quickly before laying down quietly.

With a yawn, the dusty colored wolf-dog in cell 364 awoke. She licked the drool off her jowls and stood up. Suri stretched her back legs out, letting another yawn out.Man. Metal floors sure do mess up your back. She thought. Te hybrid was about to sit down when a scientist walked by. She jumped a little and pinned her ears back. She curled her muzzle into a snarl. The scientist ignored her and stood at her cage. He glanced at her cell number and jotted things down on a clipboard. After a minute or so, he walked away with the clipboard and began talking with another scientist. Suri sighed and sat down. She hoped her time to be experimented on wasn't soon.

Appearance: An almost black wolfdog with amber eyes.

Personality: Since she suffers from slight schizophrenia and is cannibalistic at one point, she sees everyone as a target and toy. The only shard of sanity in her is her gentle, caring side of her she rarely shows.
History: She was illegally sold to a teenager couple before running away after slaughtering them. She was caught by the humans and now spends her time here.
Other: She acts a lot like Mary Read from Assassins Creed: Black Flag. Wears a black harness and dog-tags since she's mostly used to beat up others wolfdogs when they're not following the rules. She's mostly seen next to a guard's feet even though she hates being caged up and manipulated.

The sound of foot steps and slamming doors cause the Wolf-Dogs eyes to shoot open-a smile placed neatly across the yearlings face as she peered around-most scientists could interact with the younger Wolf as she hadn't really took in the aggressive behaviours of the Wolf just yet. One of the older scientists who had been closely observing her came towards her cage and smiled lowering to a crouch with one hand against the bars of her cage "Hey there girl.." He muttered then pushing a joint of meat through her bars and petting her head roughly. The youngsters tongue lolled out her maw as she lunged forward and grabbed the piece of meat, quickly lowering herself to her stomach and began wolfing down the meat. Kantis tail gently thudded the bars of her medium sized cage.

A growl erupted from the males throat as he watched the many humans pass through the cage room-his eyes narrowed at each individual as his lips quivered. A dark side had taken over the male since he had been in the labs. A man in white suddenly stopped outside the large cage the large Wolf-Dog was placed in and began filling out the sheet he had spread across the clipboard. Snarling Atek leapt up and began growling at the human-saliva dripping from his maw as he lunged at the bars of the cage. Jumping back the human sulked and put the board on a near by bench-putting the chunk of meat on one of the sticks he slowly pierced it through the hole. Once snapping up the food the human disappeared. Growling one more time Akecheta turned to the side as he began wolfing down the large chunk-his piercing eyes watching as people continued to slowly pass by-aggression bubbling in the male.

Edme quietly trotted next to her human, giving off slight rumbles every time she jerked back the lead clipped on to her harness. Ears plastered across her temple, the onyx colored Wolfdog curled her lips and crooked them into a large smirk before she was released from the leash holding her back from attacking the small wolfdog that somehow managed to slip past the bars due to his scrawny frame. Nails clanked against the metal floor before the hallways echoed with a terrible shriek of pain. Edme had rocketed forward and lunged at the little dog, placing her front paws atop it's chest while digging her whites into the base of it's throat. The guard came in, snatching the squrming wolf hybrid from under the black wolfdog's grip and putting it back into it's cold cell. The human reached down to pet Edme, but quickly pulled it's hand back as a roar escaped the fae's jowls, baring her front canines. She was led next to Kanti's cell, and was left to eat what few of the steaks they had. Laying down, Edme's amber gaze shifted towards the tawny hybrid, lips pulling into another grin. "'Ello 'der, 'laddie." Her Yorkshire accent boomed, the fae hungrily tearing into her scrappy meal.

Personality: Mr. Sniffles always seems to be miserable. He never really talks to anyone. Only when scientists aren't looking he will eat. Other wolf-dogs say he has been like that ever since he was taken to the lab.

Newborn~
Mr. Sniffles was born in the adoption center, when a wolf had entered overnight and bred with one of the dogs there. The workers at the adoption center were surprised to see wolf-dogs, but raised the pups. When they were 6 months old, they were put up for adoption.
6 Months~
Mr. Sniffles was put up for adoption. An adoption center worker decided to name him Mr. Sniffles as he kept on sniffling one day. He had a cold, but it was later cured. One day a couple came to the adoption center, looking for a puppy that they would get for their son's 6th birthday. They chose Mr. Sniffles, and he was put in a box with tiny air holes. He didn't know how long he was in there, when suddenly the box was opened by a little boy. The boy picked up Mr. Sniffles, and hugged him tight. Mr. Sniffles then knew he would have a forever loving home.
1 year~
Mr. Sniffles was growing fast. He had a huge backyard with a field that led to a forest. The boy's mother had part of the field to grow her plants in which she fed to the family. The boy's father usually went hunting, using Mr. Sniffles to sniff out the trails of deer, bird, and rabbit. He would also let Mr. Sniffles bring the carcass back to him, as he had a soft mouth but powerful neck muscles to try to keep the kill off the ground. The boy also got tennis balls and toy foxes to throw for Mr. Sniffles. He loved this, and it was as if his badside was completely washed away.
3 years~
Mr. Sniffles was an official part of the Tomson family. The boy's name was Peter, and was 8 years old now. Mr. Sniffles didn't know the name of Peter's parents though. One day, when Mr. Sniffles was chewing on a squeaky duck toy, he noticed Peter's mother's belly had gotten very big. He sat up, wondering how it got that big. She had kept her diet normal. One night, a woman came to the house. Mr. Sniffles realized it was Peter's grandmother. Then Peter's father got real nervous, and drove away with Peter's mother, who's belly was swollen. Mr. Sniffles waited until late that night. Peter and his grandmother were still awake. Peter's grandmother got on the phone about every 15 minutes, saying she had to 'check on Elizebeth and the baby'. Then, Peter's grandmother put up a banner saying 'Welcome home Baby Lewis!' Then, about 10 minutes later, Peter's father entered the house with a big grin on his face, saying they had a new member in their family.
3 days after that~
Mr. Sniffles was watching Peter's father fry some bacon when Peter's mother entered the room, holding something tiny wrapped in cloth. Mr. Sniffles walked over, eager to see what was in it. He reared up and looked. A tiny baby lay asleep in her arms. The baby opened it's eyes. Seeing Mr. Sniffles, it reached out a tiny hand and grabbed his nose lightly. Mr. Sniffles wagged his tail, eager to get a better view of the baby. Elizabeth, Peter's mother, set the baby down and Mr. Sniffles looked at him. Peter then gently pushed Mr. Sniffles away so he could see the baby. Peter's father then looked. Mr. Sniffles smiled, he had a new member in his family!
2 years after that~
Mr. Sniffles was playing with Peter in the backyard when Elizabeth ran outside and shooed Peter and Mr. Sniffles into the cellar. They waited for about 10 minutes, and the cellar door was open, and 3 men walked in. They saw Mr. Sniffles and ran for him. Peter blocked their way, but they pushed him aside and clipped a leash on Mr. Sniffles. Peter kicked and screamed and punched. "No! My boy needs me!" He howled, yanking back on the leash, trying to break the leather rope. Then Peter's parents entered the room and held him back. Peter screamed in defiance, tears streaming down his cheeks. Mr. Sniffles lunged for the man holding the leash, biting the hand holding the leash. The man gasped in pain and let go, sucking on his bleeding hand. Mr. Sniffles ran back to Peter, licking his face. Peter held his collar, "Your not taking my dog!"
"Sorry boy, but you can't argue with the president." Peter gasped and Mr. Sniffles felt the leash clip on his collar again. He whirled around biting the leash. Peter wrenched from his parents grip, and clenched his fists, "You can't take my dog! He is part of my family!" Peter's fist flew through the air, landing on the man's head.
"Peter!" Elizabeth gasped, grabbing her son by the wrists and holding him back. The man fell, blood slowly trickling from his head. Mr. Sniffles was wrenched from Peter's grip, and dragged, snarling, out the cellar door and into a pure white van with two other dogs.
In the Lab~
Mr. Sniffles stuck his nose in the corner the minute the put in in his cage. He has tried to escape twice, but has been caught and put back. He never talks to any dog, just giving them a sorrwful look and turned back to putting his nose in the corner.

Name: Samson.
Age: 3 years old.
Gender: Brute\Dog.
Picture/Description: Samson is a little taller than most wolf-dogs but, only just. He is quite stocky and muscly with long lean legs. His eyes are rimmed black and are a honey brown. His fur is almost white with greys, blacks and browns mixed in.
Test Subject number: KX994.
Personality: This brute is rather laid-back and care free, some consider him to by a little on the lazy side- which is partly true, but when he has\feels he needs to he will pull his weight. He is somewhat snappy and extremely protective about thoughts he knows\likes\loves and will do anything for them- yes even die for them. Samson will not go down without a fight and if he knows his not going to win a fight he will often try to get himself out of the fight by sweet talking his opponent to stop. He is also quite sly and possessive, if he thinks that he can talk you into doing something he will.
History: Nothing really outstanding just a normal puppy hood. When he turned one year old he has taken away to the place he lives now.

Name: Willow.
Age: 2 years old.
Gender: Fae\Bitch.
Picture/Description: This fae is quite lean and thin with long lender legs and small paws. She has a narrow muzzle and amber eyes. Her pelt is black and she has a tan underside and legs, she also has a tan spot above each eye- she looks a lot like a kelpie (probably because her farther was one).
Test Subject number: AL398
Personality: This fae is quite shy and is easily scared. She will often use the braver bigger dogs as a shield- when she can, otherwise she just whimpers and curls up into a ball. Willow is quite a cowed and wold rather talk then fight but, if she has to fight she would, after some time.
History: Just a normal life- till she was 1 1\2 and was brought here.
Other: Nope.

Picture/Description:"Well, the people say I look more like a wolf than a dog." Body structure and coat much like that of his Red Wolf father.

Personality: "Uhh... I dunno..." He's shy and generally skittish and fearful. He's normally quiet and tends to keep to himself. Being a youngster, he's got maturing to do, and is pretty jumpy. However, despite being constantly nervous and skittish, he is very sweet and innocent, and would never hurt a fly.
History: "I'd rather not talk about it...." He was born at one of the wolf-dog farms to his German Shepherd mix mother as the runt of the litter of Red Wolf hybrids. He was purchased as an 8 week old by an elderly woman who lovingly raised him to his current age. Only a few months ago he was abducted from his home once the law forbidding wolf-dogs was brought down, and taken to the facility where he now fearfully resides.
Extra: "Just this silly 'ol thing they make me wear here..." The light chain-link collar with a dog tag that has his test number engraved on it attached.

Gender: "... Was- Was that a serious question..." He is one hundred percent ma-male.
Picture/Description:"Hehheh, you tell me, sweetheart." Looks like your average wolf-dog, only his coat is a darker brown than most others.

Personality: "Heh, heh, wouldn't you like to know." Kelso can be summed up in a few simple words: Cocky, Lazy, Sarcastic, and Apathetic. He cares little for anything other than himself, and lives for his own personal gain. He's quite the flirt, and has a lack of a verbal filter. He's also not quite the sharpest tool in the shed, and tends to be very sassy.
History: "Pfff, wot's it to 'ya?" Born on the streets to his Belgian Malinois mother, Kelso lived his entire life as a stray, living off of scraps and stolen food from humans. That is, until the banning law went into affect, when the streets were swept clean of any wolf-dogs by the scientists, resulting in his capture. He's been at the facility for many months now, and has grown rather fond of the lazy lifestyle it provided... so far, anyway.
Extra: "Not a fing." Kelso has a heavy Cockney accent, distorting his words.

History: "Well... I-i-i, have strange parents... My father is a wolf... while my mother sh-she, is a siberian husky..." Her parents were forced to mate in a canine breeding center. After she was born, her mother was taken to dogsledding and her father was taken to a zoo.

Streak walked and saw a herd of elk. She gracefully jumped on a sick, weak, old bull elk and bit his neck.

@Mayah-umm they're in a Lab for Wolf-Dogs, so you can't be in a forest hunting elk-youre either in a cage or in the labs ready to be tested.
@Jim-well you haven't really missed much, most of the Wolves are in their cages and have just been fed, so yeah there's only been a few posts-so as I previously said you haven't missed a thing :)

The scrawny youngster lay in the back of his cage, his tail end facing the wire door, where a bowl of "fresh" food had recently been supplied by the human scientists that ran the joint. Head between his forepaws, Jehan stared blankly at the metal wall just in front of his nose, his large ears splayed on the sides of his head. The Red Wolf cross let out a heavy sigh, ignoring the consistent barking and yelping of his canine comrades, and the fact that there was a meal just behind him. He was simply not in the mood for eating. In fact, he hadn't eaten a bite in the past couple of days. His gnawing hunger did bother him, but he chose merely to ignore it; too focused on his own fear and sorrow to care.

Kelso lay sprawled out in his cage, between his jaws was clenched a large bone, all leftover from the meal the humans tossed in only minutes ago. Holding the end of the bone with his forepaws, the brute mindlessly gnawed away at the other end of it, rather comfortable despite his current situation. "If they keep this up, I just might grow 'ta like this place." He muttered to himself with a smirk, free food always being a winning point in his book. Flopping over to his back, he lazily lay sprawled out, still absent mindedly chewing away at the bone without a care in the world.

Suri twitched her ears and looked around. She saw wolf-dogs of so many colors and sizes, wondering why creatures such as these deserves to be locked up. It was amazing, to her, really. That humans could do this. The dusty female snorted and began to scratch at her ear. "Dang, I think these cages are giving me fleas." She barked.

Letting out a shaking sigh, Jehan's ears couldn't help but twitch to unintentionally catch the words of the female in a cage nearby. Lifting his head, the youngster glanced over his shoulder, eyes growing wide at the words of the stranger. "F-fleas?" He stammered. Just the word made his skin crawl. "Are- are you sure there's fleas in the cages? I mean- they're metal. I wouldn't think that they could l-live here." He murmured, throwing nervous glances at the walls surrounding him and shuttering a bit at the thought of the tiny parasites latching onto his flesh.

As Kelso grew bored with the bone he had been gnawing on for the past few minutes, he rolled back onto his stomach and let the bone drop from his jaws. Licking his maw, he flicked his ears forward at the complaints of the other two about fleas. "Oh quit yer cryin'. This place ain't so bad." He remarked with a smirk, casually sitting up to mindlessly scratch his neck with his hind paw. "I mean, free meals three times 'a day, free shelter,- I mean, it's not like it's anyfin' fancy, but hey, wot else do 'ya need." He shrugged, slumping back down to a laying position. " 'Sides, whinin' won't get 'ya nowhere."

The scrawny fae quickly became bored of her meal, slinking down the hallway with her ears pointed forward. Edme snapped at the bars of the cages, gurgling a cackle before trotting towards the younger dogs. "Quit 'yer crying, rats. Fleas are the leas' of our problems." Edme's Yorkshire accent boomed through the bars, eying Jehan and Suri with dark goldenrod eyes. The fae was located outside- she was mostly used to stop or beat up other wolfdogs when they were not acting like they should. Giving a quick nip at her tightened harness, the hybrid slipped down onto her matted belly and pushed her muzzle through Jehan's cage with a ghastly crooked smile curled upon her lips.

Jika huffed sat up once again. She licked her back fur and side fur before standing up. Just then a scientist came and stood in front of her cage. She bared her terth and lunged at him throung the bars. Jika barked and growled while he stood there. The scientist was unfazed and jotted down some things on a clipboard before walking away.

Kanti turned to see the fae who entered in the cage besider her-a smile growing across the yearlings face as she dipped her head at the older canine. "H-hey!" She barked a little with a wag of her tail. She had now finished her meal and nothing was left but the pale white bone that lay inside it. Pushing it aside she looked into the many other cages that were placed around the room-her brow raising for a moment as they spoke about flease-turning to another youngster who seemed to have gotten himself involved. Kanti decided to stay out the rant for a few moments and placed her head on her paws-the faes gaze switching from one dog to another.
Akecheta continued shredding off the meat from the bone-and it didn't take long thanks to his razor like fangs. Running his tongue across his lipst the brute then gripped the bone inbetween his front paws and began chomping down on the other end-his tough wolf like teeth making it easy to chew away at the bone. His ears twitching as others began crying about flease-rolling his eyes he spoke "I hightly doubt there's flease in the cage unless you had them, those critters wouldn't last long in those cages without something to feed off-just quite whining once you go into the lab you'll be checked anyway.." He mutteres quickly going back to his bone.

Staring downward as he waited for a reply, Jehan's attention was drawn to the scrawny black furred female who had just managed to wriggle her muzzle between the tight bars of his cage. The ghastly look upon the canine's face sent a shiver up the youngster's spine, and he slowly scooted backwards until his back was to the back wall of his cage. "Um-m, h-hello?" He whimpered, a weak, obviously fearful half smile briefly appearing across his maw. Something about this mutt didn't seem right.

The words of the female who was not bound by the cages echoed through Kelso's cell, making his tattered ears prick forward with interest. Sitting up, he glanced over to see the black hybrid harassing the yearling in the nearby cage. "Heh heh. There 'ya go. Showin' 'im wot for, eh? Serves 'im right for all 'is whinin' 'an cryin' all the bloody time." He remarked with an amused chuckle, eyebrows lowered as he smirked at the female with amusement. Casually, he leaned his head down a bit to lightly scratch at an itch on his ear, then straightened back up. "You oughta rough 'im up a bit. Gotten toughen out the weaklin's." He added with a cackle, his heavy Cockney accent stringing through his words. Though he normally didn't care for egging on hostility, he needed some sort of entertainment before his brain rots from boredom, and at the moment, he could find nothing better than to watch a little- wrestling match.

"Geez, I get it, ok?" Suri muttered, hearing the remarks from the others. She looked at the others, bound in cages like her. "I'm just trying to lighten the mood, is all. You know, since we're in cages and everything?" She said. She wasn't feeling like herself today, mostly because she felt that she was going to be experimented on soon. She shivered and laid back on the metal ground.

She sighed a small tear dropped down her face. She reached her muzzle towards the male's tag she latched onto it and threw it into his cage she then said "Your experiment date is on it.. I know because my girl taught me to read." She started to cry silently. She then said "My name is..Ashka."

Edme chuckled at the boy's reaction, lifting her head up at the wining little rats as they sounded up from their cages. "Shut the hell up before ay' bite your tongues out, rats!" She roared, a scratchy cackle bursting from her vocal cords as she slunk down the hallway with a crooked grin. "It'll be lights out soon, and ay' want you doggies quiet by the time it is." She snorted, scrunching her muzzle with a low rumble before splaying across the floor next to Kelso's cage. "I don't to brawls, mate. The least ay' need is those damned humans coming over." SF666 pricked her ears, laying one paw over the other as a slight shiver crept through her spine.

With a light sigh of relief, Jehan relaxed a little, perking his ears at the harsh words of the other hybrids nearby, though he chose to ignore them. He whimpered quietly to himself once more before slowly lowering himself down to lay on his belly, his large sad eyes centered on the floor.

"That's all you can think of, m'lady? I'm sorry, I apologise." She huffed, spitting some drool at the canine before perking her ears back at Kelso. "Good one, mate." She winked, passing her tongue over her nose before padding across the hallways. The clock read 10 PM, and it was the usual time for them to sleep before waking up early in the morning. "Lisen' up, yer' rats, lights out. If ay' 'ere protestin', ay'm cutting 'yer tongues out and cooking them for breakfast." A loud snap was heard across the hallways from Edme's ivories clanking together before she hopped up and turned off the bright lights by flipping the switch down. The room was engulfed in blackness, and Edme's faint shadow splayed across the cold floor before closing her eyes with an exhale. "No more shite from you tonight." She ordered.

Jehan, with his ears laid back as usual, flinched as the lights sudden shut off. His world engulfed by blackness, he couldn't hold back the whimper of anxiety. He'd been here for months now, but still wasn't used to the light's out policy. The dark had always frightened the youngster, but the dark on top the hostile environment only shook up his nerves even more. Muscles quivering, the Red Wolf mix slowly, cautiously lowered himself down to lay in the back of his cage. To block out any of the creepy images the darkness made his mind imagine, he clenched his eyes tightly shut, even though he wasn't tired.

He questioned sarcastically as the lights were cut off and darkness quickly flooded the room. "'An just 'ow do you intend on doin' that? Look around. I don't fink that's the first fing on everyone's minds." He commented in a careless tone, though he could no longer visibly see the canine he was speaking to.

Others are trying to have a decent nap. Shut the hell up before ay' bite your muzzle clean off!" Edme snapped through the bars, almost brushing her fangs against the wolfdog's matted fur. "G'night 'errybody." She barked before retreating back into the darkness, her amber eyes glowing goldenrod before they too were dimmed by the sudden lighting.

Though he wanted to speak up against the constant arguing and fighting, he kept silent, far too afraid of the other high-strung canines' reactions- especially Edme. He feared her more than the human scientists themselves. Covering his face with a forepaw, the yearling let out a sigh, knowing the only thing to do now to make the dark go away quicker was to sleep, as restless as it would be.

She huffed and laid her head back down and tried to get back to sleep.

Finally drifting into a light sleep, Jehan let his muscles relax at last- that is until one of the nearby hybrids howled her demands for silence, making him spring to his feet in surprise, and in the process nail the top of his head on the low ceiling of his cage with a loud clang! Wincing and whimpering in pain, the yearling quickly sat back down, now keeping his head low, rather dizzy from hitting it so hard. With a shaking sigh, he clenched his eyes closed again as if to fight back the tears that fought to break the dam and flow down his face. Though, because of the blinding darkness, this time, he allowed it. One small droplet fell to the metal floor with a light tap, leaving a tiny trail of wet fur on Jehan's face as the youngster lay back down. I miss my old home. He thought, resting his head between his forepaws with an audible sigh.

The fae's threat forced an entertained smirk across his face, and he raised a sarcastic eyebrow as he tipped his head to the side. "That a threat? Heh. All 'a you's got some real nerve wif them mouths 'a yer's. 'Ow 'bout you juss' keep that trap 'a yer's shut, 'ya fussock. Don't want that big bad patrol dog to get all up in yer' beef, now do 'ya? Didn't fink so. We'll see who's all bark 'n no bite once-" His cocky sentence was cut short, interrupted by the sudden howling of one canine, demanding peace in the room. Blinking, he flashed the fae one last crooked smirk before turning his back on her. "G'night, then, sweetheart!" He snickered, plopping down to his belly.

Kantis head dropped as many words flew out of the other canines' mouths, a sigh escaping the yearlings maw as she shuffled awkwardly to the back of her cage. She thought she was the youngest here as she was only 1 and a half and maybe the others would try and rule her? A sigh escaped her mouth once again as all the canines seemed to have stopped and maybe going to sleep. Huffing she ran her tongue across her nose then lifted to her slender legs- circling then dropping herself to the cold surface of her cage-a shiver running up her spine. The Wolf-Dog Hybrid struggled to keep her eyes open-her eye lids becoming heaving and soon closing. It didn't take long for Kanti to drift off into a light sleep.

The constant muttering of voices had begun to grow at Atek-causing him to snap his attention up from the bone he was previously feasting on. His eyes narrowed as he lifted to his paws-just about to tell them to shut their holes. But all suddenly seemed quiet and most seemed to be resting or either going to sleep-a huff escaping the brutes maw as he grabbed his bone and faced the front of his cage-dropping it then lowering himself down. "About time!" He moaned to himself. But Akecheta soo brushed it off and was back to chewing on his bone as usual.

The black fae snapped, angrily pacing down the hallways with her ears threateningly flattened against her temple. "If ay' don't see your eyes closed and your mouth's shut, I'll personally come over and stuff yer' ears into yer' bloody mouth and rip out yer' eyeballs!" Roaring out the last curses, Edme dragged herself towards Jehan's cage before silently pushing her muzzle through the cold bars. "It's alright lass, at least you're not one of the troublemakers." She couldn't bear to see a youngling crying- it made her feel guilty. The fae's head snapped back as she slowly padded over and snatched one of her pillows, pushing it between the bars and over to the scrawny pup. "There, laddie'." Without another word, she pushed another towards Kelso, brushing a paw over her wet nose. She actually liked the guy- one of the rare smarts in this damned base. Curling up in the middle of the hallway, her goldenrod eyes shined platinum from the metal's reflections before she losed them shut.

A booming voice echoed down the hallway causing the yearlings head to dart up-seeing the scrawny black fae pacing down the corridors, her deep voice shouting harsh words to the others who couldn't seem to sleep. A whimper escaped her maw as she shuffled backwards in her cage-shaking slightly as she continued to growl at the older canines. Once the fae stopped and passed another yearling a piilow she watched-a huff escaping her maw. She watched the black canine wide eyes as she passed her cage, pushing herself into the corner and placing her head on her paws. The pawsteps of the older canine seemed to get a little quieter a whimper escaping her maw once again. Sighing the yearling sat motionless in her cage. [/colror]

Atek continued grinding down the bone with his strong fangs-the brutes tail quietly and gently sliding across the cold metal floor. His ears twitching as a booming voice echoed through the hall way-he knew it would of been that canine 'Edme' who seemed to think she had a higher rank than anyone, well that's what he though anyway. He watched as she thundered down the corridor and snapping harsh words to the others-a sligh grin of amusement on his face. It seemed most of the canines were scared of the fae-but it appeared her wasn't. He heard whimpers coming from the cage not to far away-the canine he knew as Kanti a younger canine who seemed to be startled "Don't worry kid.." He muttered, but it seemed the yearling was in shock. Shrugging he turned his attention back onto the bone, and continued eating it.

A subtle gasp of fright escaped the youngster's maw at the sight of the large female from earlier. Flattening his ears, he scrambled backwards a bit as she approached his cage. However, his fearful expression faded into one of surprise and confusion when she shoved a pillow towards him. Large ears craned forward, Jehan stared down at the pillow, then back up at the black pelted fae. "I- I- Uh- T-thank you." He stammered, his mixture of nervousness and surprise altering his speech. As Edme curled up in the hallway, Jehan's startled gaze fell upon another yearling in the cage beside him, Kanti, according to her tag. Noticing she was visibly just as shaken as he was, he drew his ears back in sympathy. Grasping the pillow given to him lightly in his jaws, he stuffed it between the bars separating them until it had flopped into Kanti's kennel. "You can have it. You need it more than I do." He whimpered quietly, flashing a weak smile before laying back down to the metal floor.

The sudden outburst of Edme quickly jolted Kelso from his light dozing as she scolded the talking canines, though a smirk quickly flashed upon his face upon recognizing her voice. Shoving himself to his four, he turned around, always interested in seeing others get what's commin' to them. His tattered ears flicked forward in surprise at the pillow that was shoved towards him. "Heh heh. That's more like it. Thanks, sweetheart." He purposely overused the term 'sweetheart' when addressing females for the sake of sarcastic flirting. Flashing a quick cocky wink at Edme, Kelso flopped down onto the pillow with a snicker, his gaze wandering to the females he had argued with previously. "Heh, told 'ya yer' whinin' wouldn't getcha nowhere." He cackled, raising his eyebrows at them then resting his head down on the pillow.

Kanti looked at Jehan as he shuffled to his paws then picking up the pillow and pushing it through the bars of her cage-the yearling tilted her head in confusion to why he had done that. But he soon explained himsel. Looking at the pillow then back up at the brute a questioned look on her face "You sure? I mean it was given to you, and you need it?.." She questioned shifting her gaze towards the black canine, then slowly turning back towards the young Wold-Dog. An idea soon shone through her head "Maybe we could shar it? Like put it half and half through the cage? Edme may get mad at me for taking it..." She sighed looking back at the larger canine, but soon back at Jehan with a smile.

He murmured softly with a friendly smile, letting his tail sweep side to side slowly, the first time he'd wagged his tail since coming here. "My name is Jehan, by the way." The youngling introduced himself, dipping his head a bit. He made sure to keep his voice down out of fear of Edme snapping at them.

Suri twitched her ears as she listened to the others talking. It seemed we were finally getting along, at least. "At least some of us are making friends," she mumbled to herself. "Too bad Edme's scaring everyone more then we already are." It seemed everyone was scared of her. Who wouldn't? But it didn't really matter too the dusty wolfdog. She just wanted sleep.

Edme had already spotted the two youngling chatting about, only giving off a snicker of amusement before resting her head onto her paws once more. The bitter cold nipped at her ear tufts, making her splay them over her scalp with a slight shudder.

Mr. Sniffles lay his head on his paws. He could hear some other dogs talking at the far side of the room, but he didn't care to look who. A scientist walked back and knelt infront of his cage. "Are you going to release me?" Mr. Sniffles asked this queestion to every scientist who stopped infront of his cage. The scientist filled his food and water bowl up, muttered a goodnight, and left. When Mr. Sniffles thought nobody was looking, he gobbled his meal right up. He lapped up some water. The wolf-dog then walked to the center of his cage, curled up, and closed his eyes.

Mr. Sniffles was in a field of wildflowers. He wagged his tail as he enjoyed their smell. "Mr. Sniffles!" Peter! Mr. Sniffles turned, and saw Peter running towards him, his arms wide. Mr. Sniffles ran at him, but nomatter how hard or fast he ran, Peter was too far. "My boy! I need you!" He yelped and woke up.

"Hey! Buddy!" Mr. Sniffles looked up to see a brown and black dog in the next cage. "You ok? You were barkin' and yappin' and your tail was waggin'!"
"Yea... I am ok... I just miss my home and my boy."
"Everyone misses their home! If you were the only one I'd feel sorry for you!" The dog snarled.
Mr. Sniffles flinched at the dog's sudden fury. Mr. Sniffles turned and lay down in the corner, sticking his nose in like he was in trouble. "What time is it?"
"Still night. That dream of yours wasn't very long." The dog answered with a sniff.
"Ok."

Kanti looked at the Wolf-Dog she now knew at Jehan-a smile plastered across the yearlings face as she dipped her head at the brute, glad he had accepted her idea about the pillow. "And my names Kanti!" She whispered with a slightly happier tone. It was the first time she had really spoke to someone else in this place-only ones who made an attempt with her was obviously the sceintists, Akecheta and Jehan. Shuffling quietly to her paws her fluffy tail began to wag_grabbing the large with pillow she began pushing it through the bars-carefully so it went through half was. Once doing so she plopped onto her haunches and looked at Jehan with her ears perked, a smile on her face and her tail slwoly sliding back and forth across the bottom of the cage.

Atek heard the mumblind of voices coming from both sides of the room-glancing to his left he spotted two older dogs talking-something about a dream from what he heard. Shrugging he turned to the right and glanced at the two yearlings who seemed to be having a conversation. A smile seemd to form on the bitter brutes face-something that was very rarely seen. For some reason he seemed to have a soft spot for the younger generation and was happy to see the two had made friends-something that would be important to them if they were to even make it through this place. The smile soon vanished from his face as he glanced around, letting out a sigh he pushed the bone towards the back of his cage and placed his head on his paws. Looking towards the roof of the building he let out a sigh "Goodnight Armani.." He muttered towards his sister, the brutes eyes slowly closed and he drifted off.

Mr. Sniffles was still listening to the dogs at the other side of the room, even if he couldn't make it out. He looked behind him, seeing the brown and black wolf-dog had had a space in the bars and got his nose through, "What's your name?"
"Mr. Sniffles."
"Mr. Sniffles?"
"Yea. My boy named me that when he was a pup."
"Oh! My name is King. My human named me that."
Mr. Sniffles walked up to his food bowl. A little pill lie in there. Fury surged through him, "They are trying to feed me medicine! Do they think I am sick?!" He barked. King looked at him through the bars, "Well, they probably do, why else?" Mr. Sniffles picked up the bowl and threw it across the cage.
"Put it back, Mr. Sniffles!" King yipped.
"Why? It had medicine in it!"
"The humans don't go in the cages, because they don't like getting bitten. So if they can't reach your food bowl, you won't get any food!"
Mr. Sniffles picked up the pill in his mouth and tossed it through the bars and against the wall. He didn't care what happened to it. The wolf-dog picked up the metal bowl, and put it against the front cage wall. King nodded in approval.
"Do you know how to get out?" King asked.
"I escaped twice, but I was always got and put back. No use trying again because I will just get caught and put in my cage again."
"Do you know how to undo the lock?"
"I know you have to push down on it because I seen humans do it, but I can't reach my paw through."

Jehan gazed down as the female stuffed half of the pillow back through the bars, then introduced herself as well. Perking his ears at her, he smiled shyly. "Oh, nice to- meet you." He responded in his usual quiet tone, a weak smile faintly cracking his maw as he returned his gaze back down. Letting out a subtle huff, the yearling slowly lowered himself so that his upper body was resting on his half of the pillow, though his shoulder was crammed against the bars. "How long are they gonna keep us in here?" He couldn't help but whimper as he spoke, his optics gazing between the bars and up at the other canine.

Kelso, who had by then already dozed off on his side, quite comfortably on his new pillow, placed a forepaw over his ear, annoyed by the conversing of the two nearby brutes, from what he heard known as 'Mr.Sniffles' and 'King'. Overhearing the name Mr.Sniffles made the sleepy wolf-dog burst into subtle laughter. Mr.Sniffles? The bloody hell kinda name is that? Kelso couldn't help but think to himself. His tired mind quickly changed his chuckling mood into one of annoyance as the two strangers continued speaking, disturbing his sleep once more. "Oi, Sniffles-" He snapped with a growl, though speaking the humerous name made a quick smirk flash across his face, but it quickly faded. "Will you two quit 'yer yappin' already? Some of us're tryin' 'ta get our beauty sleep!" He grumbled.

The small femmora stood up once again she growled lowly as she lifted her paw and carefully pushed down the latch as she pulled the top she then inched out slowly and gracefully she then looked down as she stepped on a pill, her pupil's shrunk as she slipped on it landing quietly on her abdomen. With the smallest whine she slowly and carefully got back to her paws. She started to go into a rather fast trot as she was so close to freedom she pawed at the door gently as the door creeped open and shut silently. She walked around the scientists were everywhere her pupil's shrunk as she saw one approaching she quickly scrambled to the side unseen somehow she looked around as suddenly "YELP!!!" A scientist stepped on her tail, she whined as she quickly ran around she hopped onto desks growling loudly warning them not to touch her.

Being curled up on her pillows, everything was mostly quiet- that is until the damned miss got out. Jumping up, the dark canine's jowls parted to rasp out a booming roar before pivoting off her haunches and pelting through the door and into the hallways. "Get back 'ere, you rat!" Edme rumbled, dashing towards the confused female with a sudden leap towards her. The canine was basically trapped in the mass of guards, so catching her shouldn't be a problem. As she was about to deliver a blow, an armed guard quickly snatched Ashka by her scruff and started to drag her away back into her cell with Edme at his heels.

It's not feeding time, and just because of yer' little stunt, yer' not being fed tommorow." The black canine cackled, snapping at Ashka's muzzle before retreating into darkness. "Go to sleep, you miserable rats!"

The grey canine heard the booming of voices and the scattering of lab equipment-her head darted up as she peered through the windos of the well lit room. It seemed one of the wolves had escaped from its cage-the yearling let out a sigh_the question from Jehan approaching her ears caused her head to turn her her gaze down on the brute. A shrug took over the faes shoulders as a sigh escaped past her lips "I really don't know, I hope its not long though-this place is a night mare.." The youngster huffed as she shuffled down onto her stomach-her head on the pillow and her side on the floor-her paws almost touching the bars as she curled up a little-her brown orbs locked onto the yearling in the opposite cage.

The conversations from the other Wold-Dogs continued echoing into the brutes ears-but he didn't seem to mind. Akechetas head suddenly bolted up as he hear one of the canines in a near by cage snapping at another in the further end of the room-huffing he turned to face the yearlings who seemed to be having a quiet conversation. They seemed to be sharing and getting along-something many Canines in this place failed to do. His attention soon turning to the lab as a big situation was caused by one of the Canines "Dumb mutt.." he muttered to himself knowing the Canine did do a bad thing-but in a way he could understand. With a shake of his head and a sigh he lowered his head back onto his paws.

Mr. Sniffles looked across the cages to see the brownish wolf-dog that told them to be quiet, "Sorry.." He silently muttered.
"You said you escaped twice, and you can't get your paw through?" King whispered.
"The humans moved me here to prevent me from escaping again. I can't reach the lock."
"Do you atleast know how to undo them?"
"There is a nub on the lock. You have to push it down really hard." Mr. Sniffles whispered.
"Maybe you can escape and set me loose too." King smiled and panted.
"But what about the other dogs? I bet they have loving families I like did."
The light of dawn slowly filtered through the cage bars. Mr. Sniffles looked at a high window, seeing the dawn light.
"Another day of torture." King muttered.
"Not so long as I can help it."
Mr. Sniffles reached his paw through the bars. He twisted so it was touching the black lock.
"Dude! What the crap are you doing?! You are going to get yourself killed! Stop it! I am serious!" King kept on protesting, but Mr. Sniffles ignored him. He twisted again, trying to push down the nub. The bar pressed into his skin, blood trickling down to the floor. Mr. Sniffles pulled his paw back in, licking the scar on his leg where the bar had pierced the skin.
"You idiot!" King yelled. "You know better than to try something stupid like that! You will either die of bloodloss trying to undo that thing, or get killed by the humans!"
"I don't care."

The yearling finally whimpered after a brief moment of silence, gesturing to the lab doors with his optics. Just the mere thought of the probable torture that waited just beyond those two huge doors sent a shiver down the youngster's spine.

Once the room fell faintly silent again, Kelso returned to his content dozing. However, the continued conversation of the two brutes once again broke the silence, making the hybrid sit up once more. "Oi! 'Ow many times do I 'ave 'ta say it. Shut yer bloody tr-" He cut his sentence short upon noticing the dark grey male had managed to slip his paw out of the cage and was now attempting to unlock it. Blinking, Kelso perked his ears forward, watching the attempt with a look of amusement on his maw. "You really fink you can get out? Ha! Yeah, 'ave fun wif them humans once they come 'round 'an see 'ya tryin' to escape. They'll cut that paw right off, they will. I'd advise against escapin' like that- if it weren't for the fact that I really don't care wot 'appens to you lot." The wolf-dog cackled, the crooked grin stuck on his face. Suddenly, the lab doors slid open and two scientists entered the room, probably to search for a new test subject. Kelso snickered, knowing they'd probably notice the escaping canine. "On wif the show, then!" He remarked with a laugh, sitting back on his haunches to watch what would happen next.

Suri was tired, and all she wanted was sleep. She didn't want any talk of the lab, and it made her sick just thinking about it. The dusty wolf-dog nuzzled her head deeper into her paws, trying to block out the noises. I would love it if everybody would be quiet, she thought with a sigh. She curled her tail around herself and scooted closer to the wall.

Mr. Sniffles stopped licking when the bleeding stopped. He looked at the lock. King was yelling at him in the other cage
"You idiot! You can't do crazy things like that! You know what the humans will do to you! They are going t-" King jumped back as Mr. Sniffles thrust his paw through the bars again. He pushed down part of the nub.
"Ugh! This stupid bar won't let me unlock it..!"
A few other dogs began barking, some cheering him on while others told him to stop or he will die. The lab door flew open and Mr. Sniffles took his paw back in.
"What the dickens is going on in here?!" The scientist yelled, walking in. He muttered a curse and looked at the dogs, sneering and walked back out, the door slamming behind him.
The other dogs remained silent, looking at what Mr. Sniffles would do next.
Mr. Sniffles looked at King, who was silent, his ears pricked and his tail curved around his body and wagging slowly.
Mr. Sniffles sniffed the bar that prevented him from escaping.

Kanti shuffled around a little to get comfortable-her paws tucked in as she stared at the back of Jehans head for a moment. Listening t his question she opened her maw to speak but was interupted by all the shouting-looking at the others she sighed. 'We aren't making noise we're whispering' she thought to herself. Rolling onto her stomach her head remained on the pillow. "I don't know, maybe we're here for breeding, or tests.." The yearling shrugged she wasn't really sure why they were actually brought here.
Akechetas head shot up as he heard shouting and arguing continuing-a snarl rumbling up his throat as he galnced around at each canine with narrowed eyes-his tail flicking in annoyance as he cleared his throat. "Well maybe if you stop complaining and try and sleep it'll happen, quit making a huge fuss.." He snapped he wasn't bothered about the conversations as they were easy to be drained out but the constant moans had begun to grow on him. "Paws back in your cage fools, you aint escaping here!" Atek snapped one last times as he watched a few canines trying to escaped. Shaking his head the large Wolf-Dog placed his head back on his paws.

Jehan shivered at the concept, his large triangular ears laid back against his head. "w-what kind of tests?" He managed to whimper out before the sudden entrance of the scientists. The shouting man made the yearling scramble up in alarm, head low and muscles quivering, watching as the scientist scolded the dogs then stormed out of the room. With another nervous whine, he cautiously lowered himself back down to rest his head back on the pillow, his weary gaze never once shifting from those large double doors.

'Juss knock off that stupid attempt at escape. We all know's it ain't gonna 'appen. 'Sides, the humans're probably gonna' intervene now. You're juss' askin' for it." He snickered, an apathetic smirk plastered on his maw as he eyed the brute in the nearby cage who had once more stuck his paw out of the bars.

A sigh escaped the yearlings maw-but she didn't have a chance to say anything as a sceintist burst in then stormed back out. Her gaze slowly turned to the brute who seemed startled "Its fine, come on!" She whispered her tail wagging-snarling as the other dogs continued to yell. "I don't know what tests, but we will be alright.." She assured trying to make Jehan feel better.
Akecheta snarled as the other canines continued muttering, his gaze on the scientist who had came barging in-turning to see the brute who was also reassuring a foolish canine who made an attempt to escaped. "Listen to him mutt, you aint gettin' out of here no matter how much ya try-not alive any ways.." He shrugged smirking as he lowered his head to his paws once more.

If you keep up 'yer blabberin' you'll just draw more attention for the scientists to come 'an pull 'ya out for testin'-..." He paused, glancing down and smirking as he thought over the concept. "Heh, on second thought, go ahead 'n continue chattin'. I could use a bit 'a entertainment from you lot bein' dragged out by the scruff." The hybrid cackled, tail wagging in self amusement.

Kanti looked at Jehan and tilted her head as he spoke-hurt? She didn't think the tests would be that bad, would they? Letting out a sigh to herself the yearling responded. "Don't worry, I won't let them hurt you!" She smiled-the fae always seemed to be trying to brighten the mood a little, turning to hear the dogs continuing to snarl for once a snarl escaped her maw. "I don't see their problem, they're making more noise complaining!" She huffed watching as the male curled up "Don't worry.." She smiled placing her head back on her paws. The deep voice of one of the older dogs as it snapped, but seemes to also tease the others-an amused look appeared across her face for a split second.

"You know, while that seems hilarious to you, it might not be so funny to the rest of us. In fact, what if one of those scientists were to come in and drag you out of here? Would it be so funny then?"
She snapped at him. The dusty wolf-dog pinned her ears back and glanced at te floor, then back at Kelso.

The youngling glanced hopefully up at his new friend and smiled in brief reassurance. The sudden entrance of the two scientists made him scramble upwards, ears craned forward in frozen alarm. Though he hated to see any fellow canine go through the unknown testing just behind the double doors, Jehan was relieved to know that they hadn't chosen him. With a sigh, he slid down to his belly, watching as the two men transported the oddly relaxed brown wolf-dog into the back room.

Kelso scowled at the fae known as Suri and rolled his eyes. "Pff, don't getchur tail in a knot, sweetheart. Ain't noffin' wrong wif 'avin' a good laugh, is there?" He cackled, raising his eyebrows slyly at the female across the way. At the sound of the lab doors creaking open, his ears flickered backwards against his head. Lowering a brow at the other female named Viva, he rolled his eyes once more. "Ah shut it, 'ya badger. There ain't noffin' gonna 'appen-"(Yes. He just used "badger" as an insult. xD) As soon as he finished his sentence, his cage door was pulled open by one of the two scientists. Eyes wide in surprise, he let out a defensive snarl as one gloved hand reached towards him. Before he could make a snappy, sarcastic protest, the man slipped an iron muzzle over his maw, thus disabling his immediate reflex to bite. The brute clenched his teeth, wriggling and snarling when they tugged him out of the cage by his scruff and struggled to keep their grip on him as he fought back. After a brief time, Kelso relaxed a bit. Eh. Wot's the worse that could 'appen? He thought, his careless side taking over, much to the surprise of the scientists.

~Anna~ Anna jerked back when she heard the yelling and saw a dog be dragged out. She whined loudly as she looked at everyone with pillows she laid down in the edge of the corner as it have her enough heat to survive. But not enough she then looked at her bowl empty as she heard everyone snapping at each other she closed her eyes the smallest tear falling from her eye she then mumbled "What did I do to deserve this..?"

Jika growled and let out a howl, cutting off everyone who was gonna talk. "Why don't ya all just shut up and worry about your selves?!" She snapped and watched Kelso being drug away. Just then another scientist came in and walked over to her cage. She bared her teeth and narrowed her eyes. She lunged at the scientists through the bars and almost had a finger. Jika watched as the scientist grabbed a piece of meat and shoved something in it. She gobbled up the meat but soon fell asleep. She knew this is what they did when they needed to do something with her. When she awoke she was in another cage but in a room with multiple scientists. All of which were studying her and jotting things down on a clipboard. She huffed and plopped down with her teeth still bared as she glared, narrow eyed at the scientists.

Kelso growled softly as the men stuffed him into another cage inside the lab and removed the muzzle from his mouth. Pacing in a few tight circles, he lay down on his belly with a huff, calmly and lazily watching the activity of the humans with his head between his forepaws. The creaking of a cage door opening made his torn ears flick forward in interest, raising his head to watch as the men placed the unconscious female he knew as Jika in the cage beside his. Shrugging, he put his head back down, oddly relaxed despite his current situation. As he had begun to doze off, he couldn't help but hear the shuffling of Jika as she awoke, her snarling making him lazily gaze over. "Oi, cool it, sweetheart. Growlin' won't do 'ya no good. Why's you so tense anyhow? I don't see the big deal. So they'll give us a few shots or woteva', noffin' to get 'yer tail tangled over." Kelso remarked with a huffed chuckle.

Jika placed her glance on the canine by the name of Kelso as she found he was in thecage beside her. "Shut your trap mutt. I have plenty of reasons to be snappy." She growled. "I've been stuck in this darned building for months on end with no look at sunlight while the rest of you mutts go out at least once a month!" She snarled.

History: Janina was born in a foster home, where she was treated fairly well. But as time went on, she was bullied by her older siblings and ignored by her father, who didn't like her as much. She eventually got adopted into another homer, where the family was gone most of the time. She lived like this until she was taken away to the base.

Anna woke up startled she then said "Where am I?" She realized two other dogs were there she flattened her ears back and said politely "If you would, where am I?" She said looking at them fighting.

Janina sat in her cage, facing the wall. She stared at her paws, in deep thought. Her ears flicked when she heard the sound of her cage door opening and jerked her head around. A scientist with a clipboard was staring back at her. The wolf-dog snarled and backed into the wall. The scientist ignored this and looked at her for a second, then jotted a few things down ok the piece of paper. He did this several times until he finally locked her door back and left. Janina sighed and sat back down. "Vell, vat was that all about?" She asked herself quietly.

You can be next if you want to keep messing with me." She growled. She shot her glance to the newly brought in dog. "Nobody knows mutt." She growled. Her head whipped around to face Kelso. "And don't call me sweet heart again or I'll for sure have ya dead." She snarled.

The wolf-dog snickered once more before sliding down to his belly with a careless huff, crossing his forepaws neatly in front of him. His ears shot forwarad at the sound of the scientists bringing in a new dog. "Heh heh, don't mind this grumpy fussock. You're in the lab." He told the stranger, gesturing to Jika as he said the beginning of his sentence, then fixing his gaze upon the new canine once more.

Edme's feathered paws struck the cold ground of the hallways as she pushed the iron door open, entering the lab that the dogs were in. "Talk in whispers, mates. Ay' don't want to yell at you, realleh'. Mah' vocal-cords are shattered." The husky-mix briskly wettened her lips before seating herself in the middle of the room with her large ears strained forward. "Ay'm on night-duty. This'll be over in a minute, alrigh'?" With that, she rested her head on her silky paws, unamannered claws scratching at the slippery tiles that covered the lab's floor. The stench of chemicals and whatnot was immense -- she could almost taste it. Infact, she did. A strange fluid has dripped down onto her nose, making the grumpy fae sneeze with a slight grumble before getting up to examine it. "A leak. Jus' altered wata'." She pointed it out, raising a paw to catch one of the clear droplets as they sunk through the thick air. "Pff, those humans have nuffin' betta' to do than mutilatin' poor dogs, while the ceiling is crackin' above their heads." Whispering, she moved away from the drops of water to a more comfortable spot on the nearby couch.

The youngling glanced hopefully up at his new friend and smiled in brief reassurance. The sudden entrance of the two scientists made him scramble upwards, ears craned forward in frozen alarm. Though he hated to see any fellow canine go through the unknown testing just behind the double doors, Jehan was relieved to know that they hadn't chosen him. With a sigh, he slid down to his belly, watching as the two men transported the oddly relaxed brown wolf-dog into the back room.

Being away from those dogs who couldn't shut their gobs had relaxed her- and a relaxed Edme- is a good Edme. She couldn't help but notice Kelso in one of the cages, thus crooking her maw in a smirk. "Who do we 'ave 'ere?" Edme scoffed, swashbuckling at the air with her thick tail. "Neva' caught yer' name, tho'." The husky mix stated, putting one white paw over the other while keeping her ears craned forward in interest. Having a good coversation couldn't hurt.

Mrs. Edme? You don't gotta suck up like that, kid." He snickered. The brute perked his ears as Edme spoke up, his usual careless smirk returning to his maw as he dipped his head in a greeting. "Heh. It's Kelso, sweetheart." He remarked, flashing a quick wink.

Raising her furrowed brows, Edme's snout swung towards the large doors she had come through previously- a man walked in, notes in hand as he began to ready the syringes. The crooked grin from Edme's features completely vanished, replaced by a wrinkled muzzle and a large grumble rumbling from the depths of her throat. She was rarely tested on due to her snappy nature, so they mostly used fluids that calmed her down. "G'luck." With a final glance at Kelso, the scrawny female exited the room with head hung low. She curled up in the hallways next to the door, ready to escort them back to their cages when they're finished.

Kelso snickered at the fae. "A'course it was." He chuckled light-heartedly, casually slipping down to lay on his belly, flinching slightly as his skin made contact with the cold metal flooring of his cage. The smirk flushed from his face in slight confusion at Edme's exiting statement, though it was only a brief time before his crooked, careless smile had returned. "Wot? Why would I need luck? They're just a few fools with needles. They ain't so tough." He exclaimed boldly, holding his head high. It seemed that either he didn't quite understand the whole "animal testing" concept, or he chose not to show his true anxiety in order to uphold his whole 'tough guy' persona.

Letting a small amusement grin cover her maw, she looked at Edme it wasn't really her nature to be so nice, she titled her head as the scientists kept using the words "guard", "Edme" and "Anna" She was so confused that she titled her head more times then one, they opened her cage as, Anna snapped her attention to the lab man growling lowly as he didn't mind he just picked her up and put a collar on and tied a string to it and hooked it up to the hall wall and simply just dropped her there, she fell on her side with a growl she got back up and laid down not to her surprise she saw Edme's glare to her eyes, she didn't gasp she just simply sat down careful not to make eye contact.

Kanti's head lifted from the pillow as the large metal doors swung open-allowing a brigh flash of light into the room. Her chocolate eyes followed the men in white as they entered the room and took one of the canines out, she guessed the testing had begun. Shuffling to her paws the yearling watching as the two soon exited the room-her head tilted with confusion. "What do they do to them?" she questioned her voice soft and a little shaken, but loud-her question was directed well to anyone who knew. Kanti's attention soon turned to Jehan who seemed shaken from the incident "Its fine done scared, I bet they'll be fine!" she explained a small smile growing across her face as she remained on her haunches.

The large brute continued to hear the constant muttering of voices, his amber eyes opened as he glanced around letting out an over exhaggerated huff. The large metal doors soon swung open causing his head to lift as he watched the scientists walk past and grab a few dogs, he hated these humans. Lifting to his paws Atek watched narrow eyes at one that past his cage last-a vicious snarl rumbled up his throat then escaped hims maw-as he lunged at the cage causing the human to jump abit. Akecheta let out one last growl as the human exited the room with the Wolf-Dog "Damn scientists!" He snapped to himself, over the weeks Atek seemed to have grown a really strong hate for the humans-dropping to his stomach the brute lay towards the front of his cage, paws sticking out as he glanced around the almost silent room.

The wolf-dog shook her head, getting the thought out of her mind. She looked back at the rest of the dogs surrounding her. This poor souls. they should at least put us in decent containers. i mean, ve are creatures too, aren't ve? She thought. Just then, she felt a sharp pain in her back leg and let out a small yelp. Janina looked down at her paw and saw fresh blood oozing from a cut on her paw pads. She muttered a curse and licked her paw pad, tasting the metallic blood in her mouth. She couldn't put pressure on the paw or it would start bleeding again, plus it hurt.
"Vat did this?" She growled to herself, beginning to think that someone had scratched her on purpose. She looked around and finally saw a stray cage wire sticking out into her cage, a sharp metal point stained with her crimson blood. She rolled her eyes.Exactly. These blasted cages are going to be the death of me!

Snapping her incisors together, the fae merely stood up and padded through the hallways with her silky tail waving behind her. She never liked pups - and she refused to work with one, aswell.

His silvery chestnut fur bristled in anxiety, and he kept his gaze fixed upon the humans until they had walked out of sight.

Once Edme had left, Kelso let out a huff of boredom, completely ignoring the fact that the scientists moved around the lab room in a quick pace to prepare for the testing to come. Their scrambling brought a smirk to the brute's maw. "Pff. Look at those badgers. Runnin' around' all hubble de shuff." He huffed out a snicker, though his smirk quickly faded as the pup in the cage beside his was taken out and into the hallway towards where the other kennels were- and away from the lab room. "Hmph. The youngin's get it good." Kelso muttered, resting his head between his forepaws. He lifted his gaze to notice one scientist, terrifyingly long syringe in hand, standing in front of his cage, immediately making him hop to his paws. He didn't growl at the man, he really didn't even fear the humans, but he kept his head low in a defensive manner and watched the creature through a glare. He was understandably taken by surprise as the man suddenly thrust the needle into his shoulder and injected whatever was inside, forcing a yipe of alarm from him. Instinctively, he snapped his jaws closed around the man's arm, making him drop the syringe before the entire contents were injected.

Kanti glanced at Jehan as he asked the question-her ears flicking as she came up with an answer. "Well, I won't let them!" She grinned with her tail wagging-but the grin soon dissappeared as she watched the brute push back further into his cage-her head tilted.

|Anna| Anna clenched her teeth she was freezing despite the fact that she was now alone, she looked around, suddenly she started to cough loudly and sniffle, getting dizzy as she wobbled around. A scientist peered through the metal door window and saw the pup wobbling and heard the coughing the scientist new that the pup was only suppose to have one sleeping pill, she guessed that she had 3, she watched as it got worse, she called scientists in to the hall stat, one stood infront of Edme and said "I don't know if you did this, but if you did your in BIG trouble. You guys are now a team you have to work together understand me?" Petting the top of Edme's head, he grabbed a pillow and placed it by the pup motioning it that it was ok to fall asleep, no sooner then he did, Anna plopped against the pillow curling up, he grabbed Edme's pillow and dragged it closer to Anna, he then whistled for Edme to come to her pillow, and no sooner then that he walked out of the hall.
Anna woke up she felt her legs trembling she was freezing. She looked to Edme, she then said "Mrs. Edme, I am cold." sniffling slowly.

Esme's thick eyebrows furrowed into a frown as she was unwillingly dragged next to the pup, making her snap at the scientist's arm as the human bent down to pet her. Swiping her pale tongue over her short whiskers, the female flicked her chipped ears and curled up on her pillow that has been dragged next to the pup's. At Anna's response, she merely scoffed, crossing her paws in her usual manner. "Go get yerself a blanket, 'den. Errybody expects you to be tuff' if yer' gonna' be a guard dog." She shrugged, squinting her eyes at the young hybrid. "You'll be injected with 'dem fluids, anyways." The black 'n white dog murmured, tucking her fluffy paws under her white chest and flattening her ears. "Ay'll go get ye' a blanket, you lil' squirrel." Raising her head with a slate blue glance at Anna, Esme started to gently trot into the room Kelso was located, quietly slipping through the door and snatching one of the blankets from the couch. Her ears flung forward at a familiar growl rumbling from the cage, seeing the tawny brute take hold of the man's arm. "Heh, ay'd help ya' with 'dat, but ay' have a lil' rat to worry 'bout." Slinking in closer, the fae grabbed the side of the man's coat and tugged him back from Kelso's grip, followed by a loud bark as the man stuttered away from the cage, avoiding Esme's snapping fangs as he readied his notes to return the male to his cage. With a wink, she backed up to return to her "duty", fake-lunging at the frightened scientist on the way out before she dissapeared into the hallways and back to the small hybrid.

"I don't understand why they pick out a certain few to get special treatment..." The yearling whimpered with a scowl, slowly lowering himself back down to his belly.

The wolf-dog stared over at Jika while she spoke, a look of disinterest soon appearing on his face. "Yeah? I'd like to see you do any better at that angle." Kelso huffed with a half smirk, crossing his forepaws neatly before him and perking his tattered ears at the female in the cage beside his.

Hearing Jehans question Kanti tilted her head and let out a sigh, turning to watch a human who passed their cages-her brow narrowing as she turned back towards the brute. "Well, put up a fight. If they try taking me for testing I'm not going easy, I hate to think what they do in there..." She muttered raising a brow and nodding her head, soon lowering to her stomach and placing her head on the pillow. Seeing Esme and a pup together "Talk about favorites!" She growled to herself.

||Viva|| Viva snarled loudly at Anna, and rammed her head so hard that it broke the door, her fangs bared as she ran at the pup.

||Anna|| Anna growled loudly and grabbed Viva's muzzled tearing off skin. Viva yelped loudly and scampered down the hall.

Jika curled her lip into a snarl but then just smirked. "Ya know, I probably could." She snapped. Just then a scientist walked over to her cage. She stood up best she could and looked over at Kelso. "I'll show you." She barked and as the man opened the cage she was in she lunged at him. She snapped her jaws around his neck and bit down but not hard enough to kill him, then released. The scientist bolted out of the room, locking the door behind him. "Can you do better?" She snickered.

Kelso wrinkled his muzzle with a huff at her display of aggression towards the man. "Pff. I don't need 'ta. I ain't about pickin' unnecessary fights like that. It's a waste." He snorted, casually scratching at his neck with his hind paw. "But by all means, keep that sorta attitude up 'n see wot it gets 'ya- a pine box, 'n l'il else." The brute muttered, returning himself back down to his laying position, eyes glazed over with mind numbing boredom.

Ears against his skull, Jehan sat up a bit to glance over at the privileged pup who sat beside Esme. "It's not fair." He complained with a whimper, turning his eyes over to Kanti. "What makes her more special than the rest of us?" The yearling sighed. It was a simple fact that some were in fact more privileged than others, a fact that he'd just have to live with now. A shudder quivered through his muscles and he let out a whining sigh before laying down once more, head on his half of the shared pillow.

Circling around, the fae neatly plopped down next to the little 'rat' with narrowed eyes. "Quit 'dat, ye' 'lil punk- you'll see wat's coming to 'ya if 'ya keep it up." Slamming a paw in front of Anna, the bi-colored hybrid's tail angrily waved through the air as she backed up to enter the lab. "Aye, he's not releasin' ya' yet, hm?" With a quick snicker, Esme peered through the door where the scientist was writing something down. "Ya' poor 'lil things." A smirk creeping up onto her dry lips, Esme crept over towards their locks and with one swing of her paw knocked them off. "Lousy 'lil locks ye' have 'dere, mister." Directing her cloudy gaze over to the man in white, she nipped at the doors of Kelso's and Jika's cage as they flung open. "Come awn now, off 'ya go!" Yipping, Esme slunk back through the door after freeing them. Otherwise they'd be yappin' all night long.

||Anna|| Anna looked at Viva and pointed to her with her muzzle trying to tell Esme she was there. No sooner did that happen Viva charged at Anna, Viva growled loudly and snapped her jaws around Anna's right paw cracking it, Anna yelped and clawed Viva's maw hanging from it her eyes with fury.

Kanti glanced at Jehan and nodded in agreement-it was unfair how other dogs were treat better than others. Sighing she stopped her tail from tapping against the cold floor of her cage and curled it around her side. "Its so unfair!" She growled narrowing her brows but quickly releasing them "She's only the favourite because she's younger.." The yearling huffed as she shuffled a little to get comfortable, it all seemed quiet until things in the lab began to pick up.

The large brute let out a huff as he glanced around-it got awfully boring being cooped up in cages. The sound of footsteps caused his head to turn seeing a sceintist walking up the hall-smirking Atek leapt to his paws and began lunging at the human as he passed. Saliva dripped from to canines mouth as he narrowed his eyes-the force was heard from his slamming against the metal. Jumping in fright the scientis dropped his clipboard and made a quiet shriek-smirked Akecheta continued to growl, but stopped and began to chuckle as the human grabbed her board and hurried away. "Hahahaa, dumb humans!" he muttered quite amused by the situation. Grabbing the bone that remained his his cage Atek began crunching down on the hard object.

Jika shrugged. "Whatever." She snickered. "I'm going to be as aggressive as I can and hopefully they'll finally lay me to rest." She said half to herself. She looked up at Kelso. "For what reason are you not /wanting/ to escape?" She asked. Her anger vanished as she asked him. She usually had mood swings like that but it seemed weird when she was just yelling at this canine.

Jika bared at the canine who had walked in expecting for it to attack her but instead she released Kelso and then elft. "Hmph, seems like somebody at least knows ya well enough to release you." She snickered. Out of nowhere her bad mood appeared again and she growled at him. "Gonna get out of there or what?" She snarled.
