Title: What are all the spiders here to do?

There are spiders in the userlist, so I spied on those spiders with the "Who's Online" tab and found they're viewing many various boards and topics. They have the names "Google" and "Baidu". What exactly are the spiders, and what are the spiders here to do?

I'm not sure if this is supposed to be shown or not. It started showing up like few days ago, and I noticed a lot more ads on mobile browsers (Safari and Chrome).
I was just wondering if this is normal or not lol

Aye, like Edo quoted, they are essentially bots from different web browsers. (Google, and Baidu (basically google’s chinese counterpart I believe)). I believe the number listed is how many bots from those web browsers are on the forum, and it’s a way for Raz to track the good bots and bad bots. Likely for security purposes to make sure everyone is safe.
