Game Help / Six Terrain Maps
« on: February 25, 2012, 03:50:01 pm »
Alright, so I've already searched the forums and followed the tutorials placed, like Sameth's and Ruby's post on someone's thread, but I still can't figure out how to do it. I've made two masks, both derived from the same original one. And it still creates a glow when loading the terrains. I'm using GIMP, and I have tried both leaving the non-terrain areas black and transparent. Any pointers or more in depth directions would be greatly appreciated.

I also apologize in advance for this being the second help thread I've posted in the past thirty minutes and not placing them in one.

Game Help / Noobish Question
« on: February 25, 2012, 03:12:06 pm »
Ever since I had to completely reinstall Feral Heart, I haven't been able to go into public maps. I'll be able to sit around for a few moments before my screen goes white, and it says that it has stopped working. Is there a quick fix to this or is it possible it's just my connection? I've tried reinstalling the setup and patch, but, it still likes to close down. I've checked the particles and there's no doubles, so it's not that.

Game Discussion / Multiple Roleplays
« on: February 20, 2012, 03:56:13 pm »
As a user with their own roleplay group in game, I try to refrain from joining long-term groups in my down-time, because as I have little time to put into my own, I feel it is wrong for me to try and join more than one, and take up space in someone else's roleplay. My pride is my priority in game, and so when none of my members are on, and I'm stuck sitting in the map alone because I despise sitting in Fluorite, I'm wanting to join something else to pass the time.

I try to join short-term roleplays, or one's that will have so many members, they will not miss me if I'm gone.

However, because I'm a jerk of a person, I get angry that my members can freely roleplay-hop at their will. Whenever there is roleplay about to occur in the group's map, I pull up my friend's list and whisper every member in the group to let them know that there is roleplay going on and they are welcome to join if they so desire. But I can not count how many times these whispers go brushed off or ignored by the same user multiple times.

Do you as a player think it's okay to join multiple roleplays and never devote to one sole group? Or is it okay to have multiple groups to bounce around in as a fall back. In my experience, it's because the members tend to hop around that groups end up falling apart. And of course, that could be the group leader's fault for not providing a good enough experience for the group, but still.

I myself have been guilty of jumping, though I've tried to do it less since I've started the pride again, keeping it within one fall-back roleplay at a time, and keeping it unless the group becomes inactive itself.

Opinions and say-so's. Shoot.

Site/Forum Help / Forum Log-In Problems
« on: February 16, 2012, 03:14:39 pm »
I have two accounts, one of which I use for my actual roleplaying, and that I've had since I joined. The other is when I like to hide from the people on my friend's list. (As harsh as that seems.)

Recently, I was PM'ing a lot on one of these accounts, and so I wanted to change which mail it was being sent to. So I went and edited my profile to do so, and it said I needed to wait for verification. So I was all "Oh, alright. Shouldn't take too long." So instead I went to sign on to the other account and, well, it wouldn't let me. It kept saying my password was wrong, when I KNOW it wasn't. I tried multiple times, my password is always the same. So I went ahead and did the "Forgot password" option. However, the token sent to me, wouldn't work. So I'm at a loss at what I need to do about it to access these accounts.

Of course, the game hasn't been affected, but it's the forum accounts that are not accessible to me.
Any help offered is appreciated.
