This topic has been debated to death: Should there be new playable animals in the next FH update? There are many who are gung ho for the idea, many who are vehemently against the idea, and some who simply don't care either way.
I was thinking that instead of adding new animals to FH itself, which would probably start a lot controversy and cause way more problems than it would solve, what if someone made a FH game mod, like FH+ or like what this guy's planning: http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=19010.0 (http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=19010.0) , in which one had the option to play as something other than a feline or a canine? (A nice added bonus would be if this mod used the same server as FH, so all your canine/feline characters would be on the mod also.)
That way, those folks who want to play as bears or horses could do so to their heart's content, and those who'd prefer to keep FH a 'wolves/lions only' game would just keep on playing the regular FH like they always have.
Thoughts? Concerns? Ideas? I'd love to hear what you guys think!

Damn, that would be awesome.
If someone were to do that, I'd gladly volunteer to make the horse model even or something.

I don't think it would be a good idea at all.
1. It would be pretty much empty after a few weeks/months, just like FH+.
2. It would make the jobs of staff members much harder, we already have to clean up after FH+.
I don't even think the mod would ever get a good start. Because, it would probably not be put up for download on the official site. Besides.. in order to have a different animal model you'd need to edit the game codes. And that is forbidden, as it says in the game rules.
There's no point in suggesting something that is against the game rules, y'know. xD

Ya i downloaded FH+ and it got old so i just stopped playing it just like meh sis irl she didnt care for it at all. So i think the idea anyway just keep FH animals the same cause like all the hard work FH+ was people dont really play it much anymore so dont waste your time making somthing that will be ignored in like a month or so.

As much as I like the idea it probably isn't the best idea simply because its alot of work to manage FeralHeart alone... not to mention alot of people complain already about not being able to see other people's mods in game. This would just seperate the community like FH+ does since the people who would want to play as other animals will not be seen on the regular FH like those who have add ons on them that other people do not have. I like FeralHeart the way it is as just strictly canine and feline characters since it was what the game was originally just intended for but I do like the other animals to. I just hope that maybe in the future since soo many people ask for other animal models to be added in game like they did with the wings that Kovu would eventually consider adding in the most popular suggestions... if not I love FeralHeart as is and well we can always just wait for Arokai for those days we want to run around like deer or bears etc.

I would love to run around as another animal, bit I understand that Feral Heart was just meant to be for felines and canines. A game mod would still be Feral Heart, and also, it would be a lot more work for the mods.
