Title: Anima [Inactive since 29/10/2012]
Post by: RavenShai on March 25, 2011, 04:13:20 am: Just so everyone is clear, this is "anima", not "anime", though this is an anime series. x3

What's anima you may ask? For those who don't know, anima are people who can turn parts of their bodies into that of animals. As I've mentioned before, there's a comic series of anima, but this doesn't involve that except for the being able to form into animals part, so I won't explain it.

Anyway, don't get the wrong idea, you cannot actually turn into an animal, only parts of your body can. Perhaps your hand turns into an arm and claw of a bear, or the buttom half of your body turns into that of a fish tail (like a mermaid or merman), or you have wings of a bird or bat growing out of your back (these are what the four main characters can do in the series).

How people become anima:

No one is born into being an anima. How someone is able to turn a part of their body into an animal is when their life is threatened or they feel threatened, or some kind of tragic happens in their life. Also, what they turn into depends on what animal was near the person.
To explain this more clearly, I'll give an example. If a boy was drowning and desperately wants to live, a fish nearby would sense that desperation, and its spirit merges with that of the boy. The boys legs then turn into a fish tail, and is able to breathe, and so lives.

Not all people stay as an anima forever, though some may be one for life. The spirit of your animal will leave once you no longer need it. Only you will know if you no longer need it.

Setting: Mostly late medival. No cars or huge cities, there are kindgoms and small towns and villages.

Story: I haven't really come up with a story. Really, those with animas real purpose is finding a place in the world. Most people chase away anima because they become frightened and scared. Thats why most anima travel, some chosing to travel for the rest of their lives. That's all we will be doing for now, and our characters will come across each others paths. I'm hoping a story will form on its own :p

1. Posts must be at least more than three sentences, no less. This is a literate rp. You don't have to be the best, but please be as descriptive as you can and no quick typed posts. This sometimes confuses the other rpers and we may have no clue what you just did or where you are.

2. The usual, follow forum rules, be polite, ect. Remember that this is an rp and everything said in here isn't real. No conflict between rp buddies! :D

3. Your anima character CANNOT turn into an animal! Please keep this in mind. Only a part of their body can. It also doesn't have to be one body part, it could be like a claws of a cat with cat ears and whiskers and a nose, that type of stuff.

4. This is a fantasy type of rp, but there are no dragons, unicorns, ect. Just normal animals, so sorry but no dragon wings or a horn of a unicorn x3.

5. Keep it Pg-13 please

6. Romance is allowed, but again, keep it Pg-13. Remember, younger kids may be reading! Also, don't be abnoxios. No one likes someone begging for a Girlfriend or Boyfriend.

7. Please be active! I can't exagerate this enough! You don't have to be on all day, and I understand if your busy with real life issues like homework and such, but don't join if you think you won't be staying for long to rp with us. Don't make a reply and then respond three days or a week later. If your going away somewhere or will be absent sometime, please let us know and you'll be excused, or if you were already away and were unable to get on the computer (like if you were grounded) please tell us when you get back and you'll be allowed to jump back in.

8. No godmoding, Mary Sueing, that kind of stuff.

9. Fights between other characters are allowed, though make sure you give the person the chance to respond. No saying the other persons actions and reactions.

10. No COPYCATTING! There's nothing I hate more in the world than copycats. This includes both making your character simular to the characters in the comic series of Anima or the rpers. Even making your character simular to another person's character outside of the rp is unacceptable. You may use a character you have used in a different rp, but they must BELONG TO YOU. Your character has to be unique and creative, not a copycat.

11. In the comics, two of the main characters had the ability to 'sense' other Anima. Though this is probably considered neat and cool, I rather not have rpers characters be able to do this. Its to predictable and will make the rp more interesting, for then the characters may express their feelings toward each other before knowing that the other person(s) is/are anima. Wither they trust them or not, who they think they are, ect. Also this gives rpers a chance to show how they reveal themselves as their true anima selves.

(I shall add more rules later and as needed, so please check every now and then. I may update you with my replies to the rp so you won't have to keep going back and forth.)

They can be on your character's leg, back, side, shoulder, ect. Its almost like having a tatoo haha. The mark just has to resemble the animal of your character, and be near the spot where they transform. So like if your arm transform into a body of your animal, then it would be somewhere near there. If more than one part of your body transforms, then the mark is usually on the back.

Their anima: King Cobra: Hypodermic fangs + tongue, reptilian eyes and legs twist into that of a snake's body... a la naga-form + hair mats into a "hood" that all cobras have.
How he got his anima: Thanks Raven. The desert heat had him half-dead. The sun broiled in the day and the moon froze at night, there was no water or food that he could find and he was getting feverish. Half-dead, his anima emerged and he was able to survive in the harsh environment.
Physical description:

Darkest is his hair and marking colors, medium is his skin tone/base scales. His eyes are hazely-yellow.
Personality: He's an ambusher, not a charger. He values his privacy, his personal space, and quiet. However, he'll hold onto his temper for a long time before getting annoyed. He has a habit of nonverbal communication seeing as he's most never around other people. He warms up easily though, and slips into his trickster's self. He enjoys playing games with other people, testing reactions and otherwise pulling strings. He loves being the puppet master. He probably enjoys this because he doesn't understand himself very well.
Other: Anima marking is a slightly jagged swirl going down his spine and stopping at his tail bone.

ANIMA!!!! I love the manga! I haven't read it in a while (I have to read off the internet due to living where I actually can't buy the series) But I just have to join this... Have to think of a character.... I'll post character information here when I have thought of something really good.

Their anima: The Fallow Deer. This is as seen above. Lower half of her body changes, making her seem a bit like a deer centaur (I think I remember seeing a character in +Anima like this)
How they got their anima: Secret until I figure it out like Kamaete.
Physical description: Hinda has short fuzzy black hair, and cold grey eyes. She is small for her age, her skin a natural light tanned brown color.
Personality: I'm not so great with the personality part, it might be for the best if Ileave this blank, but I am willing to fill it in if you feel it neccessary.

How they got their anima (You can keep it a secret if you like but we have to find out some time): For now a secret as well until I can come up with something xD

Physical description: Wears a night blue tunic, her hair long and black which seems to glow into a dark purple when directed under any source of light, and reaches to her shoulder blades. Her bangs are nearly always draped over her eyes when she isn't wearing her hood. Her eyes are a deep shade of purple that at times gives off a mysterious glow, and she wears half black gloves, with black wrist bands. A black cloak drapes her shoulders, and most of the time she has the hood over her head to hide her features.

Personality: Hard to say. Most of the time she just appears less interested in others. Practically nearly always silent, saying very little, and always stating on what's on her mind. She gives off the impression of always being rude when in truth she is only stating the truth. She never shows how she truly feels to others, keeping her emotions silent and secret, locking them inside herself. Though she may appear like she doesn't care, she actually does and will help those who need it, though she herself may refuse their help in return. She refuses to let herself grow attach to anyone, for she fears, secretly, that if she does she'll only lose them. She is also nearly always vigilent, rarely lets her guard down. She's attentive to her surroundings, listening and looking out for anything out of place. Because of these features, it is hard to sneak up on her, though it would be a very bad idea if you tried. If you were in company of her or do become a 'friend' to her and try to spook her, once she hears you sneaking up she will turn and strike out, more out of instinct and self defense.

Other(add in your anima's mark as well): A feather with swirls that make the form on either of her shoulders.

He could of been stranded in the desert and was close to dying because of thirst and starvation, and so he formed into a snake to survive in the heat and catch food. It was a dark night. The moon shone bright in the sky, even though a red streak to the east showed the sun about to come up. The moon will vanish withen half an hour or so, the stars were already disappearing.
Raven looked away from the sky, and to the trees that surrounding her. Her black hood covered her head, only revealing the mysterious gleam of her eyes withen, completely covering the rest of her body so she blended in with the dark.
She had been traveling through the woods for awhile now, not sure how long she had been in here. She didn't keep count. Saying nothing, she treaded along the brush silently, her light steps not stirring a sound.

The sun was just an orange smear across the sky, and Ryker would prefer to wake up when it was at least over the horizon, but he woke up when he woke, and that would be now. He silently shuffled out of his make shift bed--just a blanket thrown over him--and packed up his tiny camp site. Everything fit into a small pack he settled on his shoulders.

He yawned, looked back to make sure his presence was erased completely, and started walking in the direction he hoped he'd been moving in the day before. Hopefully the day would be quiet: he'd walk to about noon, find a place to rest and eat and relax under the sun, then pick it up as the sun lowered and find a place to sleep by the time night fell. It was a routine he was comfortable with, even if it wasn't exciting. It suited him.

The sky was beginning to brighten as the sun was just beginning to come up. Orange, pinks, and blues were in the sky, growing brighter with every minute that was passing. Rising her hands up, Raven drew her hood even further down here head, keeping to the shadows. She was going to walk further when the sound of footsteps stopped her (Ryker).
She turned quickly to the noise, freezing in her tracks. There they were again. Purple eyes narrowing, two, black wings drew silently out from behind her, and giving a few quick flaps she came up to a tree and perched silently on a branch. Drawing her wings back in, she sat there, watching the ground and to the approaching steps. The sound of her wings were sure to catch whoever it was walking through here's attention, but hopefully he or she would only suspect it was just an ordinary bird. Just in case she went deeper into the shadows, keeping herself concealed in her black cloak.

The sun painted light hues across the sky as it rose above the horizon. Ryker concluded that he was going in the right direction and shifted his pack minutely. He hadn't expected anyone to be walking near by, nor this early, so he took no caution to hide his sounds. The sun was beginning to warm him, chasing away the lingering cool from the night, and it was lulling. His eyes were half-closed when he heard the flapping raucous near by.

He stopped and strained to hear it again, finding something odd about it. The noise was too loud for a normal bird, and if he was wrong... well, no harm would come of it. He turned himself towards the direction he thought the flapping came from and headed that way instead. A little detour never hurt anybody.

The steps were growing louder, until at last Raven saw the form of a boy come into view. He was walking rather carelessly, and by the look on his face and how unkept his hair was, he had recently gotten up. A pack over his shoulder showed he was a traveler. The dirt on his clothing indicated he may have been traveling for awhile.
Raven planned on keeping herself concealed, and wait for this boy to be on his way, when her foot hit against a twig on the branch. The impact made the twig snap loudly, and Raven held her breath, hoping the noise didn't attract the boys attention. She knew, however, that there was no hiding her presence now.

Hinda was about to fall asleep, the chorus of birds singing nearby like a lullaby as her eyelids started to close. But her rest was brought to an ubrupt end when she heard a twig snap nearby. She jumped to her feet, grabbing the old cloth bag that she always carried with her.
She looked around the tree trunk, in search of the source of the noise, spotting someone in the distance, walking towards her. If she moved from her spot from behind the tree trunk, they would spot her.

A loud snap caught his attention, drawing his focus up into a tree. He could make out a dark shadow, but not much more. He was instantly on the defensive, and he shifted his body so he'd be able to dodge, block or retreat depending on what happened.

"Come out," he demanded of whatever was in the tree. It'd be silly if it was just an animal, but he didn't like taking any chances he didn't have to.

She was so focused on this young man she did not noticed that there was someone else nearby. Raven wasn't to high up, so she jumped back down, not revealing her wings. Her cloak fell in behind her, and as her feet reached the ground it drew quickly back around her form, like a shadow.
Standing straight, the cloak covered all of her features, only two purple eyes gleaming from the depths of the hood. She stood where she was, looking the boy over, considering.
"Well," she said, her voice void of emotion, calm, "I came out."

It looked more like a gentle glide--out of the tree, her cape quickly forming around her like it was a sentient being shielding her form from prying eyes. Her eyes seemed to be glowing purple under the early morning light, and Ryker could only imagine that her expression looked haughty and bored. It would, at least, match her voice, he thought, his lip curling when she spoke.
"Hn. Why were you hiding in that tree? Afraid of me?" he taunted. He was still poised to defend or run, and right now he was testing the waters. Seeing how far he could push. He was confident in the reaction he would get, but he still wanted to make sure he was right. He was so intent on this girl, he also didn't notice the third presence near-by.

The guy was taunting her, but the two of them hadn't realised she was there yet. Which meant she had the possibility of making a run for it. But she had to make sure they were intent on each other so she wouldn't be spotted as she fled.

"I do not fear you," Raven replied smoothly. She studied him and his stance, listening to the tone in his voice. He was testing her, prepared to either fight or run depending on her action.
"You may relax, I don't plan on fighting you, unless provoked," she continued. "I do not like to fight unless I have to, and as long as you don't wish to harm me, than we won't have any problems here. Why I was hiding in the tree matters little now." She seemed about to say more when her gaze suddenly turned away from the boy, looking slightly behind her. Raven finally noticed another presence in the area.
"Show yourself, please," she called out to the direction she believed the person to be at.

In the moments it took him to accept her words as truth, she turned and accused another tree of having someone behind it. He stilled and listened and could hear faint breathing, supporting the girl's accusation. He frowned. What was up with everyone hiding in trees today? Was he surrounded by birds? he shook his head at the thought.
"Yes, do come out." he crossed his arms and continued, "It's getting boring just the two of us."

She sat behind the tree for a moment, her back pressed against the wood as she calmed herself. After a few quick deep breathes, she stepped slowly and nervously from behind the tree. She kept her eyes to the ground, nervous, and just a touch scared.

Their anima: Hikoi's Anima is The Otter. She can grow whiskers on her face and Claws on both hands. She also has a Otter Tail, Which acts a rudder, making the Otter move much faster in water.

Anima Mark: (Upload Later) There is a Curved Line at the Top, Representing A Whisker. There is a Cresent Shape below the Whisker, Representing the Tail. And A Slightly Curved Straight-line Presenting the Claw.

Raven rather gave a displeased look at seeing someone else here, though her hood covered the expression.
How many people are traveling through the woods these days? She thought irritably.
Sighing inwardly, she closed her eyes, the depths of the hood completely a dark void. At least these two weren't causing any kind of trouble. She stayed silent a moment more, thinking what she should do next.
Well, might as well remove this hood.
Raising her hands slowly, her black cloak drew back behind her, showing her full form as her hands came near her hood. Her fingers brushed back the hood, and her hair flowed out from beneath it, gleaming purple in the morning light. Her skin shown a bit pale, and bringing her hands back to her sides, she re-opened her eyes, looking between the boy and girl.
"What are you both doing in the woods? Heading somewhere?" She asked rather casually, her facial features still appearing expresionless. No thought past through her face, she didn't allow anything to show what she may be thinking or feeling. Her face seemed emotionless, like a porcelain mask hooked onto her head by invisible strings allowing the only emotion to come through her eyes. He smirked at her--some form of aggressive expression that was meant to tease and be friendly at the same time--before he answered her question.
"This forest happened to cross my path. You?" He asked both girls, gentling his smile.

A Young Girl hid in the shadows, watching the three people converse. She gave a small, evil smirk, breaking the usually expressionless line on her Mocha Complexion Face. Her Eyes Glowed Slightly, as The Navy Blue Eyes changed into a Dangerous Purple. Her Dark Blue Tunic and Hood covered most of her body and her head. A Black Bandana covered her mouth.

Her Eyes only showed, looking like taunting eyes from Hell. She was quiet and silent, wondering if they knew she was around. She had not made a move, wondering if they would that sensitive.

Rather ignoring the look upon the boys face, Raven replied to the question, "I've been traversing here for awhile now. I could tell you for how long but I have lost count." She didn't say anymore, not wishing to reveal to much about herself. Though both of these strangers showed no signs of aggression, espiecally the more timid looking girl, she couldn't risk it. She'll have to play it safe, take on step at a time, like she always did. This was the longest she had been around company for awhile.
She was planning on excusing herself and head off on her own again when a chill went down her spine, telling her someone was watching. Her gaze cast upward to the source, eyes narrowing as she concentrated at the area. She stayed like the for a moment, her head tilting slightly to the right, until at last she spoke.
"Whose there?"

((I felt it was neccessary to mention this since its what it was starting to sound like in the rp, but Raven can't literally 'sense' someone xD, its like a feeling really, like I've stated here its the feeling of being watched, or feeling like someone was close, like how some of us sometimes feel when someone is near. She usually senses it faster than others because she is always aware of her surroundings, always vigilent and attentive. She'll listen for sounds or keep her eyes peeled out for things out of the ordinary. I think I'll add this to her personality haha.
Oh, and I remembered another rule to add in. No copycatting! xD Not that I'm accusing DA for copy cat, thats just what made me think of the rule. You never know who would try to come and copy you >. > Though I must ask, DA, how does your char fully look?))

Ryker frowned at the raven-haired girl's flat response but picked up his smile again for the other girl. He'd start small and work his way up. His was about to introduce himself when the raven-haired girl interrupted him, again calling out someone near them. He glared at her and followed her gaze, looking to see a darker shadow then those around it. He deigned himself not to talk anymore, realizing he wasn't going to get anywhere at the moment.
Instead, he waited and watched, tensing as his own sense of foreboding decided to rear its head. His spine itched, and he tensed himself to sprint or change: whatever was faster if there proved to be danger.

So far she didn't like this girl, or trusted her. However, she kept that secret behind her neautral expression. In truth she didn't like or trusted many people anyway, but some were better than others.

Now that she had removed her own hood and bandana, she didn't look as threatening and mysterious, but Raven didn't allow looks to fool her. Never judge a book by its cover.
"What are you thinking?" She said to the girl barely above a whisper, so the other two couldn't hear. After all, she still didn't know if they were normal humans or Anima like herself. "You can't just go around talking about yourself so carelessly."
She shifted her gaze to the other two, seeing what they're reaction may be.

Their anima: African Saltwater Crocodile. Scharf's teeth grow and point out, along with his nails. His fingers and toes also develop webbing between them. He's annoyingly gossipy, could never hold a secret for anyone. Known for loving chocolate, can easily be controlled with nothing more then a cookie.

Yeah, well I also thought it would be best for everyone not to be able to sense another Anima unless perhaps it was someone random in the story. It makes things a little more... interesting, perhaps? And not so predictable. That way each rper can type how they reveal themselves as their true anima selves.

P.s. I have recently added this new rule to possible make more sense of this:

11. In the comics, two of the main characters had the ability to 'sense' other Anima. Though this is probably considered neat and cool, I rather not have rper's characters be able to do this. Its to predictable and will make the rp more interesting, for then the characters may express their feelings toward each other before knowing that the other person(s) is/are anima. Wither they trust them or not, who they think they are, ect. Also this gives rpers a chance to show how they reveal themselves as their true anima selves ))

Living in the forest alone was not so hard.

"Shut up, Mr. Buns. NEVER ASKED FOR YOUR THOUGHTS!" Scharf's left top lip lifted up in a funky looking sneer. He moved his nonexistent monocle looking at 'Mr. Buns' who was nothing more then a pine cone. He signed shaking his head, disappointed with his pine cone chat.
He spun around on the balls of his feet several times before marching towards the growing group of anima, not aware of them at the moment. He was more intent on finding something to entertain himself since Mr. Buns was well...not entertaining.
Scharf's wondering lead him to the group of course, though he stayed at a distance for now. He got down on his hands and knee's dragging himself along the forest floor trying to be stealthy. He stopped in front of a stump, peering over it watching the others. He was loud and obvious.
His thick black hair moved from his eyes revealing lazily half closed golden eyes. His thick muscled tail equipped with scales and armored plates moved from side to side lifted off the forest floor. His claws dug into the pine cone he still had with him, and his teeth sharpened and poking out of his mouth in a joyful grin. "Oh what fun Mr. Buns, other people!" He did indeed seem happy, mostly because he had not had contact with anyone other then pine cones and the occasional expired animal who he merely imagined to have a real conversation with.
Scharf wondered how he would introduce himself.

His thought he heard noise in the forest again, but he dismissed it, the probability of another person coming out of these apparently popular woods was rather low. He caught the shy girl edging away from them, nervous and desperate not to draw attention towards herself. Ryker looked her over before sending her a reassuring smile he hoped would put an end to her fidgeting. It was annoying him, mildly.
As the raven-haired girl seemed capable of handling whatever threat the new comer possessed, he felt justified in leaving whatever confrontation would happened up to her. He'd rather not make an enemy, just yet.

A stump was some feet away from the group, and behind it she believed she saw a head of a man. His eyes were slightly covered in thick hair, that seemed to reach further down behind him should he stand up. From this distance, Raven believed she could see scars lining his face, though how many there were it was hard to tell. She also saw he was holding something, maybe a pinecone?
Raven stared at the man, unsure if she should confront him or not. The look on his face didn't exactly look sane, and she wasn't sure what to think of him. Perhaps she should wait it out, see what he does. In case should his action be dangerous, she prepared herself for any action he may do.

He climbed up the stump, standing straight up on its surface taking a deep breath of forest fresh air in. "Hm...Ah hello dear humans." Scharf waved his free hand with the same grin glued to his face. He leaped off the stump trotting closer to Raven now. He lost the grin which was replaced instantly with curiosity as he widened one eye and narrowed the other staring at her. Blinking, he held out his pine cone. "Introductions are important. This is Mr. Buns," He dug his nails further into the pine cone "and I'm Scharf." He nodded his head pleased with himself apparently.
His pale skin was covered in not only scars but dirt and dried mud, small remainders of plants tangled in his thick black hair that dragged just barley along the ground. His baggy white clothing was in no greater condition stained with god knows what, and tears where in the fabric like swiss cheese. Around his neck was rotting moss covered rope, paired with a slaved Anima ID tag.
The hair in his faced moved away with a head tilt revealing most of the whole pattern of scars. Most of them actually looked intentional like the 'claw' scars on his mouth. The most noticeable was the large scar going through the bridge of his nose.
Scharf also didn't seem to care if they saw his anima, and thought of course that they were all normal humans.
"So...who, are you? And you? Oh and you?"

Another person walked out of the forest, beckoned by the raven-haired girl's stare. He was thinking that girl was a magnet that just drew people towards her, as they hadn't yet moved from their original spot and there was already four strangers crowded there, including himself.
The new-new-comer--obviously anima, with tangled dark hair covering his eyes and hanging down his back, torn clothes and a pattern of scars and dirt across his face--stood upon the stump he had hid behind and looked curiously at them. He introduced himself, calling Ryker (and the others) human, the pine cone in his hands Mr. Buns and himself Scharf. Ryker found himself smiling in amusement at Scharf, before answering his question, immensely relieved that someone had gotten the introductions rolling.
"I'm Ryker, friend, though I don't yet know these girls' names." He paused and looked over Scharf before continuing, "Your candid-ness is appreciated, but I believe you should be careful around strangers, Scharf. And Mr. Buns," he tacked on as an after thought.

Hinda gave a hestitant smile in return as Ryker sent a reassuring smile her way. It helped make her feel a little less uncomfortable in the social circumstances. Things would probably be different if they found out she was a anima, but they seemed somewhat okay with the other one, that had just straight out mentioned they were an anima on a first meeting, something she would never EVER do. She knew how untrustful the humans were.
Hinda's head turned suddenly as they spoke to someone else. She turned to see the obviously anima male. Just how many people were gathering in this forest? It was getting creepy that they had all found each other like this. Hinda was quiet for a moment after the two males made their introductions, speaking up.
"My name is Hinda."

Looking to Ryker and Hinda, they didn't react the way ordinary humans may have reacted around anima. This could mean that all of them were anima.
"My name is Raven," Raven said, "Apparently, all of us here are anima. What a coincidence."

Such a cute critter didn't usually feel so... malignant, yet her cute face and the whiskers and tail she showed were enough to make him believe. Hinda quietly kept her anima to herself. She was such a timid creature, Ryker could imagine her anima being a mouse, or perhaps some frightful bunny. Though, it was very possible she were a frightful anima such as a bear.
"I have no reason to hide mine, I suppose." He hesitated still, revealing his anima was not something he was used to doing, especially not in front of so many witnesses. "Though, 'tis a frightening anima, I wouldn't blame you if shied away. I'm a snake, you see. King cobra, to be exact. Though, I promise I won't eat any of you." He acted as if he pondered that statement and smiled with wicked humour. "Though, perhaps just a bite?"

He was already joking around with being a snake and how he may 'bite' them.
In the end, she decided to keep silent, thinking perhaps they'll continue on and just forget about her.

Scharf's eyes went off of Raven's face and slowly drifted to Ryker's face as he talked. "Friend, that is a good idea huh? Honestly Mr. Buns how could you raise me like this? Stranger danger, gosh!" He snorted at the Pine cone.
He turned his head listened intently to each of them name themselves off. He repeated each name in his mind insuring he would remember. 'How embarrassing if I mixed them up, ho ho.' He thought. Holding Mr. Buns up he moved his hand up and down as if he pine cone was nodding.
When the girl apparently named Raven stated "Apparently, all of us here are anima." Scharf's mouth gaped open with a loud drastic gasp. "Oh oh oh your all Purasu Anima!" He jumped up and down clapping like a giddy school girl.
He turned to Hikoi and trotted right up to her. "Whiskers, oh whiskers hee!" He ran his finger tips on her whiskers not taking her personal space into consideration. He placed Mr. Buns in the stop of his tail between the armored plates and spun around singing "Crocodylidae, Crocodylidae!" Over and over.

Another reptile? Ryker thought, not able to help the smile that spread across his face at Scharf's antics. He hadn't seen a reptile anima besides himself in a very long time; birds and mammals seemed much more common. A crocodile as well, though Ryker couldn't see Scharf hurting anyone intentionally.
Oh, he caught Raven's silence, as the sun was climbing into the sky and it was his time now. His blood was warm and whatever lethargy was in his veins had been chased away. His senses were getting better and though they'd be at their height during mid-afternoon or so, they were very good now. He guessed Raven would be wary of sharing her anima, perhaps the same reason Hinda was or a different one, though his teasing earlier might've cause a bit of nervousness in whatever the others. He rolled his eyes. Honestly, socializing was not among his strong suits. Scharf was one he'd could stand as nothing seemed to be bothering him, but people who expected real conversation wasn't something he'd get used to immediately.
"Stranger danger indeed, Mr. Buns!" Ryker pretended to admonish the pine cone on Scharf's tail, spinning around as they were. "Letting poor Scharf stumble into a group of strangers! You should know better." Ryker enjoyed this bit of play, he hadn't had it in awhile.

Ryker only took humor in this, playing along. Raven turned her gaze to the sky. The sun was over the horizon now as she could tell from the colors in the sky. It was now a bright blue, hints of grey leaving. Birds were singing to each other in the trees, the air was warm and fresh. Not surprising, considering it was spring.

Scharf didn't think much as to why Raven and Hinda didn't share their anima, most likely because he was having to much fun screwing around. He laughed chomping his jaws together creating a clanking noise as his teeth connected on one another, a habit Scharf developed and did when he was enjoying something.
"If someone acts too friendly in a hot springs, complain to an Towel holder or the rock!" Scharf said crossing his arms and nodding his head in approval to his version of the classic tell someone if your harassed line. His tail lifted up off the ground so he could better view the pine cone, "Indeed Mr. Buns shame on you!" He picked the pine cone up, then went and placed Mr. Buns on Ryker's head. "Friend here is smart, absorb his smart-ness! Dun dun, don't get bitten Buns, hiss!" He laughed hysterically.
Turning around he did a jog-in-place action and pointed at the lake after Hikoi did. "Yes yes, show us your skills Mustelidae!" He stroked her whiskers once more chuckling. He really liked those things for some reason.

[Hm, that only took four hours. xD Darn writers block. Mustelidae = The otter family]

"I believe you're an otter. But by all means, show us!" He laughed and took on the word Scharf had sung happily. "Show us, mustelidae!" He liked the way it sounded.
Scharf again stroked the whiskers on her face, casting a fond glance at them and smiling. Ryker noticed Hinda and Raven had been keeping quiet so he moved his head slowly, aware of the pine cone on his head, and asked them both, "Do you guys agree?"

Scharf had begun dancing, then began to stroke the whiskers of the otter anima, and now a pinecone was sitting ontop of Ryker's head. All of this rather looked comical to her.
Raven gave a shrug, "By all means, show us if you wish. I see no harm in it."

He mumbled something under his breath and mentally shook whatever thoughts were going through his head away, forever casting them to the depths of whatever abyss lurked in his mind.
"Yes, my anima swims. Though, I suppose that water is a tad bit cold right now." he did catch on to Scharf's subtle, or maybe unintentional attempt to join Raven and Hinda into their conversation. He was curious as to what their anima was. Among the group now was an otter, a snake and a crocodile... He trailed off.
"Scharf, you swim, right?" Of course Ryker knew the answer, but perhaps Scharf was one of those people who didn't care to swim. If he did, Ryker probably wouldn't get in the water. Scharf was definitely an awesome and enjoyable person, but self-preservation came first and self-preservation told him to never get into water with a crocodile, least of all one you didn't know. (Or any animal that is adept at swimming and territorial, he'd learned that lesson before.) Perhaps if he knew Scharf more, Ryker wouldn't mind taking a swim, but he wasn't trusting, as much as he seemed to be.

She said no more about it, though she seemed to begin to relax some, though she was still unsure about the crocodile anima. Her expression soften, though it remained its impassive self, and her body became more relaxed, not so tense. She never thought of such a huge group forming here in the woods. Kind of ironic considering she was trying to avoid people. At least they were anima, which made her feel better somewhat.

Scharf blinked looking at the lake as Rkyer asked him if he swam. Pulling the hair out of his face he took a better view of its waters, "Well, er...I never actually ever tried to swim on my own. There's crazy stuff that could be in that lake there!" He pulled on the rope tied around his neck in a fashion that most men do to tighten their ties. Though that old mossy rope didn't look like it was going to tighten or loosen on its own.
Scharf began snickered with a hand raised to his mouth as Hikoi drag the poor snake anima into the water. Turning to Raven now he said "Oh, come on madame it looks fun." He went around Raven in a slow circle snapping his jaws together once more apparently enjoying the current scene.

She followed his movements with her eyes, and underneath her black cloak that covered her body, her hands clenched nervously. Her expression once more became hard, and when she spoke there was a slight edge to it, with a hint of nervousness, "I'm sorry, but I really rather not."
She hoped there wouldn't be any more discussion about it. She took another glance at the water and turned away. Of course she wouldn't say, but in reality, she was not fond of water. She could sometimes boat or swim across ponds or small lakes when she has to, but she'll never do it for fun. And even when she is in the water, she stayed very close to the edge and rocks, making sure her feet could touch the buttom floor. Large lakes and the ocean, however, she could not handle. This lake didn't appear to big, however.
"You four can if you like," Raven continued in a more gentle way, resuming its natural tone.

But eventually she caved, removing some of her clothing, not much, but enough it wouldn't weigh her down and pull her to the bottom, splashing into the water. When it was deep enough she started to doggy padle slowly in circles, grinning to herself.

He snorted a bit and looked up at Raven, Scharf and Hinda still on the bank. Poor Mr. Buns was laying at the very edge of land and water. Scharf had answered his question, though most of what he heard while being drug into this water was might be crazy things in there or something along those lines. He mock glared at the crocodile, briefly blaming him for his now soaked state.
Hinda slowly edged into the water and seemed to enjoy her quiet circles in the shallow waters. Now only Scharf and Raven were standing on the banks. He smirked at them and moved so he was floating on his back, kicking his feet to direct himself. He made some of his kicks harder, splashing water onto the bank just before them.
"Hey, Hinda, you don't think there's anything really nasty under this water, right?" he smirked at her. He figured an otter anima might know better than anyone else.

Turning his head with an loud sigh he watching Raven make her way to the bank and sit down. He started stroking his imaginary beard, feeling like he was forgetting something now.
Mr. Bun who was at the edge of land and water stayed in place, maybe eating crumpets and sipping tea as well?
"Eh, I can't remember." Scharf shrugged and waddled along the bank in zig-zags. Stopping close to the water's edge he went down on his knee's and leaned forward laying down on his belly. He stretched out watching them all swim.

Krystal flaps her wings quickly, trying to dogde the arrow being shot at her. She raises her chest uppwards, as her body follows into the upward flight. She screams as an arrow flys right past her ear, almost taking out her head. She then leans downwards, and buld up much speed, not flapping at all. She levels and glides over the trees, wind pulling the small branchs on the top of the trees, and she comes too close, and she crashs into a tangle of branchs, close-by to some people. Her wings fade away quickly, just as her tail feathers. She starts saying, "Hey! Can you help me?"

The sound of beating wings reached her ears, and Raven quickly stood back up, knowing the sound was to large for an ordinary birds. She saw a girl with hawk-like wings flying through the air until she ran into a tanlge of branches and twigs.
"Hang on, I'm coming!" Raven shouted up to the girl as her hawk wings disappeared. Two black wings sprouted out of Raven's own back, spreading to their full length on either side of her and her cloak floating behind her to stay out of the wings way. The wings drew themselves upward then gave a hard flap, which immediatly lifted Raven into the air. Before her feet touched ground again, they flapped again, then again and again until Raven was going higher and higher. She flew toward the girl stuck in the branches, going slowly and carefully so she wouldn't become tangled as well. Manuevering through the branches, Raven finally perched onto a good size branch near the girl.
"Alright, hold still," she told her, and began working on untangling her while she drew her wings closer to her body so they wouldn't get in the way.

The sudden interruption of his relaxing swimming time made him topple out of his floating and end up eye level with the water. He decided that it was a needed sacrifice for he now knew what Raven's anima was.
So that's why she didn't get into the water... he shrugged it off and decided he'd better get out of the water before he wrinkled like a prune. Wringing out his wet clothes he noticed that the new girl--Kyrstal, he though he heard her say--walking away.
"Oi, Krystal was it? Why don't you stay with us for a bit to make sure that boy isn't rallying the whole town against you or something."

He gasp, quickly leaping forwards from his lazy laying position into the mild water. Holding his breath he stayed submerged with his eyes shut tightly pretty much missing all the extra introductions and revealing of Raven's anima. Scharf opened one eyes looking around the lake bed, frowning. His eye then shifted to catch the movements of Krystal's legs as she walked into the water. Using his webbed fingers to help change his direction, he swam right up to her. Sucking in a mouthful of water his head came out of the lake quickly and he spit the water at her chuckling.

He smoothed out his wrinkled clothes assuring himself they'd dry in the heat of the day. He figured he'd tell Scharf about Raven's anima sometime or another, since he'd gone hiding under water.
He sat down on a rock nearby and picked up his pack (which he'd hastily flung off after Hikoi grabbed him) and found an apple he started to munch on.

Six of us, she thought silently. She had never met so many anima in one place. Was this a good thing or a bad thing? Most anima, if not all, traveled because they sought a place to stay and belong to.
Perhaps I should stay with them, Raven thought to herself. She had been thinking about leaving, but why should she? They were anima just like her, and she would be more welcomed with them than anywhere else.
But I'll only stay with them because I have to, she thought stubbornly, crossing her arms in front of her. Just because I stay doesn't mean we're friends.

Finally taking notice of Mr. Buns as he floated out into the lake, Scharf dived back under and retrieved his 'best pal'.
Surfacing for the last time he made his way out of the water placing Mr. Buns once again between the plates of his tail. "Oh Birdy girl, this is Mr. Bunz." Scharf introduced his pine cone to Krystal.

Raven's glance strayed to Scharf's and Krystals direction and observed the scene, though keeping silent. She was beginning once more to feel more relax, and her expression became less hard and serious. The thought of all of them being anima also helped her relax, and she no longer stayed so tense.
Suddenly Raven caught a form falling toward them, and it landed in the lake with a big splash. Raven rose her arms instinctivly to protect her face from the flying water, her clothing getting slightly wet. Lowering them down, her gaze went to the lake. "What was that?" she spoke her thoughts out loud, and would probably have gone to the water to investigate if it weren't for her fear of water.

Finally he reached the flailing girl and tried to calm her down, awkwardly treading water when she started sinking.
He took a deep breath and dove reaching for her arms.

After saying her own name, she continued to introduce the others for them, gesturing to each one as she said the names. Scharf shook himself out trying to ignore his wet clothing that started sticking to his skin, really bothered him for some reason. He slowly took in all the recent happenings as well, Things where moving along rather fast for him.
He blinked listening to Raven introduce them all, in her mid speech he looked at the sky wondering if anymore people would rain down from it. As the thought of raining anima came to him, elephants apparently did too. He quickly put his arms above his head to 'protect' himself from anything else that might fall out of the sky.

She lowered her arm and looked at them all. "I have other matters to attend to. I aplologize for the sudden departure. I wish all of you good luck."
With that, Raven spreaded her black wing to their full length, then took off into the air, flapping and rising higher and higher till she vanished among the trees.

How they got their anima: She was being dared to make it up the cliff. It had many ledges to allow her rest. She then leaped to the top last ledge abd it crumbled under her finders sending her falling. Her hands and feet turned into ways and she had a short tail appear as well as lynx ears and did a flif in the air to land on a ledge on her feet. She then began leaping down from ledge to ledge by instinct and when on the ground it was over and she was human again.
Physical description: Brown hair and red eyes. She has lynx/bobcat ears and tail but the tail because it's short is unnoticeable with clothes on. She always wears a black long dress and a ribbon on the spot her arm was clawed where anima marks were left.

First, the anima can't be a mix breed, only one type of animal.

Second, was the kitten your character was about to pet the baby of a bobcat or lynx? If it was just an ordinary house cat, a scratch on the back isn't necessarily life threatening unless it scratched repeatedly and she starts bleeding to death, or it was carrying some desease. The life threatenining experience also has to fit in how your character got their anima. For example, if your character was falling from a height that would surely kill them, then their anima would most likely be one with wings, so they could catch themselves. Another example would be if your character was drowning, they would grow gills to help them breath. Also keep in mind that the animal your anima will be has to be in the surrounding area. So, if your anima was going to be a bobcat, you have to be someplace where they roam and live.
Getting a scratch on the back may be life threatening, but they won't really be saved by recieving their anima. How it could save them is if perhaps the character was being chased by the lynx or bobcat, and by recieving their anima, it helped them escape. Or, they could be chased by something else or have a different danger entirely and still get that anima as long as they're in the same area.

Third and lastly, the anima mark. Its okay really, though you may want to add something like the tips swirling into each other at the top to give it more of an anima mark appearance x3

Now, for the rp. I have ideas for the characters I will be using, but I will have to make their forms later when I can get on a computer (using my Kindle at the moment). Do you guys want me to skip on to the town scene? May be a good idea to keep this rp moving haha.))

Ryker sniffed as the girl say in front of him, feeling blatantly miffed that she'd so obviously point out his still being in his anima form. As gracefully as he could manage he returned to normal and crossed his arms. "Shall we go then, she said it was this way. If you don't want to, you can stay here or go the way you were already going, I guess, but it's safer to stick together." He grabbed his back pack and headed in the direction Raven had pointed, waiting only a moment for Hinda, Ziz to follow him, since they were the only two who had proclaimed a willingness to go to the town. He silently hoped that Scharf would also come and maybe Hikoi as well, but he woudln't begrudge them if they didn't want to.

The town was bustling with people, their voices raised high in the air. The air was salty from the ocean spray at the east of town, docks filled with sailors and sea-faring folk. More west of the town and around the outskirts were the houses and inns, pretty decent buildings, built high should a flood come in. More at the center of town was where the shopping took place, for weapons, clothing, food, and the like.
The sun was high in the sky, indicating it was high noon, the sun already heading downward. The sky was clear blue, though clouds were mounting on the horizon over the sea. A storm was heading this way, though for now it looked mild.

"Lan, you really need to be more careful," Keyo sighed, though he was smiling. "Yeah, yeah," Lan returned, turning his head away. "I know what I was doing."

Both boys were near the docks, at a fishing shop. Lan had been trying out a fishing rod they had just bought, one that was easily detatchable for easy travel, and Lan had somehow managed to get himself tangled in it trying to put it together. He sat on the ground while his older brother was untangling him, moving the wire around Lan's dark blue tunic with matching shorts.
"I told you to wait for me before you start putting it together," Keyo continued, shaking his head as he worked to get rid of a knot in Lan's dusty brown hair so to get a piece of wire out. Keyo had the same colored hair, along with the same ocean blue eyes. He wore a green tunic with brownish leggings, kneeled down so he could get the tangles out better.

"Alright, finished," Keyo at last declared, taking the last string off of Lan.
"Finally!" Lan stood up, dusting himself off. As he did so, Keyo rolled the line back in place, folding the rod so it would be ready to be placed in the pack. As he did so, he thought he heard a voice ahead, and glancing up he saw a girl by the hat store. She seemed to be very interested in a particular hat, and another girl came up beside her, trying a hat on. Looking beyond them, he caught sight of a boy, and he thought perhaps he was with the two ladies.
"Some group," he said absently, placing the rod into their pack. Lan's attention was already distracted by the other items in the shop, and he seemed ready to go back and explore. Keyo stood back up on both legs, slugging the pack over his shoulder. Then his attention went completely away from the group ahead of them.
Turning slightly, he looked off to the side, catching sight of a strange man. He was tall, silent and stern. He had rugged brown hair, wearing light armor. The armor was plain looking, except for a strange and peculiar black mark at the shoulder plates. The mark swirled into itself, forming a circle, and then two arrow shapes were placed at either side of it, making it appear like an eye.
Keyo wasn't sure why, but he got bad vibes from this man. Without turning away, he placed a hand on Lan's shoulder. "Come on, lets get moving."
Lan knew immediately something was wrong. He looked back at Keyo with a serious expression and nodded, doing as he was told. He didn't even question what could be wrong, he trusted his older brother. So, without a second glance, he began walking forward, Keyo following close behind as he kept looking back at the armored man. Doing so, he didn't realize they were heading right towards the group by the hat store.

Scharf had fallowed the group after all to the town Raven had spoken of. He originally had said his goodbyes to them all as they headed for town like Raven had. But he soon got bored and he fallowed their footprints.
Skipping merely along he hummed a soft tune. The groups footprints vanished along the towns ground stopping Scharf's mini search. He pouted looking around at the many faces that past him, now wandering randomly and closely to the hat shop.

Ryker glanced at the hat that Ziz had pointed out. It indeed look like the hat she'd lost. He didn't have money to spend on a frivolous hat, even if it would make the girl happy. He struggled, trying to find a way out of the situation when his eyes caught sight of two boys walking hurriedly in their direction. It seemed wrong, somehow, that they'd look so determined in this bustling town. Just past them, he spotted a stern looking man in light armor.

Now, if two boys walking a bit fast seemed odd, then a stern man in light armor who seemed he might be searching for something looked extremely out of place. Despite Raven's words of relative safety in this town, he knew when something was fishy. And those boys had to know something or they wouldn't be walking so quickly away from that man.

He wrinkled his nose and walked closer to Hinda and Ziz and whispered in their ears, "Follow me, we might have trouble," He would wait for the boys to pass and slip behind them. Most likely they were headed for safety and that meant safety for him and the girls as well. Those boys certainly weren't a match for, he glanced at gentle Hinda and Ziz. Well, they weren't a match for him, anyways.

"We're going to head back to the inn, alright Lan?" Keyo whispered to Lan, who nodded in response. He was growing worried, and while they had been walking he glanced back to see who his brother kept looking at. He had also spotted the man, and he looked back ahead of him, continuing to walk.
"Keyo," Lan whispered back to his brother. "We need to blend in more. If you don't want to get spotted, we have to walk slower and not make it obvious that we're trying to get out of here."
Keyo blinked, hearing Lan's words. "Your right," he answered softly, realizing a few people had already glanced their way.
At last turning away from the man that was behind them, he looked straight ahead, walking at a more casual pace, his brother doing the same. Lan began walking beside Keyo now, and to make things look even more convincing, Lan was looking about him excitedly once more, pointing things out to his brother. Or perhaps it wasn't really an act and he really was excited. Keyo also did his best to act like himself, and at the corner of his eye he noticed the group he had saw earlier, but he quickly glanced away to look at something Lan had pointed to. They walked on and passed the hat shop, the armored man getting further and further behind, though he had glanced their way curiously for a moment.

Ryker casually walked after the two boys making sure he kept tabs on Hinda and Ziz while trying to keep inconspicuous. It was a lot of multi-tasking and he almost doubted himself as the two boys ended up looking like they were casual tourists. He looked back once, and stopped in surprise. Was that Sharf? Oh boy, it was.

There was that familiar matted hair. Did he follow them? Well, he couldn't say he wasn't pleased, he liked Sharf, but... uh. He slowed down and then stopped, turning back to face the direction Sharf was in. He didn't want to leave the guy wandering around town and maybe getting into trouble.

"Sharf," he called a bit, knowing it was too quiet for him to hear. He sighed and then took a step forward. "Girls, I'm gonna get Sharf," He thought about it. If they all went it'd draw attention to Sharf who was already getting some strange looks. But if they just stood around in the middle of the town doing nothing it'd also draw attention. He shook his head. "You girls keep following those boys. I'm not sure were there headed but there going in the direction of an inn anyways and we a room or two." He pulled out a bag of money and held it out for one of the girls to take. "Follow the boys but get a room at the first Inn you see, regardless of whether they stop or not. I'll be right there, hopefully with Sharf, okay?"

He waited for some acknowledgement before he'd start back for Sharf.

Scharf's eyes continued to scan the crowds. It was true that he stuck out like a sore thumb among the village inhabitants and tourists, but he didn't seem to notice or he just didn't care. He pursed his lips thinking with narrowed eyes. 'If I was an snake or or a bird where would I go...' His only answer was under a rock or in a tree sadly.
Continuing to search with his eyes, the man in armor was soon spotted. With a little gasp he cheerfully babbled "Shiny!" while taking a step towards him. A young tourist bumped into him though stopping his idiotic actions and lending him a hand in finely spotting Ryker, Ziz and Hinda. "Oh hey there they are." He grinned waving at them still a little slow at getting any bad vibes from 'Mr. shiny armor man'.

Hinda accepted the money from Ryker, nodding. She watched for a moment as he went off, turning her attention to the two boys quickly, hoping they hadn't lost the two while they had been distracted with conversation. She looked at Ziz.
"W...We should F...follow before we lo...lose them..."
She tried to be as normal as possible while following the two, but she felt awkward knowing she was pretty close to stalking the two for some unknown reason.

He cast a wary eye over the person in the armor and was glad to see he was pretty much the same as last time he looked over. He politely pushed his way through the towns people before coming to a stop in front of Sharf.

"I thought you weren't coming with us," He said and smiled, putting a hand on his hip.

The guy in armor had in fact began to notice the strange group, or rather Scharf. His actions and appearance were bazaar, he stuck out plainly against the crowd. The mans arms crossed in front of his chest, a hand rubbing his chin thoughtfully as he observed Scharf. Not to long after, another boy came up to him, and was speaking with him. The man grew more thoughtful, and continued to observe.

Meanwhile, Keyo and his brother were walking on ahead. Keyo was so absorbed in not attracting the armor man's attention and Lan was so busy sight seeing, neither noticed the two girls that began to follow them. They kept to one direction, going straight ahead and at a determined pace, indicating they knew where they were heading. Suddenly, both gave a sharp turn to the right, taking another road that was almost hidden among the crowd, and that seemed to lead more into the central part of the town. If anyone had been following them and were not paying attention, they could of missed the boys turn and lose them completely.

There it was, the inn, and at the moment Keyo's sanctuary. The sooner he and his brother got inside, the sooner they would be out of that man's sight for sure, even if they had made a turn. Taking a risky move, Keyo glanced behind him to see if the man had followed them, the light flashing off his deep, ocean blue eyes. His attentioned focused on spotting a shine of gleaming armor, he still failed to realize they really were being followed, just by those he didn't expect to follow them.
Catching no sign of the armored man, he turned his gaze away and looked forward once more, the inn coming closer and closer to them. Reaching the door, Lan went in front of his older brother and shoved it open first, running right inside. Keyo followed soon after, but at a slower pace. The door closed behind them, though the noise inside matched the noise going on outside.
The inn was currently crowded during this time of day, and Keyo had a bit of trouble making his way to the front desk. Lan, however, was already their, jumping up and down. Geez, its like he really is a mouse, Keyo thought with a smile, though his brother did have the mouse anima. Maybe that's why he was able to move through crowds so easily, or just his size.
At last reaching the counter, Keyo stumbled a bit after tripping over someone's foot, but quickly caught himself by reaching out a hand to catch the counter. Straightening up, he looked at the innkeeper like the trip never happened. "One room please, two beds," he told the innkeeper, who responded by saying the price, which was five bronze coins. Keyo fished the cash out, placing it on the counter. The innkeeper took the money, and turned to retrieve their room key. Keyo patiently waited, no longer anxious now that they were no longer out in the open. His brother seemed to have sensed his brother relaxing, for his mood seemed even cheerier now. His gaze wasn't focused on the innkeeper, but rather to a group that were exchanging stories with one another.

A smile crossed her face as the two led them to an inn. She walked in, hesitating as she saw just how many people there were. She increased the grip on the money, slowly making her way through the crowd.

Ryker laughed when Scharf hugged him mostly at his explanation but also because Scharf's very presence inspired a lightness of heart, usually. "The girls are getting things settled at an Inn, and I told them I'd be following right behind them." He glanced around like he was checking out the market wares, but trying to covertly see what the man in armor and other suspicious people were up to. "I'm sure they won't mind you coming along. We need two rooms anyways." He said.

He waited for Scharf's response. Now that the girls were out of site he wondered exactly why he'd sent them ahead besides previously mentioned reasons. He felt that he should have but now he wondered just exactly how he was going to find them again. Well. He knew they were going to end up at an Inn. Lot of help that did.

He pointed forwards in some random direction, not sure what a inn was in the first place. Remote forests usually didn't have inns, so it couldn't be helped.

Lan's voice sliced through his thoughts, and he looked down at his little brother. "Yes?"
"I'm hungry, can we eat?"
Keyo nodded, pointing out an empty table, "Sure thing, we can sit there." Lan gave a cheerful smile, running right on over. Picking a seat, he sat right on down on his knees, bouncing up and down. Keyo followed soon after, pulling out a chair and sitting as well.

Alone he would have done his best to melt into the crowd, but by appearances alone that was nigh impossible with Scharf as far as he knew. He walked at a leisurely pace often commenting or pointing at anything that caught his attention in an attempt to look like he wasn't following a trail. He would pause if Scharf wanted to look at something he was taken with to keep up appearences.

Finally he came to a place where there was a sharp turn into the more central of town. He'd barely noticed it but he was keeping an eye out for Honda and Ziz so it wasn't unusual for it to have caught his attention. But which way would they have gone? The boys, that is. Straight or turned... he frowned and decided it wouldn't hurt to ask where an inn was. It would be a lead.

He walked up to a stand that sold pretty jewelry and tried to catch the attention of the merchant there. "Oi, hey, can I ask where an inn is? A close one?" He asked the merchant.

((Katsa or anyone I guess, can take control of the merchant to answer the question. There's two options: point them to where the group is and make it easy, or to a different location and conflict! I'll add a new character now if it's a new location. Or, or you can tell Ryker and Scharf to get lost which would just make us go around in a circle. ))

The man in armor had watched to two wonder off, and he seemed to be considering if he should follow them or not. After awhile, though, he shrugged it off and turned away.

The merchent turned to see a young man and an older... um, stranger man. The appearance of Scharf rather set the merchant off edge, and he squinted his eyes slightly. His eyes shifted back and forth between the two boys, though when he spoke it was directed at Ryker.

"Just head off that way," he pointed straight ahead. "There's an inn closeby, can't miss it. It sticks out obviously against the other buildings, and pretty decent at a reasonable price. There's also an inn that way," the man paused to point down the road that suddenly veered off from the main one, "but its further off."

Ryker thanked the man kindly and stared down the road, his choices still a bit split. "Hey, Scharf, which way do you think we should go?" He glanced to the crocodile anima in hopes that he had some sort of insight. He didn't want to make the decision for fear that he'd make the wrong one. He sighed and glanced at a pretty necklace with a light green gem that was slightly opalescent in the light.

Thinking about it, the going to the one farther away was a good thing, because if Hinda and Ziz weren't there they could just double back and reach the closer inn. He slipped into the turn, hands in his pockets, following the trail laid out before him. In a surprisingly short time the two made it to the Inn the merchant had spoken of. It wasn't blatantly sticking out, but Inns were easy to spot. "Well, here it goes." He opened the door and entered the inn.

Wearing no shoes or feet protection Scharf happened to step on something sharp, he let out a deep hiss leaping forwards and straight into Ryker's back taking both of them out and to the ground. "It hurt, it hurt!" He cried, staying glued to Ryker's back.

He sniffed, inhaled ungodly amounts of dust and almost hacked up a lung. He tried to pull himself back up but realized he couldn't because there was a foreign weight on him. Craning his head, he could see Scharf's hair and he realized the guy was clinging to his back.

"Scharf." He groaned. "What hurt?" He gave up trying to struggle and get back up.

Scharf stopped whining long enough to hear Ryker say 'What hurt?', what had hurt him he wondered. He released his death grip from Ryker's shirt and pushed himself up into a sitting position, still now sitting on top of Ryker though. He examined his foot then around the floor, "I don't know, but it hurt my foot." He smiled sweetly down at Ryker fully recovered from his horrific injury apparently.

Their anima: Seagull. He has wings (Like Cooro) that get darker and darker at the bottom.
How they got their anima: When Koi was younger, he lived by the ocean, and wasn't a very happy kid. One day while standing on the cliff's nearby his home, Koichi let himself fall over the edge of it. While falling, his anima appeared, and his wings stopped him from dieing.
Physical description: Light greyish black hair, which is spiky and a bit long, with light brown eyes. He's a pale whitish color. He's about 5"6 and rather skinny.
Personality: Koi is a fun-loving, friendly, and sheepish guy. In front of crowds he get's really nervous, and doesn't enjoy talking in front of others. He deeply loves flying, and when around other people he's very happy, and easy-going. While alone though, he's quiet and often daydreaming.
