KovuLKD left without saying anything, so I'm not sure anyone will be able to answer that. He kept the source code, so any major updates are not doable at this moment. He may pick up the project once more, but for now, he's not made it clear whether he's working on it or not, and if he is, he hasn't given an update to anyone.
