Winds of Change

OPENING DATE: March 20, 2019

120 Moons have passed since the creation of the four Clans, each learning the best way to survive in their respective territories. Not long after their establishment, the leaders quickly learned that each Clan lacked in one way or another and what they lacked proved that survival more difficult than anticipated. With this came a decision agreed upon by every leader - A Truce of Fellowship. Once every moon, days before the Gathering, each Clan meets at the gathering location with supplies that another Clan lacks in. Prior to this, leaders and their high ranks discuss when, where, and for how long one Clan is allowed to hunt on their territory for either herbs or prey.
Fast forward to present day, and trouble has began to brew as GullyClan begins to grow tired of this trade, believing that the other Clans are holding back on their part of the trade and thinking that they're the ones who give the most.

Semi-Realistic! By this, we mean that realistic colors are a must while unrealistic markings (within reason!) are not. Realistic ears, tails; Eyes, pupils, etc. are required. Unrealistic eye colors, such as purples and reds, are not allowed in WoC.
  a) when it comes to character interactions, illnesses, and injuries you are not required to check with staff first. If your character has trouble seeing, is blind, has an over/under bite, or even has a broken tail you do not have to get staff permission. Things such as missing limbs and other possibly life-threatening ailments do have to be checked with staff, however we are not too strict with this!

"Literate" in FH terms! We ask that posts have a minimum of 3 sentences. Everyone has off days, so we just ask that you try your best to keep the spelling and grammar errors to a minimum. Advice is to describe your surroundings, your character's thoughts, etc.

Long-term! Having been in development since October of last year, it's safe to say that we're here for the long run!

Original Ideas! While the idea of an arctic climate roleplay isn't original in that sense on it's own, WoC has unique elements to it. Such as annual holidays, group-wide ceremonies, and new types of seasons!

Bump for a bit of a big update!

Winds of Change has recently gone through a major change in staff and a small change in High Ranks. Due to matters known within the Discord, the map has began to be re-made by one of our amazing members, primal, and we now have a new opening date. Set for March 20th, a canon event is also set to happen on the 16th (tomorrow!) to push the group into the opening plot.
