Title: How to make "Go home" work in FH+

Hey guys! Sameth here again with ANOTHER FH+ fix. It seems many people are having a lot of problems with FH+ and getting trapped in maps, so I'm here to help...again.

Step 1. Download this: http://www.mediafire.com/?bl7o1nzs6rn7ubi (http://www.mediafire.com/?bl7o1nzs6rn7ubi) This is the Lonely Cave map directly from the regular FH.

Step 2. Go into your FH+ folder. It will be in different places depending on where you installed it. Try c/feralheart+ or c/programfiles(X86)/Feralheart+. It'll be in one of those locations. it may or may not have a plus at the end.

Step3: Put the file you just downloaded into exports.

Step 4: When you run FH+ you'll be able to use the "Go Home" command...however Lonely cave will be UGLY. The best thing to do is just turn to the left and take the glowing portal in the water to the Cape. After that, you can enjoy FH+ as it was meant to be enjoyed :)

Post by: Jitters on February 20, 2012, 07:51:27 pm: The file needed in the download can be found in the regular FH with the rest of the default maps. C/Feralheart/media/terrains/FHmaps And copy the file "Lonely cave" and use that.

Post by: Jitters on April 02, 2012, 07:32:45 pm: hmmm I know there is a glitch related to the game not making an exports file, try getting a new installer and try re-installing it. I don't think just making an exports file works.... If not try asking in the help board!

Post by: Jitters on April 02, 2012, 07:45:05 pm: The regular FH+ installer. If you know how to use torrents then use that one, but if not just redownload the FH+ installer and re-install it. The other thing you can do is wait a little while, Simba has announced an update including the fix for this problem, so it shouldn't be too much longer now.

Post by: Jitters on June 12, 2012, 03:45:30 am: Make sure you go to regular FH and move your character to bonfire and log out there. Then in FH+ you can change them over.

I keep getting asked about it by newbies in help chat who downloaded FH+ and not FH. I always told them to get FH and move their char to Cape, Bonfire or Temple of Dreams as those were the only compatible maps between the two games.. But this makes it so much easier.
If only they read these tutorials first.. I'm learning so much just browsing through XD

When i re installed the game and when i try to turn it on my screen goes black and then when my screen shows up the game turns on for a second and then-nothing! I try to turn it on again but the screen blacks out again and then my desktop shows up again but nothing! What do I do? :'(

Post by: FlutterDust on August 24, 2012, 04:24:44 pm: I've tried downloading the Lonely Cave file, but this message always pops up: FeralHeart.exe -Unable to locate Component. This application has failed to start because d3dx9_42.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. Does that mean I have to re-install the game, or I have to re-install the lonely cave file?

I made it to lonely cave, but similar to the other person earlier, the floor and portal are black. When I approach the portal (or where I think it is) it tells me that I do not have the map file. Does FH+ not come with any default maps? If not, I just need to locate the one that the portal would take me too.

Just downloaded today, so I apologize if I'm a bit slow to learn. I just can't seem to find any way to select what maps to go to or anything... Sorry.

You may have done it wrong try installing FH+ again but makes sure to delete the files along with it Like what I mean is to make sure you uninstall it then delete the files then go back re-installl it put the download in your FH folder and boom there you go ^-^

If it does not work contact the maker of this thread or me You get it i'm sure of it ^-^
