Public Map Pack Project
The general aim of this world is to successfully create different/separate habitats and biomes for all different kinds of unique characters, species and role-plays, to play around or even socialise in within the Feral Heart game. You will notice an Island temporarily named "Default". This is where players will first spawn as they enter this map, where people will first enter from Cape of Distant Worlds.
The red dots you see next to the black pointers are a rough estimate of how big a character would be compared to the map itself. Yep! There's gonna be a lot to explore. But please understand that this kind of work can not be done over night! So you'll have to bare with me for... a while.
As said previously, the aim of this world is to create different/separate habitats and biomes/maps to fit the needs of role-plays and players with social interests and love for different environments. As you can see, all maps/biomes/habitats are separated as though they were continents. I feel this design works more effectively than walls, as things all of a sudden feel so much bigger, and less claustrophobic. Even though they are separate, in the layout above you will see how well all the different habitats/biomes connect in order to make sense. I showed this by creating a form of "world map".
To give you a better image of what each map/habitat/biome will be like, the snowy/winter biome will be designed for the purpose of many species that can found in a snow/ice covered habitat. The species could include animals such as; polar bears, wolves, huskies, arctic foxes, and even fantasy/fictional characters that people may want to belong in these different/specific habitats. However, with these being separate maps and habitats, it makes it all that more difficult to connect them in terms of trying to make teleportation seem all that more natural, but fun at the same time. With high hopes, these maps will all be connected through tunnels and caves, whether they be connected via mountain or underground.
The only down side is that this private map pack will have so many maps, that some may even glitch out. Unfortunately this is one of the game's many faults that where never fixed and unable to fix now. But, not to worry! There will be an area designed for quick teleportation to different maps in the "Default" area for this reason only.

Once you have downloaded a chosen portal, the .png files inside the downloaded folder must be placed into Local Disk (C:) \\ FeralHeart \\ Media \\ Textures.
These portals are best seen in Cape of Distant Words. These portals cannot be seen in out-door public maps, but can be seen in out-door private maps.
