is it possible to delete posts at all?

You are not able to delete your own posts, no, only a staff member is able to remove your topics and certain posts. This is because if users are found uploading inappropriate material or text to the forum, they could easily remove their posts without any consequences, so we have it set up this way to make sure that everything can be looked over and handled properly. If you would like a thread that you have created to be removed, though, you are more than welcome to specify on the thread itself or Private Message a Staff member, asking them to remove your thread for you. I will go ahead and lock this up since your question has been answered. I hope this clears a few things up. c:
