Hey everyone, hope you're all having a good week since for me the week was kind of depression and just not nice. I have a few questions about somethings and I am sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but please don't yell at me my time lately has been hell I don't want anymore stress and misery. Anyways here are my questions, hopefully some of you can answer them for me.

1. What is commissioning and how does it work, how would I do it?

2. What are the rules with character names? Is there any rule that can help me out with someone using a name I first used and lying saying they did not know?

3. Can I please get a more recent guide on how to use blender to make meshes for feral heart? I have looked around but the only one I found seemed rather outdated and the links that take you to program downloads no longer work.

As for your questions:

1. Commissions are basically a way of getting some type of customized or private product from an artist or crafts-person in exchange for most of the time, real life money, or sometimes, internet-currency (Like Deviantart points). Basically how they work is that an artist feels like they are ready to sell their work (Here on FH, it is common for artists to sell certain presets, maps, etc.) and they put up a list of all the things they will offer with set prices. So then a customer can come by and tell the artist "Hey I really like how you make your artwork. Could I commission you to make a piece for me?" and typically, the artist would agree, and ask the customer what they would like their art piece to look like, characters they want in it, etc., have the customer pay for it, and then from there, the artist makes the piece for the customer.

You can take a look at other's threads for examples, but basically in your commission thread you want to list what kind of art you are willing to sell and the prices you wish to sell it at.

Most of the time, however, we cannot do much about the stealing of characters since technically everyone has the right to use the markings in game in which ever combination they please, but if this person is trying to impersonate you and harass you, or make a bad image out of you, then that is where Staff may be able to take action, depending on the situation. If this person has verbally harassed you in the game chats, I would suggest taking as many screenshots as you can (That include this person's username and are unedited/uncropped) and sending it to me or another staff member to take a look at.

3. As for the blender tutorials, I'm not too sure about some more recent ones as I haven't really seen many pop up and I'm not sure if many have been made recently, but the Modding and Meshing Tutorials is a good place to look, as well as doing some google searches.
