Title: Music in your map
Post by: Rimfrost on October 16, 2011, 06:09:36 pm: Wanna have your own music in your map? Want people to be able to hear it? Then read this tutorial c:

Step 1
Put the songs you wanna have in your map into FeralHeart's sound folder, FeralHeart -> media -> sounds.
After that go to the FH folder and open the music CFG file as notepad.
Type [Music group name] at the bottom of the notepad, you can name the group to what ever you want. Then hit enter and type media/sounds/song name.mp3
Then save and overwrite c:

Step 2
Now lets open the game, click on Tools and Map Maker. Create or load a map. Do you see the Music (Group or file name)?
In the box below, type the music group name.
Save and test, dont forget to put on your music volume in game.
If you can hear the music you have done right ^^

Step 3
Now how to get others be able to hear the music.
Send them the mp3 files/file, and tell them to put them in their sound folder, FeralHeart -> media ->
And the Music cfg file and tell them to put it in the FeralHeart folder, and replace their old one.

Post by: WolfBreezez28 on November 27, 2011, 06:37:26 pm: When you go into your FeralHeart folder, do not click on anyof the other folders, it should be on the list in the main part of the folder. Then click on it to open it and then click to choose a program to open it with and yous Note.

I dont even have a music group. I just have one .mp3 file Ive put into "sounds".

Edit: You go to the FH folder and scroll down, until you see a file called 'music' yew has to open that.

Hopefully this should solve everyone's issues.

As for Jennifer, FH+ is a seperate Folder from FH, you have to locate it wherever you installed it, and edit the music file in there. not the normal FH. Im not sure if you've already done this. A little more information on your issue, i might have your solution.

I can hear it, but it just makes weird noises like it's glitching? The files I am trying to use are mp3.....the spelling is all correct....the files are in the right folder...help please? D':

When I type that in the music group or file name box I hit save and test and there is no music at all. Yes, my volume is all the way up. I really need those songs in my map and it isn't working. Please reply? I have double checked, and did everything I could possibly think of. Please help me!

Btw, it isn't working for me. I did everything right, yet the music doesn't work. Maybe I should just experiment... if I figure out how to fix it, I will post again. ^^

Post by: Millyuro on June 05, 2013, 04:15:56 am: Okay!!! I have figured it out! Just forget the whole music.cfg part, and just paste the mp3 in FH>Media>Sounds.
Go into FH>Tools>MapMaker, and type in the name of the mp3 into the music box thingy. Click save and/or test, and voila!!!

I did everything that was said to do,(example: Song.mp3 or Song Title.mp3(in the music.cfg)) Then I removed it from the music.cfg after testing and still, nothing. My sound is up on both my computer and FH. Any suggestions on help? Should I try in game testing too? Please help :( :'(
