Title: Anime Role-Playing?

I've had this problem in the past, where I tried to join a Warriors Clan, and they wouldn't let me, since I had based my cat off of a 'Fruits Basket' (Which is an anime, for those who might've not known~) character, and they kicked me out after they had found out. I didn't understand why... It was really weird.

Have you had any thing similar to this, or been criticized on your character because of this?
I know, it sounds ridiculous, but it actually happens.

That's just seems childish.

Basing a persona' for your character after some Anime character is just fine. People that judge you for that need to think this through. You can't 'own' a personality. And basing your character off an Anime character wouldn't change anything Role-play wise. People just need to stop and think.

I have a WC Character with the same nam as the James Bond Movie 'GoldenEye', and I didn't get kicked for it either o3o
It seems rather rude to do that just because of the fact they are based off of an anime or something else.
