Copy and pasting in FH and Saving Movies
« on: August 24, 2019, 10:54:53 pm »
I think the title explains itself for the first part, but if not;
Copying and pasting things from your clipboard into chat, bio's, etc. Everything, really. Whenever someone wants to join my roleplay group and ask for the lore, I have to type it all out, which is just annoying when I could be pasting it in- especially when they leave mid-typing... Movie makers could paste their speech dialogue in, so it's always the same and they don't have to type it out. Some people like to write roleplay posts on other websites and then paste them in case something happens, but you can't in FH. You can't send links to others (links to discords, sites, etc. for roleplays) nor copy and paste them into your browser. I'm sure there are plenty of more reasons why this would benefit a good number of players. Not being able to copy and paste into things was always annoying for me.

Saving movies; saving all your settings on a movie you made. From the speech dialogue to the emotes. Everything. Not too game-changing, just a convenience.

Thanks for probably wasting your time reading this. x)

The copy and pasting idea is a popular one, although I haven't heard someone come up the idea to save movies, such a great one! Being able to save movies would really help advertisers. I'm with both of these ideas. Thank you for sharing them with us!

On the mention of Copying and Pasting... have you noticed that FeralHeart can't highlight text? Kind of important for copying and pasting things. Otherwise you could only do it in full and just copy the entire box of text with a button. xD

I do think that copying and pasting would make things more convenient though. Same with the ability to save what you put into the Movie Maker.
For the sake of my own health and interests, I've left FH and I won't be looking back.

Definitely love these ideas and have seen the link/copy and paste one a lot.

Copying and pasting would be very useful though it could easily lead to a lot of trolling and possibly even spam. I’d love to have it but could see it going really wrong really fast. Not sure if there would be a way to restrict certain links and such.
Itd be nice if there were a way to delete chats, like say someone posted a link that wouldn’t be allowed or said something very unnecessary and a staff member was on they could have the option to remove it from the chat in some way with some sort of command or a simple little x next to it. (Not sure is that would be possible either)

I think copying and pasting text would come in handy. xSpirit the code master even said that so.
I also like your “Save movies” idea. Haven’t heard of that one before~
