I have to say I am very annoyed with the fact I can not get on Feral Heart and haven't been able to in a long time. I have been able to log in, choose my character and then it can not connect to the server.
My connect to my internet is fine, I have tried at my friend's, my grandparent's, and the public library. None of which have changed that I can't play..
I have installed the new version as well and keep the browser open when logging in.

If you can login to see your characters, but you cannot enter the game itself it's most likely that you've not reset your characters home position.
You can do so but going on the home page of FeralHeart, logging into the yellow box next to the banner, and then clicking "User panel". In there you can reset home and go home with any character and it should start in the new maps.
You should also try making a new character right away as it should pop into the new maps.

If this is not your problem then it should be something with your connection to the game servers or that the game itself.

I made a new character and left lonely cave, managed to walk around Cape for a few minutes and tried to go to another map, it didn't let me and lost connection again...

Any custom maps or a public map?
Also, is that tab kicking you off? If so you should get a tab refresher or simply try a different browser.

I have only downloaded one map pack but I don't know if it's still there, I haven't made any maps either.
I am not being kicked off, its just saying to retry connection and never does anything when I click okay.
No the most tech savvy person here, sorry if I am not understanding.

Is your IP the same? Or is it different (?)
It could be something with the internet and you should try contacting the provider, assuming that the places you listed are using the same service provider.

It worked fine and then randomly stopped and I haven't been able to do anything.

Well you could give that link I sent a go just in case. Also, if you're the only one that has been experiencing this problem then it might be something with how your computer is connecting to the server.

Is the program being allowed through? ( Like anti-virus or some other software that normally scans FH? )
Is your proxies off & if you can, can you see if you can log into the game using a mobile device or even a mobile hotspot?

How do I turn proxies off or know if they are on?

Click the tools button and then select internet options.
You'll then click the connections tab and select the one that says LAN settings
Then you'll uncheck the the proxy server ( if it's checked ). And then just hit okay until you return to your internet browser.

I would suggest a few things. First off, a virus scan, because viruses can cause a mass variety of issues. If nothing comes up then I would suggest you completely erasing Feral Heart from your computer and then reinstalling it. Just a simple uninstall doesn't get rid of all of the files, you have to uninstall it and then get rid of all of the files associated with Feral Heart, then you can reinstall the game. (You can back up files in other folders to put in later if you have presets or items/markings you want to keep) If this doesn't work then it most likely has to do with the permissions involved in your computer, whether it be an anti-virus software messing with it or something else. However from the fact you can't see any of your characters, I think it's safe to assume your files have been messed with and a complete refresh for Feral Heart is needed.
This is only in case what Hakumi suggested doesn't work. Otherwise resetting home and sending them home might be the answer to your problem.

Is your anti-virus allowing the program through? ( Assuming that you have, in fact, installed the game ).

I dont even have an anti virus on my computer anymore.

You might be missing some key files there floof. . If it's not opening up at all.
Edit: A quick recap ( Hopefully I'm not missing anything )
- Make sure you re-downloaded / re-installed the game correctly. The files being in the correct places / not corrupted / tampered or messed with.
- Try Running the game as an administrator.
- Restart your router if you have to. It might help. Along with this, try logging into the Login Tab. Make sure to keep this page up ~!
- Make sure your proxies is turned off.
- Try switching Rendering Systems. On top of this, make sure you reset the character's locations and then sent them home via user panel.
- Make sure your anti-virus isn't effecting the files and that it hasn't removed any of the files. Make sure that there isn't any Duplicate Files / Particles in the folder. This won't open the game at all.
- Make sure your IP address the same? or is it different?

If you don't have an anti-virus I suggest you download AVG. It's not the best but it's not the worst either, and it's free to use. I'm assuming you tried to reset your character's home and it didn't work so you tried the uninstall and re-install? If that's the case and it's still not working, I would suggest you downloading AVG and scanning your computer. Anti-virus softwares are important because viruses can completely mess with the files on your computer. If the game itself is not opening then it means that it's either being blocked by something or is missing something.
I would get rid of every FH file and then go onto the site itself and re-download the game. Also as far as the anti-virus thing, as long as it's not a virus causing the issues then you don't need an anti-virus program to play the game. Even if I do recommend you having one.

Okay, I got it back, just had to use Utorrent. I can't reach the front server again. Gah!
I have AVG I just don't think its actually active, I havent scanned in almost a year according to it..

Did you go through the list and made sure you did each thing ( If you needed to ) / tried them out?

Make sure to do a scan if you haven't already. As far as not being able to reach the front server, there's also a chance that your internet might be too slow for the game. And if not that, if you have a lot of things on your computer, it might not have the memory for it. If you have a lot of games on it, I would suggest removing one and seeing if you have any luck. Also a lot of the time it takes multiple tries to get online. You have to log into both the play game tab and the game itself, sometimes you have to keep logging into the actual game before it finally lets you on.

How do I try logging in as an administrator? This is getting really frustrating because I don't understand computers well and my dad isn't home for the next few days. Lol.

Make sure you have reset your character's homes and then sent them home via user panel. It could be that they're in a map that no longer exists ~

I can't get into the user panel. It's just refreshing the page and makes me log in again.

Sometimes it does this for me ( whenever I use Firefox ).
You could try using google chrome or even from your mobile device and seeing if that works(?)

That might be a glitch with the site at the moment, I think you should contact a staff member and ask them about it.

Google Chrome, as far as I know has some issues with certain things. For using your phone you just go on the site normally on it and then log in in the play game tab. I only suggest doing this if you have unlimited internet or you don't have a prepaid plan.

Have you tried logging in when using another browser? And to use your phone you would go to the main feral-heart page. ( Not when you click forums but the 'old' lay out ). And then login into the yellow box.

Well if by chance it's something that they have had to deal with before then it might be something they'll be able to help with. There's also a chance it's a glitch and if that's the case it most likely has been reported to them already.

I would suggest you look at your internet settings and see if you have anything blocked. You might want to try using Firefox and see if that works, that's what I use. I hope that things work out for you floof, you've been working really hard to get this game up and running. I'm sure there's a solution somewhere!

I'm not sure how Google Chrome works, but to see if something's blocked I think you should look at the help bar on your browser or the tools bar and see if there's anything that says special permissions, blocks, or security.
If there's an options part anywhere in your browser then I would press that and look to see if there's any security options. And you're welcome, just trying to help you out x3

Although if it's still all black on your phone internet, that would probably have to do with either the browser you're using if it's the same for both, or if you use the same internet service provider for both your phone and normal internet, it might have something to do with that.

To upload an image, try uploading it to TinyPic and copy the second url option it gives you, fluff. That way we will be able to see what's going on. c: ^^
As for your issue, I'm going to break things down a bit so that we can try to understand what's wrong with your connection to the game. First, I would try uninstalling the game and re-downloading it, regardless if you've already done so. Lag may be an issue with connecting, as well, so I would recommend the Light version this time. The Light version is not as detailed as the Full version and has less meshes, but our main priority is to make sure you can get on the game.
Once you've re-installed the game, try creating a new character, not one you already have. It doesn't have to be fancy, just a character that you haven't created yet. When you're done making that character, select him/her and try to play the game. Do you still see black?
