What exactly happened when it crashed? Error messages?

I got a similar problem look for help too... Mine game doesn't crash - when I jump into Pathways portal tha game loads slowly and it finally says 'Bad token'. I even deleted all my maps and object to be sure nothing form outside make game crash and it's still the same...
My computer components are accurate to the game, so it is not the comp fault.
There must be something faulty in maps pack.

Same here :) mostly when I enter I get bad token. when I reload, I enter the map.
10% of the time is just crashes ...
but those maps are like more then 100MB togheter. those new items and things are making it heavy ...
so I already kicked out of few maps of the pack to make it go easier ... but it really has his moments.
sometimes it goes smooth, other time it runs like hell ...
A better option would be upload each map in a single file, so that people can determine what they want ... because deleting some maps doesn't really help because they aren't that heavy. It are the objects :(
so if you have bad token, just reload. if your game crashes, restart the game. there is nothing else you can do I think.

I have a problem with the map pack too. Except i don't see the portal. :(

As for "Bad Token," that just means that it failed to load. Close anything that uses the internet, as well as other programs, and try again. If that doesn't work try again later. Please don't start deleting files because of a bad token, you may end up deleting an important file, and make more of a mess.

Sometimes your computer doesn't have enough memory for it to run, or it's a slow computer.
Try deleting unused programs, closing a few windows, and restarting your computer.
Either that, or you might not have the latest patch. ^^

Sometimes if your computer is low on memory, large games like this crash easily. ^^
