Title: How'll You Howl?

How'll you howl,
With a pain in the neck,
With a stab in the back,
And an ache in the chest?

How'll you howl,
When having weight on your shoulders,
Being thrown to the ground,
And mockingly laughed at?

How'll you howl,
Sick to your knees,
With tears swelling your eyes,
And devastation surrounding?

How'll you howl,
With a pounding headache,
With pounding eardrums,
And a pounding emotion?

How'll you howl,
With your soul in the blues,
Feeling down in the dumps,
And a smack in the face?

So how'll you howl,
With a pain in the neck,
With a stab in the back,
And an ache in the chest?

So how'll you howl,

So how'll you howl,
When you're sick to you knees,
With tears swelling your eyes,
And devastation surrounding?

So how'll you howl,

Feeling down in the dumps,
And a smack in the face?

Without hope,
Without happiness,
And with melancholy.

With a quiver,
With a sigh,
But never say die.



Lots of metaphorical-type things you hear a lot in here. ^^

Me likes how dark the poem is 'n how it mirrors despair yet also a sense of strength among the defeated. I do say it sends a message, even. Although, I'll let others portray themselves without my tongue's say.
