hiding behind the mask
« on: November 27, 2016, 09:02:35 am »
i'm a girl who gets depressed so often and its hard for me to hold it back, I got bullied back in Elementary and i still do get bullied at times, everytime i feel like i got shot in the guts or got stabbed, The pain hurts and sometimes i've been feeling like suicide, i spend my days trapped in my room and i start to cry, all i ever wanted was help but.. nobody ever understood me, They just felt like i was some crazy girl..

I just had this write this poem, just to show you guys how i really feel, inside and out

anyways

enjoy this poem i made

Hiding the hurt, hiding the pain
Hiding the tears that fall like rain.
Saying I'm fine, when I'm anything but.
This ache in my soul rips at my gut.
My skin is on fire, I burn from within.
The calm on my face is an ongoing sin.
The world must stay out, I've built up a wall.
My fragile lie will collapse should it ever fall.
Loneliness consumes me, it eats away the years
Until my life is swallowed by unending fears.
Waiting for someone to see I wear a mask
And care enough to remove it, is that too much to ask?

That poem is beautiful

I'm sorry to hear you've been going through so much. If you ever want someone to talk to, I'd love to talk with ya c: I've been dealing with depression recently and so it might help to vent to someone who understands somewhat of what the depression part feels like.

Aww, i'm so glad to hear that ^^. Really, I am. If you ever want to PM me, go for it! Or, I can give you my skype and we can chat through there if you want. I can use any instant messenger you have,or that you can think of. I don't have many people to talk to, so I'm sure it could be a good thing for us both

Awe; I hope you're okay.
As previously said I'll always be here for you. I have been bullied as well since I am genderfluid.
You can come talk to me anytime.
On leave.

As much as I am quite sorry for your troubles, the only thing I can say is that you need to get help.
I may come off as an ass, yes, but that is the only thing I can say to you. I will not sit around and feed into your self-pity unless you get the help you need. You are not the only one feeling terrible, you know. I understand how you feel, and how you've felt, but you just need to ask for help. I do not know what else to say to you that doesn't sound preachy, or like an annoyance. Just get help. Our pity will not help you.

Now, as for your poem, it is quite mysteriously beautiful. It's rhyme scheme is rather smooth. However, as for some constructive criticism; there should be more vivid verbs. I mean, that is just my opinion.
stinky dog coming through, don't mind me!
