Title: Reply Box help
Post by: Ingredient on November 21, 2011, 10:03:36 am
When im typing up a reply (not the quick reply but the actually reply button) that has alot of words and that the scroll thing shows up it keeps moving up. As i type the reply box scrolls to the top where i started. I cant see what im typing up and it makes it impossible to explain things about codes and stuff to people.

I have no idea how to stop this, please help someone.

That happens with everyone if you have IE and you don't have compatability mode set. Changing browser or switching to compatability mode will solve this. Compatability mode is the page that looks torn in half, click it and the compatability mode will change, the posts will alternate between black and white and you should be able to post long posts.

The compatability thing is not on firefox. You shouldn't really be having these issues withg firefox... Is your firefox an updated version?

I think I had this issue before and all I did was to log out, restart the browser and log in again and it was working all fine.

Honestly im not sure because i havent had any pop ups asking me to get the latest Firefox so far. How would you change the compatability on IE?
