Title: How to make your own material file? SOLVED

Basically what the title says.

I'm trying to learn how to make my own materials (first time, gah, wish me luck! XD), and I found this tutorial: https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?topic=44951.0
But I can't see how much to erase, so I was hoping maybe some of you floofs out there know? I'd be very grateful! <3
