Title: Glaves Textures and Converted Meshes {Cathedral/Arena}

Update Take a look on post 3. You will have to find a good texture for the Arena as its layout is a bit odd and I do not know enough about blender to fix it.

Glave's Converted Meshes

This is also not made by me, it was from the free mesh site.

Two new converted items from free 3d model sites. Would like to thank Luckybird for finding and posting the links for them so that someone would convert them. Here is the cathedral and an arena that, sadly, I don't have the proper blender texture skills to make it look any better so anyone who can re-do the arena is quite welcome to!

Gingerbread man! I randomly stumbled upon some meshes posted that Lucky wanted converted and chose this one since I will be needing it for a map I am working on. There will soon be many other fun items to go along with him so keep a look out for my updates!

Attention! I did NOT make these! These are from Wombat that I have converted to use on FH. Kudos goes to their creators.

Swords! The moment I posted this image on DA I got a flood of response! Everyone wants swords so here you go! Sorry, there is no Object file for them but it gives you the choice of texturing it with either normal or rusty appearance. Please enjoy them!

PLEASE READ: Decided to do all the buildings that I re-textured, WARNING this download has LOTS of textures! They are the same Wombat buildings that Jayfeather55 has and I think a few extras. I re-textured them with some old masonry to make it appear unused. This stuff actually has a .object file as it took a LONG time to texture these. The tower seen in these shots is HUGE and I made a ramp and floor system <it did not have one> don't like it? use object maker to tear it apart or use the mesh itself to start fresh! YES you can go inside MOST of these buildings. Many of these buildings are pieces to a castle so you have to move them together and possibly build ramp and floor systems to be able to climb into them. <post here if you have trouble or if something is missing from the set! I have TONS of meshes in my_objects so its likely something didn't get copied> Final Note: The object file contains a couple other items that wont show up. <Motherload, BrokenTower and Slycastle> BrokenTower is just an oops, Tower is the one your looking for. Motherload is a big mess, till I get it usable, its unavailable. Slycastle is NOT MINE! Its slycans, please download it from their sight! <see post 5>

Human stuff is all now in a bundle! It has everything seen in the pic along with some extra tinderboxes that are pretty much the same as the first but the texture layout on them was different.

Human tools in a bundle! Finally fixed the last of the tools. Please note there are two types of toolhead and toolhandle textures, the one on these objects here is the second which is an older rusty look, interchange them as you please, and enjoy!

A series of carts. "Got Horses?" Only got the meshes themselves in this load as the material I used was 'rezpawood' and it didn't look that great on them. I lost interest in trying to find a proper material so do some experimenting with these and have fun!

WOW this took a long time! An EXHAUSTIVE collection of various oak trees. This collection seems to have it all going stump,sapling,young,oak and old oak trees! Even some fallen ones and a bare tree. For those of you looking for a variety, I think you have found it. Also the foliage on these trees can be changed to Fall and Summer foliage <see second pic which also includes a huge double tree> Be sure to read the 'ReadMe' file that goes with it!

Yea, rocks are plain and ordinary, but then again, how does one get a cluster of rocks without having to reshape and place each one? Answer? ROCK CLUSTER!!! PERFECT, along with a bunch of new rocks too, and wait what is this? Stalactites? AWESOME! Woa and what? A cave even!! <see second pick for the inside>
I didn't show all the rocks here folks. The boulders were kinda a pain to texture and the 10 different types of falcite boulders are really just pairs and singles of different shaped rocks. The stalactites on the left have the limestone texture <included> and the ones on the right use the different brown rockmats already in game. Enjoy peeps!
Note: The cave also uses the Moss and Root textures from the WombatFoliage set!

Random Textures and Other Stuff

Just some things I have created using textures I modified for FH as well as some random items that I built that perhaps others might find useful.

What the hey? Its hay!! Round bales for the fields and stackable square bales for the barns or wherever else they are needed! Enjoy!

A lighthouse using one of the Wombat houses. This Lighthouse can be a little versatile as you can change the house out if you would like to use another one. If your curious about the light source and particle, check them out on my DA page! <link in signature> URGENT!!!!: You will need to pay close attention to the readme file. You are going to need to have previously downloaded the wombat buildings as several textures and a mesh is used from that pack and I see no point in re-packaging everything, it just takes up time and its simpler for you so you don't have duplicates somewhere along the way. There is also a glow billboard from Zaepher's stuff used <see post 5 for her link> If you want the glow on the crystal <its not completely important if you don't want to go to the trouble> but i recommend downloading her glow pack just cause its awesomely useful. :) Enjoy!!

Bigsweets, a set full of the most delectable chocolate sweets topped with ice cream! There is a great 'Willy Wonka' style chocolate water too, mmmmmmm YUMMMEH!!!! The Chocolate chip and ice cream textures I made to be seamless so they can be great ground textures!

Flower Set! A small collection of flowers as it has been requested to me more than once. As well, I finally decided to place my rose bushes here so they are now downloadable. This is a stable I put together using in game basic shapes and in game textures. Please note that resizing this object must be done carefully to avoid gaps. Always make sure all three 're-size' boxes should be the same number, ex: 1, 1, 1 or 1.6,1.6, 1.6
The link provided will give you a .object file. Make sure you put this in : Feralheart>Media>Objects : Feel free to save it into some other object group of your choosing and delete the 'Stable.object' file if you don't like it in its own group.

Ocean set is completed! I went with two types of coral <the big white bunch of stuff near the top, and some brain coral next to the barnacles. I have a new Pearl gem color and of course all my other gem textures make great pearls as well.

sorry Copper, I haven't gotten the Temple in a bundle yet. I was going to put it together with some other stuff first, but I will get it up when I get the chance. I am working on three maps of my own as well as two commissions so it will take some time.

i must say, the human thigs meshes are REALLY cool!.....if i could only see the texture of them ^^'. They don't show up on the object maker.

p.s. i use objects folder instead of my_objects cuz that's what works for me!

You have to texture them yourself using the .MATERIAL file that came with the download.

There is a .MATERIAL file in there..

You right click on the .MATERIAL file, and click "open with...". Choose notepad.

I checked my files, it should be there just like Jayfeather says its called containers.MATERIAl and if you open it with notepad it will have lots of text in there. Pay close attention to anything it says after the word Material. example, the first thing on that list is 'Material BottleJug'. write all those down and when you go into Object Mater, type in the mesh and when it pops up, in the text box below the mesh one you put    BottleJug if its the bottlejug.

in object maker you need to put manually the material names that come in the .material script.

I explained how to add them a few posts back but Thierry has worked up something for you there, thank you Thierry!
Also the regular bottle's main body was textured using 'crystalMat' as its material which is already in the game. The original material for it was for an alcoholic drink and I wasn't sure I should promote that lol! If you do want the original mat for it I can always send a link for you to copy it if anyone likes. Personally, I like the crystal mat, it makes it glossy like a glass bottle should be.

"OakFoliage, OakFoliageFall, OakFoliageSummer" are all optional materials for if you wish to change ONLY THE LEAF TEXTURE of each of the trees to fit a seasonal type map. there is also "OakBark" in there as one of the trees did not use the OakComplete properly.

sorry Firespirit, you have to put in the textures yourself. Most of them should use the same name as the mesh. When you downloaded them you should have gotten the material files: WombatFoliage I think is the moss one, and you should just have to type in "Moss" for that.
If you need a list of Material you may have to wait, I am a little swamped right now.....no pun intended XD...and can't dig that info up just this second. OakComplete is the one for pretty much ALL of the oak tree stuff. Type that into the material box for each mesh and it should give you bark, leaves and branches all in that one material.

Sounds like you might just be getting the names wrong. Make sure you watch out for caps! You must spell it exactly how its spelled in the material file. You may want to go through and look for 'WombatFoliage' open it up in notepad and write down all the names after 'Material' exp: it will say Material Moss

you have to be sure that if I used a capital M then that is what you type it in. If there is not a capital then don't use it. Has to be the same.

Please be sure and check the spelling for each. OakComplete is best used for all the oak tree stuff. OakFoliage is only for the leaf part if you want a different leaf texture. If not, just use OakComplete in all the texture slots.

For the moss I do believe you have to spell it 'Moss' with a capital M. Not spanish moss, just Moss. You may want to go through to the actual Material File labeled WombatFoliage and check the spelling if you need to.

I loaded rocks just a couple days ago. I re-textured allot of the houses and stuff but Jayfeather55 had already done them. I just have different textures. I will be doing more trees when I get the chance as well as I am trying to get a group of sea shells together. It will take time, the shells are giving me a tough time lol.

I explained in either the notes with the download link or the Readme file, motherload is still being worked on, its a HUGE city mesh but I hadn't finished messing with it yet. Its a bit of a messy one and wasn't sure if anyone would want it the way it was. its rather difficult to work with it and it may cause too much lag. I will see what I can do with it.

@Firespirit: Sorry, I did not make object files for everything. I am planning on making some for future meshes and I may just take the time to make them for older ones. You must load the textures yourself for the moment and to do that you have to do that in Object Maker. Once you have the mesh up, click in the material box and type in the EXACT! name of the texture. I should have included texture names in the ReadMe notes. The Oak trees have a few retextureable options that should be listed in the Readme. Other than that, you may need to be more specific on which ones you can't find the textures for.

blood should be same as everything, use ground_pallisade.mesh and texture it with Blood

It may sink below the ground, just raise it up where you can see it.  And yes, I know, I am gonna combine the human stuff, I am just busy making maps and textures and real life lol, so yea :) One day they will be combined XD

I've read some past posts, which kinda just confsed me more... (-is speaking of Wombat Foliage,Rocks,and Oaks-)

I've tried the .materials inside them, which, as i figured, didn't work. I also tried what you stated in some posts and in the ReadMe in various formats, such as-

Etc.

I would apreciate it if you helped me.

make sure your bringing up the right mesh, the stalactites.mesh, then add that so you will see a big base white stalactite structure. Then you will type in the material box below the mesh box limestone <nothing else, no .mat, /mat limestonemat, just plain limestone

Now, you will see a little arrow just above the right side of the material box. It should have a number 1 and a > arrow. Make sure you click on that and type in limestone again!  These things can be textured with the rock meshes already in game as well, just mix and match the rock types to create some very interesting ones. In the picture on the front posts I put both a limestone textured stalactite and the other one is textured with different rock mats. Same goes for other wombat stuff, check the ( 1> ) to be sure you are putting textures on ALL the parts of the mesh.

Hmmm....when I look into the Object List for the Wombat buildings, all of the meshes come textureless. Is this normal? I couldn't get them textured manually in Object Maker.

@Korineko: No, it should load all the textures that I had placed on each one, at least that is what I would hope. The items have been downloaded over 100 times and this is the first I have heard of an issue with textures not on the items in the already made object list.
checklist:
Make sure all the stuff accept for the .object file go into FeralHeart> Media> Objects> My_Objects
Make sure the .object file is in FeralHeart> Media> Objects
Make sure you have the textures in the first place!  If not, then the problem is on my end :O
Restart your game after moving all the files to their popper places.
If none of this works, check back with me again.

Uhm... It didnt help. >.<
Can i explain what my problem is?
I type in the .mesh file... such as root.mesh, and i dont see a material for that, so when i type in the mesh, it turns up as Basewhite...
(These are the meshes and materials from the WombatFoilage) So, i typed in WombatFoilage.material and it just turned out as Basewhite.
And It's all deformed.
But the packs, like the houses/village things, they work.

the material name is described inside the .material script (open it with wordpad)
search for the correct material.

@Jazmin: Okay for the root in particular you need to type in the proper name of the material like Thierry has shown you how to find. you must type it in the material box as     Roots   that is all, no /mat or .material, just put   Roots <yes use caps for the R too, its case sensitive>

First, To take a screenshot when you are at Feral-heart press the print-screen button:

and you tried putting the word Moss where it says BaseWhite? <Moss with a capital M?>
Also be sure you click that number 1 with the arrow after it just above the Material box on the right side, then type in Moss again, you got to fill all those with the word Moss.

now i have see your screenshot, the mesh isn't deformed, the only thing missing is to change the material name.
Do the thing that Glave have say to you.
If doesn't  work...mmm put this file WombatFoliage2.material (http://www.fileden.com/files/2011/3/22/3100980/WombatFoliage2.material) where you have put the rest of meshes and restart the game.

each mesh can have many submeshes, with the number you can change the material for each submesh

Glave's Converted Meshes

WOW this took a long time! An EXHAUSTIVE collection of various oak trees. This collection seems to have it all going stump,sapling,young,oak and old oak trees! Even some fallen ones and a bare tree. For those of you looking for a variety, I think you have found it. Also the foliage on these trees can be changed to Fall and Summer foliage <see second pic which also includes a huge double tree> Be sure to read the 'ReadMe' file that goes with it!

<UPDATED POST> Please go and download the Wombat Oak again, Thierry helped provide a script that should auto load the textures for the trees. Just replace all your files with the new ones. Type up the mesh name and they should automatically load with the proper textures.

I don't mind at all. The mesh 'ground_pallisade' is actually a wombat mesh I re texture all the time. Have fun with it :)

okay, don't load them manually unless you want to change the textures. They are now in your object lists, just check them out there and sort them if you like. It will be called GLBuildings.

did you place the .png, .MESH and .Material in FeralHeart>Media>Objects>My_Objects ?

Then place the OBJECT file into FeralHeart>Media>Objects ?

If so, you should be able to go to your Object Maker and find it under your list of object files as "Blood" It should show up the way it supposed to when you add the item.

I've downloaded the buildings and the temple and another mesh is white. Everythings in the my_objects folder and i cant find the temple texture in the material file. Nothings blocking it i've checked why arent the textures showing? Another thing is the "Fallen Tower" i think its called, well the mesh isnt showing. Nothing appears when i load it up. Please help me

ATTENTION: Motherload is mentioned on the first page where you download the buildings. I am not finished tweaking it, its a bit massive and I'm not so sure its ready for anyone to download so its purposefully not included.
Slycastle IS NOT MINE! It belongs to Slycan and you must download it from him to make it work.


I have been working on building maps for some friends so I have not had allot of time to fix things. I will say that I am working on some interesting meshes today. If I am successful they will be up for download soon enough.

Okay I checked thorough all my zip files. I will re-load some of the stuff onto mediafire, new links and they should be good to go.

Strangely enough temple -2-3 are there in the zip in my own files, not sure why they aren't in other peoples....but I will reload that one too.

Also: Broken Tower is no longer needed, delete it from your object files! Its the same thing as Tower which is there already so your not missing anything!

well the temple isn't a particle so if its saying you have a problem with a particle you may need to check the last particle you downloaded. If there is more than one particle with the same name that can cause FH to crash <happened to me quite a lot while particle experimenting> I will check that the temple has all its image files one more time and then just reload it to mediafire. I will post on the thread when I have done so that way all will be able to download the update. < to double check, the temple materials are: Temple, Temple2 and Temple3 >

Okay I uploaded the newer folder of Wombat Buildings. Unfortunately the copy I have was zipped so I could add the images needed for the temple and wall but I can't edit the object file so my earlier info stays up for the time being. Please guys, let me know if something is missing <besides what is stated in the front page> so that I can get it all in the download for you. With over 300+ downloads I was surprised that the temple images had been missing and nobody had said I think till more recently lol!  Anyway Enjoy!

Meh :( SO I downloaded the snowstuff file and I was so happy. I loaded the files on the object makeer, and for every single one of them, the material file goes to base white. How do I fix that?

@denim: there should have been an object file in there somewhere called GLSnowItems. You want to put that in FeralHeart > Media> Objects       

Once its in your object files you should be able to go into object maker and it will be listed among the other objects. just pull up each item and you can re-save them into your own object lists.

@booganana: All my meshes and particles are public for everyone to use on their maps. I don't need credit for a map you built, That credit goes to you, though I do appreciate credit for the meshes/particles I built.

@Silvermoon: when you are re-textureing you will see a ( > ) arrow button at the end of the box. Click that and keep entering the texture. Let me know if that helps you.

I figure anyone loading my stuff would likely already have gotten your basic shapes and if they haven't they really should lol!! I think I only used one of your shapes in there, it was on the rainbow as the others are billboards. I can include it if enough people don't want to download your shapes, but I don't see why not, your shapes are quite useful :)

I downloaded the gems and they aren't working. I loaded the flourite crystal & then typed RubyGem for the material and it didnt work. Im a little new at this so can you please help me? Thankyou. (And yes I put all of it into the My_objects folder correctly.)

Get your flourite crystal on the 'Object Maker'. Be sure you click on it to select it. Then in the 'Material' box, type in RubyGem exactly as I typed it <capital R and G > and it should work just fine, the flouritie crystal will turn red. It will be the same for all the others as well.

Does it say 'material not found?' if so, then you are missing the material file. If not and the object comes up with yellow and black stripes, then your missing the image file.

So I've been working on trying to fix this for a couple of hours.. So with the gems, no matter what I do, I can't get the material to go on the crystal. It ALWAYS defaults back to crystalmat.... could you help me with that?

@denim: You say it 'defaults' back to crystalmat. Are you clicking on the crystal and then typing in the gem color in the material box? after that, it should show on the crystal then you have to SAVE that as something like 'Rubycrystal' or whatever name you want to save it as. I would be sure and save it into your own object file. Once you have them each saved under a new name <after the textures are placed one at a time> then you should be able to bring them up in maps.

@Ramine: Sorry, I can't imagine why it would do it, obviously it doesn't do it to me or I would never have released it. Your the first person to say it crashes your comp so I can only imagine you might have it in the wrong place. My suggestion, delete it from your comp and try going in. You may also want to check that you didn't download other stuff at the same time that may be causing issues.

@Puppy12: They are working for me and all is showing well, other people seem to to downloading them fine too so without more information I couldn't tell you what the problem is.

Lava: Sounds like a problem with the material code, did someone change it perchance? Or do you have a material file named rainbow already in your stuff that might be overlapping?

Strike that! I think I know your issue. Did you download Thierry's Basic Shapes pack? I posted in the description for you to do so because the rainbow uses one of the flat ones. <they are also quite useful on maps for structures>

@Shanith: Yes, all the wombat buildings are very laggy because they are highly detailed meshes. I recommend that you not use too many of them in your map and if you have high lag issues then I would avoid using more than one or two on any given map. Its nothing I can fix since those were wombat meshes.

@Darkmoon: yea, unfortunately I am using a free photobucket account and if the pics get viewed ALLOT it exceeds my free bandwidth and they turn off all the pics and replace it with that. Hence I am transferring <slowly> my pics to DA. The process will probably be slow and the photobucket shots wont return until the 16th of this month. I am trying to get the newer sets of mine on DA first which is why a few images are back.

@Shenzai: You may have to enter them manually. If your not sure how to do that there is a great Object Maker tutorial, let me know if you need the link.

ah that's an easy fix. If you look at the box where you enter your texture for the mesh you will see a little arrow       >     
it should be just above the right end of the box and have a number 1. just click the arrow and it will go to texture 2 and 3 just enter in the texture for each one.

Feel free to re-texture, the Wombat meshes aren't really mine in the first place, those ones come from the free site.

Edit: and yes, you can put any of the items into your own object groups. It makes things much easier.

Hello, I've recently downloaded a few of your meshes work (brilliant work btw) and all of them work perfectly except the bloodstain :/

I have placed the png file into Textures and have placed the OBJECT file in with the objects but it wouldn't work so I copied them into My_objects but it still isnt working, it comes up and recognises it in object maker but the picture comes up as white, could you help me please?

@Wolfgang: Strange, did it come with a material? It should have a material file in there. If so, put that in your my_objects with the png and see if it comes up then. If not, try manually loading the texture <should be called Blood> If that doesn't work there may be something missing, either the ground_pallisade.mesh or the Material, please let me know.

@ingredient: Certainly! They are wombat meshes and all the materials are from there also, do have fun playing with the materials, they are actually very nice and I like to use rezpawood on different 'human' things :)

@Blissy: It shouldn't move if that is what isn't 'working' about it, it is frozen so it should basically just look like icicles. If you want moving water under it, just place the frozen waterfall over a regular one for a spiffy effect.

@Wolf: Hummm, which materials are you having trouble with? Make sure your getting the material name right as well, they are case sensitive.

I'm having trouble with the human weapons, like the axes and stuff... And yea I typed the names right and stuff... This has happen to me before, but I just ignored it and didn't use the meshes.

Need more info, what did you type in? The name of the material doesn't always match the mesh name. I try to do that when I make my own stuff but the converted stuff often uses the same image. For the tools/weapons they use the exact same mat but for those there are two different possible versions. If you want the nice ones, you would use Toolhandle and Toolhead. If you want them more aged or rusted you would use Toolhandle2 and Toolhead2.

Yes, the meshes are really nice. But there is one situation. The one with fantastic moss, and shrubs, the link doesn't work any more. It is saying, "Invalid or Deleted file." Can you upload the meshes again?

@Linnea: The monster skeleton actually comes with the wombat rocks set. First page, bottom of third post. Just download the rock pack and follow the instructions. If all you want is the monster skeleton then just look for the mesh and image for it and place those along with the material files in your My-Objects folder.

@Sebastian: Hum, the tower should be in the object file that I added later and its just the tower one not 'broken tower' as I said that one was the same anyway. The material for it is called -  rezpamasonry - If you also have the floors I built into the tower then their material is called - rezpastainedwall - Those should be in the files with everything else so they should pop right up for you. Let me know if you have any other issues.

I have a question about the temple in the wombat buildings pack. Is there a material for it, because I popped the sucker up in object maker and it's BaseWhite. Like, is there a temple material or do I just use rockMat?

@Happygirl: Yes, it comes with a texture and the names are: Temple, Temple2, Temple3. Just enter those in that order in the material boxes and it should come up to look just like this:

I have everything in my_objects, and I pulled up the temple in object maker, typed "Temple" in the material box, and it said, "Temple cannot be found!". I feel like such a noob :(

@Happygirl: That's odd....hmm...well to double check to see if you even have the materials in your folder, go to FeralHeart>Media>Objects>My_Objects and search for 'temple'. You should have all three of them pop up. If they are not there, please let me know. I can bundle them up for you and send them to you. If they are there, try making sure you type Temple in the material box with a capital T as often things are case sensitive especially with materials. Do not put things like .mesh, .particle, .material behind it. It should work with just Temple and that's it. If you try that and it still doesn't work and you have them in your objects then it could very well be that something is wrong with your .material file itself. If that is the case it is easily fixed, I can get you a material file sent as well. Let me know!

@Bloo: It shouldn't have any objects as you already have them in game. what it should have is a .object file that you need to put in FeralHeart>Media>Objects and then open up your game and find it in Object Maker. There you can transfer the objects into your own folders if needed.

Kaylee: I do enjoy Zelda but I believe there are already Zelda things out there somewhere in the community that include chests and such. I am not sure where they are but you might check Jayfeathers stuff, and Gailous stuff, both of them have some Zelda or Zeldaish items. I make original items, not so much items you find in other games.

Can anyone help me? I downloaded Glave's converted willow tree and discovered I liked the original leaf texture over her realistic one. But, the texture of the whole tree turns base white sometimes. And sometimes it's textured again! I think it's a glitch, so can anyone provide me the link to the original willow tree or tell me how to fix this problem?

Shanith: LOL well, I have loads of new particles to work on but as for Meshes I think I am going to start releasing my city stuff since my city map has gone into a bit of a stall. I have been so busy, but I will try to start releasing them very soon!

Winter Venn: Try deleting my willow Texture and the .material file that goes with it. Its probably having an issue figuring out which one to put on there if you left it sitting in the My_Objects folder.

Happygirl: DOH!!!!! Alright, I figured out what the issue is, the .material file for the temple is not in the wombatbuildings material file where it should be....so for temporary sake till I get the main one fixed, here is a link to download the material file for the temple. Just copy it to your my_objects folder and it should work wonders!

Grosskatze: I haven't really gotten into making items at all, if you wish to do it yourself that is perfectly fine by me. They were requested by loads of people to be meshes since I assume they are to decorate homes and such. Anyway, glad to know my meshes are helping you out :)

Schae: Your the first to even say anything about them. I had the feeling nobody was really interested in them, I will see what I can do about getting them bundled and posted either today or tomorrow.

When I try adding some of the sea stuff and snow stuff, the game crashes. I go into object maker and for the snow stuff + sea stuff it says there are some meshes and materials missing. Missing files: falls.mesh, "Cannot find material for GLSnowItems", grassPatch.mesh, "Cannot find material for GLSeaStuff" Is there anywhere else I can find these files?
I fixed the falls.mesh and grassPatch.mesh problems but I still get the "Cannot find material for GLSnowItems + GLSeaStuff" errors.
Fixed this problem, some of the materials for the meshes were missing.

Glave: Most of them had Base White for the material and I just had to change the material.  I think the only material file I had to make myself was for the Pearl. Everything else had the material file. I love the meshes!

ALERT: So there is this issue with Adfly messing with the downloads. There isn't a way around this currently as Mediafire isn't blocking the adfly adverts. This is an issue I understand, so try copy pasting the link in a window instead. It seems to work for me, taking me directly to the mediafire link instead of directing me to the adfly first. Not sure why its suddenly becoming an issue, but try this out and see if it works. If not, try it this way <more info here:>

After checking my own copies of the files the material should be called 'bloodstain' <no capitols> Check and see if that works. If not, you may be missing the material file.

I re-downloaded the bloodstain but it still is the same, the material file is in place and when I type bloodstain in it, it says there is no bloodstain.

I re-loaded bloodstain. It now has two of the other bloodstains I had done for ingredient in there as well as a convenient object file. The other two bloodstains have a weird whiteness around them and I will have to load the pictures sometime <you can find them on my DA page though, see link in signature>

I'm having trouble with the willow tree.

whenever I type in GLWillowLeaves.material, it won't work. Then I tried typing WillowLeaves like in the ReadMe. I thought I had it all solved, but it still doesn't work for some reason.

Make sure the .png and the .material files are in 'My_Objects' folder. Next, make sure that when you bring up the willow tree in your object maker that you click on the willow tree so its highlighted with a white box around it. Then you type in 'WillowLeaves' in the box. If you are making those checks and its not working then let me know. A screenshot will help me determine what the issue is.

Glave, I downloaded the GLCityItems.zip. I read the 'Read ME', there is a file called 'Wooden Fence' and when I try to add it to the 'My objects folor' a window comes up that says 'Wooden fence could not be found'. Then, as I loged into FH object maker I noticed some meshes were wrong like the 3way lane is actually trash pile and many textures were messed up.

Dark: Hmm, I checked over the zip and everything seems to be in order. Its very possible that it is clashing with other items in your object files. For example, I had downloaded some other meshes from someone which had a 'sofa' in it. Now even thierry's sofas now become the same exact sofa. The issue lies in the nameing of the meshes. You may have to head in there and change some names around. Easiest way to do this is to change all the object names in the file. You may also need to change the image names/texture names. If your not sure how to do that, I can get something together for you, just let me know!

CrossKatze: I use Blender. Its a free 3D object builder. There is a tutorial by Hamilton in the tutorial forum that helps to explain what extra programs you need for converting with blender.

Did you export your map after using the particles? If you did, you need to delete the duplicated ones. <the ones with _0 or _1 behind their names in the particles folder> This happens with allot of particles that are made for the game for some strange reason, but its easily dealt with.

Hey Glave. :3 I have a question..

When I load the Cathedral in the mesh box it is all white. o3o I'm confused because it comes with a texture but even if I try and manually apply it it says that is isn't found.

I am inlove with the crystals. xD But whenever I try to do the material files for any of them, for example 'RubyGem' it tells me 'RubyGem is not found!' >< Have I done something wrong?

Glave, I can help you out a tad.

@Emerald.Dreams: It doesn't have a texture, I don't think. It looks nce in rockMat and rezpamasonry, why don't you try that?
@Tommy: I will probably make a bridge pack, eventually. But Eglify and Tetsu have some great bridges!
@BlueyiPro: You might have to texture them yourself. What mesh is troubling you?
@Minxy: I have the same problem. Oh well, maybe a glitch inthe .material file?

Thanks for all the praise everyone! I want to let you know I haven't been on here in a long time so I apologize for not getting to your questions more quickly. I am on Deviantart far more than here so if you still have questions unanswered please visit my DA page and let me know what you need. I have been working on my Halloween map so I can get it released and finally release all the new particles and meshes I used on it.

Thanks to all those who were helping answer questions. Please please make sure your following directions on the notes for these and if you have problems also make sure to check the mesh/particle tutorials in the tutorial forum, they are quite helpful in pointing out exactly how to do everything far better than I can explain it.

You are missing the hay texture. When you downloaded it, was there a .png or .jpng, or .jpg? (picture img)

Hey this thread is old, but I figured I'd still add if anyone is looking for a quick stress-free solution to the broken temple and broken palisade. This obviously isn't ideal because the textures look strange/stretched but the temple and ruined palisade/wall materials don't work. I don't have any program or coding skills that would allow me to fix it, so this is a good alternative if you still want to use them. I would experiment with material 1 on the temple because I just settled for a stretched cobblestone texture since the correct cobblestone material isn't working.

For the temple:
Material 1 - ossyjaoldcobblestone
Material 2 - rezpastainedwall
Material 3 - rezpacollumn

For the ruins, or the 'Stone Palisade'
rezpastainedwall for the entire thing.
The mesh is broken so if you try to use different materials it switches around where the materials are in the material order, save yourself some stress and just use one material throughout for this one!

I have no experience with coding or 3D formatting, but hopefully for anyone who still wants to use these and doesn't want to go through a difficult process to fix them, these are an alright alternative.
