Well, I don't bring it up. No one knows about my fursona (only two close friends), no one knows about me derping on the forums. Oh! All of this art of Ahkrin that was made by other people? Nope. Don't know that either. My school friends have no idea what fun life I have with FeralHeart :D
If someone were to call me Ahkrin or Starry in real life, say, shout it out in the hall way at school, I'd respond. Although, it would take a second to take in what just happened. I'd probably get creeped out knowing that someone know my fursona's name. Just slowly walk away for now. Save the difficult questions for later... yeah..

I do actually. Rarely does anyone generally know about my involvement with the game or the forums itself. However there are a few who know about my character, Vespian, merely because I tend to sketch he and other monstrous creatures quite a lot in my spare time. Thus I do encounter that question of "Who's Vespian?" from time to time by those who views my artwork. Otherwise, my little virtual life I got goin' here is nothin' more but hushed for the most part.
Would you respond if someone called you by your fursona's name in real life?
If I were to hear the unusual name of Vespian ring across the hallway or courtyard, I'd most likely respond in a hesitant manner via turning' my head slightly over my shoulder to see if the caller is talkin' to me or someone else. Then it'd be an internal decision to either walk away in utter bafflement or convey with the individual like it was nothin' more than a nickname.

Yes i generally do since the majority of my friends i know in real life have no idea what Feral Heart is or about my involvement with the forums as well. I guess in the College life, not much would play this game since it is geared to a more younger crowd.

1.) Kind of yes. Only my best friend knows because I play it at her house... It's just not something kids play in my school so what's the point... I'm sixteen and all my friends have Xbox Live and are playing cooler games like Halo and Resident Evil online, I wish I could. *Shrugs*
2.) Erm, maybe. Back in middle school my (now ex) best friend used to call me Sheka, or my warrior cat name (At the time I was really into that) but now if someone called me Sheka or Refugee or just Ref I'd be confused. I'd ask, "Do you stalk me online??" Since my deviantART happens to be Refugee97 haha so maybe!

@Vespian: Same thing happens to myself when drawing Ahkrin. "Who's Ahkrin?" "Who's Starry?" -sighs-. It would take a month to explain. Something that I'm not up to.
@LordSura: I can relate. If my friends saw some of "~Stargazer~"'s posts I know they would be shocked if they knew it was me. I'm so different in the Feral Community than I am in reality. Two utterly different personalities. One person. FeralHeart was where I discovered myself. Where I could open up to others who were like me. I'm so grateful.

1.) Yes I do. Only a few good friends and family know about my FH life and we keep it a secret. There are some people who really don't need to know about it. If some of my other friends and aquaintences were to find out about it, they probably wouldn't treat me the same...
2.) I don't really have a fursona, just a bunch of roleplay characters that have different personalities and characteristics. But if someone were to call me by one of those character names, I would be surprised but wouldn't respond.

1. Nobody knows- besides, they don't really need to know. What I do is what I do and my friends don't question it at all.

Now that you mention it, I do indeed. I don't talk about FeralHearts in reality because no one I know in real life is interested in my type of games. They're more into The Sims or other games quite like that. To be honest, what I play isn't exactly any of their business.

Yea, I'm not going to lie with this. I probably would. I've done it a few times before since I used to have my Skype name as "Buffy" on my old account which I had my friends added on. It was quite interesting actually, eventually teachers started calling me it too without approval. It's quite nice being called my fursona name in real life.

Mostly no.
My closest friends know quite a bit about FeralHeart, and my roommate at school is also familiar with my involvement with it (since she sees me playing on the game or working on the forums all the time xD). So, if you spend enough time around me, chances are you'll know a thing or two about FH.
While none of my real-life friends play FH regularly anymore, I wouldn't have a problem if they came back. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, so if they see some different sides of me, sometimes that's alright. I love to share my artistic sides, but usually it takes them to come to me (or where I spend time) to express or show it to them.
Not to say I go around flaunting FH around, though. xD Only if asked will I bring it up... Tentatively.
However, my fursonas, Allegra and Linger, are a different story. Generally I refer to them as "my avatars" to those who don't understand the furry-like community we have, where a fursona is very special and unique to each individual on varying levels. It's easier to say they're my "face" in a community, but they go much deeper than that. I will generally only open up to others about what Allegra and Linger mean to me, if the one asking has a fursona of their own (or if for some reason they just have a genuine interest). Those with fursonas are more apt to understand the connection you have with your characters, in my eyes.

If someone called out the name Allegra or Linger in real life, I know I'd turn around and look with surprise. xD I actually have a coworker in real life whose name is "Ally," and so every time I hear someone call her, I can't help but double-take, before remembering that no one there knows I also go by Allegra or Alley. Or Linger. Or White. (Fricking names I just kshaknjbsh).

I, in fact, do keep FeralHeart a secret but not because I am ashamed, because I don't want my person identity in FeralHeart to be revealed. No one in Real Life knows I play FeralHeart besides my family and one close friend of mine. Besides that, it's all secrets.

I really don't care if people know I play games like this MMO or minecraft, legend of Zelda etc. etc.
But my friends probably would -that is if they played games like me- at the current moment if someone walked up to me and called me a nerdy game playing weirdo I would respond probably like: "Thanks! So much better then glorifying over my phone tweeting pictures of my sandwich!" :3

If you include my siblings 'der, nope. I've had someone who I'd consider sort of a friend and another adult I know in real life watch me play Feralheart a bit, too, so I would tell someone if they asked or was watching me. Unless I didn't want them to know 'bout it for some reason. xD

Personally, I have told a few close friends about Feral Heart. I have one friend who I convinced to get the game, but she refuses to listen to my teachings of Feral Heart. My family knows I spend most of my time on Feral Heart, but they don't really take the time to let me explain it to them. Sometimes I feel like if I go into detial about how cool everyone is, and what I do on there I feel like I'm boring them. So I wouldn't say I keep it a secret, but I don't really talk about it unless someone brings it up. My favorite thing is when someone is genuinely interested in it.

If someone, whom I am not familiar with in my personal life, yelled out "Vask." I would probably spin around really fast looking pretty confused. If I was at like a store or something I'd turn my head to see if someone was directing their words at me(but Vask is a pretty uncommon name but IDK). If they were I'd wonder how the heck they know what I look like. My first thought would be someone from Feral Heart that I know pretty well. But, yes, I would definitely respond.

No one cares about roleplay that I know but one friend.
If someone said CharChar I would just think they are messing around and talking about the pokemon, Charmander which can only say CharChar. I think it would be kind of weird they know my Fursona's name because that means they are stalking me....
If someone called me Rusty I would respond but I would ask them how they know about my username.

Because I mainly make videos through FH, for family and friends, they know all about it. They know about my writing through roleplays but they mainly know I'm big on making videos. They aren't even bothered by it. Actually, they're impressed which makes me smile cuz I feel accomplished. I actually got 2 friends into FH. But my friends don't really know what its about really. Everyone else just knows it as a 3d chat/game where you're either a cat or a dog.

I'm always referred to as Tangle so any word related to it just makes me think of me. So if someone was to call out Tangle, my head would definitely turn lol.

1) I do, and I don't. None of my friends or acquaintances play Feral Heart or are interested in it. My family /well, my mother and my sister/ know about my 'life' in Feral Heart, but they don't really care and my sis always does 'facepalm' when I'm trying to share something from FH with her. B| I've told my best friends about my addiction, I've tried to get them playing Feral Heart as well, but they don't have the patience to learn roleplaying /none of my friends knows what roleplaying actually is/ and they give up on it. I'm lucky to have one of my best friends to be a girl from Latvia who is also addicted to FH, and she's the only close friend of mine who I could roleplay and talk about Feral Heart with. I'm tending to share the awesomeness of Feral Heart with many people, but none of them is interested, so I guess I'mma be the only person in my city /or even country?/ who plays Feral Heart. At least I have you, guys. <3
2) Same as Lady Alizarin, I don't really have fursonas, just a few favorite characters who I mostly roleplay as. But oh well, I'd be amazed if someone IRL refers to me as any of those characters' names. I would most likely immediately turn my head in direction of the voice and be like: "Wut?" :D But yeah, I guess I'd response to the person if they really called me using this name.

None of my real life friends, besides one who is also on FeralHeart, knows about my FeralHeart life xD It's just not something I feel like sharing with my friends, people at college, family members etc. Not that I'm ashamed it, I just don't feel as though they'll understand since they're not into this kind of stuff. We all need to keep some things about ourselves and our lives private, and FeralHeart is that thing for me. It's a method to escape from the harshness, drama and annoying shizzle of reality for a while, so the less people that know the better I think.
Two of my real life friends know of the name 'Doctor Flob', so I wouldn't be too surprised if they called me by that name. (We did come up with together) I'd just be a little confused and surprised that they decided to use that name over my real names, but of course I would respond. However, if a complete stranger or someone who I wouldn't expect to know that name, I would be shocked and a little scared and probably walk away pretending I have no idea what they're talking about. xD

1) Aside from three friends of mine, (only one of which has FH right now, another wants it and is trying to get an account, and the third isn't allowed to download stuff) FeralHeart is my secret.
2) If someone (aside from the one friend above who plays FH) were to call be either Scorch, Paradox, or Eclissi, I'd be pretty dang shocked. But if they were to call me by Eclipsesong, then I wouldn't be as surprised, since she's a character I designed outside of FH and created. I'd be more surprised, however, if I didn't know them.

I like to keep my, more-or-less, second life on the internet private from most. Right now I only have 2 friends that know of/played Feralheart, one of them being the one who introduced me to Feralheart in the first place. c: But sadly they both lost interest in the game and moved on. Another friend knows of my second life on the internet but isn't aware that I go on Feralheart but either way she's fine with it cause she has her own second life on the internet so she pretty much understands. xD As for my family, they know I play a game called Feralheart but don't really know that much about what it is and what I do on it other than that is it an animal game.
As for someone calling me my fursona's name.. The one friend that introduced me to FH saw me on my fursona once in-game and the next day in school kept calling me by my fursona's name xD Got a bunch of weird looks from my friends. And if anyone I know that didn't play FH (or at least, not that I was aware of) did then I'd be pretty freaked out on how they knew..

No one knows I even RP.
I'm not ashamed of my connection with FeralHeart, but then again I've never been able to tell my friends in reality about it. I don't know if they'd understand.
I think it's the allure of being somewhere where nobody has to know who you are, your faults and weaknesses. The truth may be a bit harsh, but you CAN escape the people on the internet - just close a tab. You can't avoid people in your real world.

I think It's not a secret, I talk sometimes with my friends about FH (for example when I made my first preset and I was extremly happy), but usually they don't seem to be interested. They just don't know this game. And my family reacts quite similar to my friends, exept my Mama. She likes watching me playing. She finds this game full of colorful, happy and awesome things x3

I'd say this is a bit of a complex matter, but in general yes, FeralHeart is a secret which probably just two of my friends really know about or what it actually is I spend time on and I'd say it's for the better this way. It's a good subject for a thread without a question.
Back when I was still in school it wasn't necessarily a subject that would gain you any respect or "man" points along with the other guys so it was easier to just let it be a silent hobby, I honestly don't think anyone really comprehend or understand why to spend so much time on the computer in general, neither do I know if it's something that could be explained or if it was for the better. I believe it's just seen like the average computer geeking from the outside, many questions has flew by of what I really spend time on the computer though.
Due to personal history online, or even experiences I've been through in places like Feralheart I've come to realize that some things just stay better if they remain separate. I simply do not use the computer nor internet as an extension to what is already taking place in the so called "Real life", the computer and internet is so much more. It's my safe haven and a completely different world to relax or escape to, in general the internet itself can include many different lifes if you have the time for it or simply want to use it in this way. I cannot say everyone does this in a good manner but you have the choice. I don't see any point in going around and letting everyone in on who you are, what you are doing or trying to do. If I'm going to be completely honest, I tend to wear my heart on my sleeves a bit more here regarding certain matters, but people can get to know me from the inside first which is also how I wish to know others. There's a lot of fake people out on the internet too though so don't get me wrong.
In the end, those that really could make the transition between me online here with four paws, and me out there in the world are people I really trust and wish to hold close. This shouldn't include people that would drama over you regarding tiny matters, try to put a knife in your back or use you. It should be friends or contacts that can understand each other and be supportive, and as time has proven before, it will show sooner or later, trust me on this.

Not quite sure, but I'd go with "No", and rather react and wonder where it came from and if it truly was directed at me. Friends, yes. Randomer never seen before, most likely not.

1: Not really. My friends know about it they just don't play these kinds of games and don't care enough to bother with it and snoop in my business.
2: Definitely. Well not my sona's name, but the name everyone calls me in the game no matter what character I'm on, which is Inu (because the two main usernames I use are inuyasha1086 and InuLong which can both be shortened to Inu). I know because I Skype with some of my friends here (strictly voice call only) and they always call me Inu so I'm used to responding that. I would even be perfectly fine if people I know irl started calling me by that name. If someone I didn't know called me by that name... well I would respond but be defensive until I knew why they were using it and how they knew I went by that name.

Not at all lol. I tell anyone who I want to try and keep in touch with or someone that likes animals, I may get a funny look here or there but hey, I like the game and I thought they would too. But most people don't play anything that doesn't have an objective to it. :(

I would whirl around and if they were talking to me I would probably freak out (happily) and ask them what their username was. It would probably never hit me that this person knows my real name, if they did, or if they just based it off of what I describe on here.

Is it a secret?
- Yes and no. I'll only tell certain people that have common interests in that realm of gaming. But it just happens that a lot of my friends are more of console gamers desiring more of the action packed titles compared to a social game. As for my role plays and things of that nature.... ABSOLUTELY! It may be just me but i feel awkward talking about rps with people not involved in it, especially those that don't rp at all. Though if someone asked me if i played it i would probably answer truthfully.

Like i said above, i only tell people that have the same interests about feral heart and if someone said that i would most likely become nervous as hell and honestly a bit embarrassed. Yep, total secret. First of all, I only have like 3 friends in real life. :-\ Second, they don't play FeralHeart (they still play some video games but overall they lean to the 'hipster' side? I guess that's how I say it??). I've also been made fun of for being a lifeless, anti-social furry so I basically decided to act like a more generic, normal person in real life haha. Just kidding I still act like a nerd but I don't talk about FeralHeart for the most of times.
If I was at my old school however, I would have talked about FeralHeart quite often. The kids there are really nice and they care. :D

I tend to keep it a secret from my friends in real life, I don't need people fussing over my way of spending my free time, to be honest its not really any of their business. Since I spend quite a lot of time on the forums and sometimes linger inside the game, I view Feral Heart as a huge secret which no one figured out yet.
I don't really think that my friends are into these types of games so I steer clear of such conversations, but yes I would be a little freaked out if someone called me by my fursona's name, or if I found out that someone I know in real-life plays this game too.

Is FeralHeart my secret? Mostly, yes. Only my boyfriend and bestfriend know what FH is, but my parents only know that it's the game that helped me improve my English skills. They don't need to know more.

Honestly, no one really know my Fursona's name anymore, for I rebooted my fursona to match it with my dA account. I would be hyped if someone shouted "Heulog!" or "Fallen!" in English, of course, because I am French Canadian deep in the Quebec province. Oh, if only. A couple years ago I showed a few of my best friends the game, made an account for them. They seemed to enjoy it but then they were quickly bored of it.
When I joined my new high school my mum and I were invited over by one of the teachers for a BBQ and to get to know his daughter, who was in my year. Mum mentioned Feralheart and explained it as "you have a little lion and you make worlds for it to play in". I immediately felt embarrassed and said I used to play it... "You still play it," says my sister Dx
I got a couple of weird looks, that subject just made everything awkward. I wouldn't consider myself "too old" for Feralheart but I suppose the majority of people I know would think so. I don't have any friends in real life that play or have played roleplaying animal games, such as Feralheart, so nowadays it's a secret, yes.

Yes. I hardly ever tell others about what I play, when actually nobody knows everything about it. My friends have seen the icon on my desktop and asked what it was, and I just answered that it's a game.

Yes, I would. Jackie is a different way of just spelling my real name, so yes, I would.
Although I would respond to Jackie, I wouldn't want to respond to Kash. She is my 2nd fursona, and I don't want to be known as Kash in my personal life. The internet stays as the internet, and real life stays away from it.

Yes and NO. My brothers know I play, but thats about it since I don't play FH when we have company. My best friend has seen me play, yet I think she forgot xD. Well, to be honest, yes. But I figure that as a mistake. I usually tend to keep my real self to the internet. Which for me, mostly consists of FeralHeart. Two of my real life friends have the game and I sort of try to hide myself/my internet friends from them because.. yea. Idk. As for other real life people, they've probably all seen my YouTube videos, but none of them really know my ties within the game.

Since my main fursona is Fio (avatar picture), I would respond since that is my real name. Fiona. Or Fio if you know me better or from the internet. My initial reaction would either be "it's a friend" or "OMG INTERNET FRIEND IS THAT YOU????"... ;~;
But if someone called me Frost/Frost Night, I would be fairly confused if I heard it at all and I would probably just keep walking.

Actually, I have told my close friends and brothers about this game. My youngest brother has an account on here even, but he rarely plays. I remember another time I got my friend to try out this game, and when she selected the elbow tuft on the character creator she was like; "Wtf is that armpit hair?" LOL

Friends? Well, yeah. I used to have a few freinds that'd all play games like this togeathor, but that was around 5 years ago so no. Although I do play with my sister, so at the same time I don't? Most of my friends have seen my characters, though, because I mean you can only draw them so many times before somone looks at your submissions for art class.
And I don't have one, but if someone refered to me as one of my RP characters I'd be kind of disturbed and ask them where they got the name, but yeah, I used to do the warrior cat name things with my freinds as a kid too, so it wouldn't be the first time.

It's probably better that I do... As much as I love my friends, they're not the kind of people you'd want running around the maps...

I actually encourage my other teenage friends to join and RP with me xD I know from their persepctive it might be totally lame, I mean in comparison to going out and drinking and what-not. But I've stopped now, since I'm afraid that a few of my friends would break the rules if they joined and possibly get me banned in the process. Some of my friends and my Therapist actually know about Feral Heart, I don't really like to tell people because of how taboo being a furry is in the first place; so telling them I play a game that revolves around animals such as a canine and feline, it's kind of awkward explaining it to them. Like others have said, I guess I would consider FH my secret. The reason being, no one I know has the same interest in games like such. They'd rather play FPS on Xbox and things like that.
About 2 years ago, though, I did show my friends the game and was open about it. Heck yes. I love my two best friends, but they're not the kind of people that would understand what I do on FH and why. Really, I don't think my parents would even understand the concept of roleplaying, even if I explained to them that I simply love writing and this is the best way to improvise and try new things with my techniques. Only one person - one of my cousins - knows what I do, and that's because she's the one who introduced me to games like this.

Well, I've actually tried to get my best friend into the game. She said it was "boring" at first. Then a while later I showed her some of the role play I do and she wanted to try it out. Yes, a million times yes. I hardly like to accept it myself that I have a feral side of me. I used to get called a 'furry' back when i was a freshman. I hever had an anthropomorphic form though. However I've always had some kind of beast form since I was in the 5th grade. I'm a Senior in high school now. It's an embarrassment to me. I live in a the 'status quo' kind of society. I never was one to w a n t to be the weird outcast kid. And getting out of that scene was the best thing that happened to me. I'm not about to go back because I want to embrace my extra weirdness. I'm okay with keeping it to myself. It's a private thing. It's not that big of a part of me, either. If anything, what it is is what would be my dream reincarnation. Currently it's a wyvern. The appeal is being able to take all terrains, it seems like it would be so free. I mean I know it's impossible but, I can dream.

I don't actually 'ave a fursona. I made a red fox fursuit after a character I made named Red Rose, but I don't associate myself with her as an identity. And although I normally roleplay as Enoki, I'd definitely not consider him a fursona of any sort; main reason being he's a male and I'm certainly not. Yes and no. I have a couple distant friends who know vaguely what it is but either don't have an interest or can't play it. Only one of my closer friends is completely familiar with it and has a account, but she doesn't play much anymore. We still regularly have conversations about our characters, which is always enjoyable. I've also told my mum a bit about it, my dad on the other hand doesn't have a clue.

That same close friend that I mentioned before actually occasionally refers to me as "Kov", which is short for "Kovikgar", a name associated with one of my fursona's names (Boogie). She only calls me that via Skype and Kik though, but she's still an irl friend so I guess she still counts. People know he and my other fursona exist, though, since she draws them in class for me sometimes, as do I... except I just refer to them as "the characters I write about sometimes", haha. Anyways, no one else calls me that irl and I'd like to keep it that way. As for Scrague, my other 'sona, no one irl calls me that either and I would also like it to remain as such. It's not to say that I don't identify as the two of them in a sense, it's just that I would get embarrassed if people in real life start calling me by those names without actually knowing the true meaning behind it all and end up just assuming that I'm one of those "gross furry people".

Mostly. I have had one or two friends who have coincidentally seen me play it. One I used to be friends with made an account because she liked playing MMORPGs, but left when she found out there wasn't a battling system or whatever. Other than that, my parents know I play it but I keep it secret from anyone else. I think I would be looked at very differently if some of my friends found out I've spent 4 years of my life pretending to be a wolf on the internet.

Not really, my fursona's name is somewhat common. If I heard it I would probably pause for a second but would brush it off as someone calling their friend.

Nope, there's no real reason for me to keep it a secret. I just don't bother mentioning FH because it's not a primary part of my daily routines and there's little to talk about with my acquaintances, my business is mainly drawing, music, and fictions. I'd probably only talk about Feral Heart if someone mentions it.

I don't really have a fursona, but characters like Telluris and Aclediptus have become my alias for quite a while. It's very far from my nickname irl, but even that is far from my real name. But I would respond if someone calls for Telly or Cled.

That depends on where I met them. If they're used to online communities like these, or are just generally more accepting of these kind of communities, then sure! If they're someone offline who don't have much exposure, I'd rather keep this site, various art/furry sites a secret. Same goes for things regarding my sexuality, and other things that may make me uncomfortable to discuss face to face. I find it easier to talk about those kind of things over text, and to someone who is potentially more accepting of these interests

Nono, not unless I was in costume. I don't even like being called my username by those I am Skype/voice calling with! Please just call me Ross, not any other name if we are close, or voice/video calling

Coming from a small country town, yes. People here simply aren't into games like FeralHeart or roleplaying. Internet friends who I communicate to out of FH know. Only people like family and maybe family friends know I used to play FH in the past, however as I've become more 'socially aware' and fearful of judgement, I brush certain comments about the game off as me simply "being a child". It sucks, but hey, it's nobody's business what I do to escape reality anyway! The only people who know about my interests in roleplaying are my partner and internet buddies.

Honestly, no. Why hide something you love if it is harmless to you and others? If someone asks me something that I feel won't harm me or others. I answer honestly. So, yes. I tell my friends when they ask if I play it. It's a part of me and I feel I shouldn't hide it. Because, that wouldn't be me. I am who I am. So, it doesn't matter what others think I should be or what they think about what I like or am. I'm just going to be me.
As for the calling me by my fursona name?
Sure! Why not? I have many friends who calls me by my fursona name. If they want to then they can. It is just a name and again it is part of me. They are my fursona. Who I want to be and am already. If they call me by it, I respond. No harm in it. ^W^

I'll admit that I totally do this. It's not really that I'm, hmm, ashamed of it. It's just that I know that if I tell other people about it, they'll just poke fun at something that is actually quite dear to my heart, & I'm not a fan of that. Sometimes I'll show a friend or two art I've made of my characters or whatever, but it's rare that I ever tell anybody outside of Feralheart that I play this game. My friends just simply aren't into role-playing or animals. :P

Haha, heck yeah. I'd actually be excited, honestly. I love the names that my characters have. {Obviously! I pick them} Although I do like my name irl, I personally don't think it fits me all that well, so it would be a neat change.

A: To be honest, I don't really have that many friends in the first place. If they knew about the game and confronted me for it, I'd have no trouble saying I play it though. Otherwise, I don't really mention anything to them in our conversations. I've tried getting one friend to play it because she seemed like she would enjoy roleplay, but she outright refused as soon as she heard you had to make an account. (I guess she could be considered one of the more uptight ones, but a good friend and writing partner nonetheless). FeralHeart remains as one of my secrets, and I'm okay with that. Heck, even my family doesn't seem to really care. (My dad might've caught me playing a few times though).
Q: Would you respond if someone called your fursona's name in real life?
A: Well...I don't really have a set fursona. See, I just have too many OCs (Original Characters) to pick from. However, if someone did call out one my OC's names, I'd do that slowly turning around thing they do in horror movies; but my expression would be more of a mix of surprise and shock, and maybe a touch of curiosity. My OC names are quite unusual, since they have names with multiple words in them. For example:
-Black Rose of Deceiving Innocence (Black Rose for nickname)
-Merciless Spirit that Haunts for Eternity (Spirit for nickname)
-Silent Snowfall
-Lost Light
-Visions from Yonderland
-Ringer of Death's Call
You get the point, right? Let's be real for a second, if someone was to call out any of these names, I'm pretty sure anyone would have an incredulous look on their faces.

I don't necessarily keep FeralHeart a secret from friends in real life, it just doesn't tend to come up in conversation so I rarely ever talk about it. My group of friends aren't the animal/furry type so I just tend to not speak about it if the subject is about gaming. My family, however, know about it, they tend to walk past my room and see it on my screen while I'm drawing, the first few times they did ask what it was but after that they got used to me playing it. My Grandma is quite invested into what I like to do so she keeps track of what I draw and play, as I make presets quite often, she watches me make them and test them in game, apart from that no one really knows about it.

If it's one of my friends that don't play FeralHeart and don't use deviantArt then I most likely won't respond due to it being awkward, as they don't even know my fursona's name, but, if it's someone I met on FeralHeart and/or deviantArt and saw them in real life, I will most likely respond to Arreze/Aluze/Reg/Reggy, other than that I probably wont.

I wouldn't call it a secret, I just don't bring it up. My mom and few of my friends know that it exists, you play as a colourful animal in it and you can design your own worlds (I usually don't bother explaining what is a map and how it works, I just call it a world) and that's pretty much it.
I don't have a fursona, I usually play as Leon who is based on my cat. If someone called me Leon I would respond, but I would be a lil bit surprised that someone called me by my cat's name.

I do not keep it a secret from my firends and family, I mention it often and my bro has watched me play several times, questioning why I play a game that has no goals. They don't see it as a game though, which seems to be what keeps them from joining. They are the Action type, CoD and Halo and such and do not fully understand the concept of FH being role-play, they think of Skyrim when I say that word. I do not mention it outside of my small circle of friends though.
I've showed them the maps and presets I've made, they think "That's pretty cool." and my bro has even tried helping to come up with some cool ideas for them.
