'Allo again, floofs! I was looking at the Where Did You Get Your 'Sona Name topic, and I decided to make this one. So, where did you get your forum name and/or username?
As for myself, it came from a popular nickname. My real name is Elizabeth, thus everyone usually calls me Liz, but from Liz, arose Lizard as my new nickname (also because I'm a nature freak, love the color green and can make really creepy hissing noises). So anyway, I just added Twisted to it, and liked how it sounded. My forum name is my username, so same thing for that.

My in-game username, WolfQueen, came from my extreme love of wolves when I first joined 3 years ago.
The username I use now, jengatower, came from the game Jenga. It's a game I used to really like as a kid.

This pretty much sums it up. I obtained the username of Dishonored when the video game was first released or a little after that time. Back then, the game was a complete 'must have' thus I became a fan of it and decided to set it as my username.

I knew I wanted I wanted a FeralHeart account when my I watched my friend start playing it. When I created my username, it was completely random, first-thing-off-the-top-of-your-head thing. XD I love warrior cats, so I wanted it to be "cat relevant." Warriorstrike was the first thing I thought of. Same as my username.

Hmm..Back in the day I was a extremely active Impressive Title player. It was the time that the realistic and educational game 'Wolfquest' was very popular. And to me, Wolfquest was a very bad game to interact with others. So I found Impressive Title. My username was something like...Berrystruddle101 or something like that. I was extremely sad when Impressive Title was shut down and was very happy when I found out that this game 'FeralHeart' was going to be released soon. As the noob I was back then I made my account be...this Berrystruddle101 thingy...Ew that Username tho. Soon after about six months of playing FeralHeart I decided I wanted a new start on my Gamer Tag. So Berrymutt came out for my love of being a huge squish Berry and my love for Mutts and Mongrel like animals. My username has been used for everything and I use it as my own original Gamer Tag.

Well I came up with my forum username based on my fursona. The mantle came from the fact that the orange and yellow markings make it look like she's wearing a cloak or mantle. The jackal since her species is a jackal and there's also the fact that the name has a nice ring to it. My in-game username came from a character of mine whose name is Katana and was also a wolf so I just combined the two and I got my user.

Both my forum and in-game usernames are the same, CannibalSkream. The way I got my username is quite.. random. I am known to like screaming, one of my many favorite letters is k, and the cannibal part... I was in a period of time where Cannibals were like, AMAZING to me. Nevercanth is more or less a name I made up for a sort of short story-- creepy in atmosphere, but not a creepypasta. It's less terror and more... melancholy and regretful in tone. I've lost the word document for it after a full hard-drive wipe, but I still keep the name in mind. I love the sound of the name, it's based off the phrase 'never can', like you can't do something. I sorta feel that way sometimes, where I can't to anything at all, and I regret what I have done, so the name resonates as a sort of label for that feeling...
Rambling aside, that's the story behind Nevercanth.

How I got my game username (f456gh6):
So back in my prime while I was creepin' around, making my FH account, my little sister came in and started typing random things on the keyboard, I filled out my other info and wanted to make my username 'special' so I left to get some food and when I come back she must of pressed the 'Finish' button. So then I went on my email and checked and it had the fabulous username 'f456gh6' and it was scary because I remembered it like the back of my hand. ono

My user, ArctosAnima, is the same as my deviantart, which I created before this. Figured for starters, that it could easily connect my watchers there to here if any of them played, and vice versa.
Second, I squiggled around with the name by their Latin meanings.
Search the name in Google Translate and you'll get "Bear Soul". This is correct in the sense that "arctos" is part of the scientific name for brown bears. Soul is one of the meanings for "anima".
However, this is not the meaning. I did though use it a similar way. "Arctos" is also part of the scientific name for Arctic/polar wolves. "Anima" itself has many meanings including "soul", "spirit", "life", "breeze", and more.
So, to me, the name means Arctic Spirit or Arctic Soul.
I take this name from being an Arctic wolf therian, simply put.
My handle, Skye, is my nickname, as well as the name I use around online to represent myself instead of using my real name. When I draw myself in something, I draw what I consider to be my wolf self, and I refer to it as Skye only in that way. I don't actually name it. It's not a separate being. However, it just makes it easier to represent myself and interact online. Some people think of it/"her" as a fursona, and that's fine. I'm not totally comfortable saying I'm a therian because of the jerks out there who try to say I need mental help, despite being a functioning adult.
I do have an avatar in game of "Skye" and play as "her" often. It really is just me, but I enjoy using it for roleplays at times.

The story behind my in-game username is a little comical.
I know they say don't use your real first name in usernames but there are lots of people named Angela so...
Well, I created my account back when it was summer and the registration would open every morning at 9 AM Eastern time for ONE MINUTE.
So when I got to the username blank I was like 'well crap what do I do' so I mashed my first name and my favorite Pokemon together...
thus my username of 'angelatorchic' was born.

My forum name is based on one of my role models, who's first name started with "Kai". Since I love chocolate pudding, I added Pudding to the end.

Hazel was one of my favorite names at the time, but I was also thinking of "Angel" and the way I see angels: They got wings! Since I loved both things, I add xx to the front and end. xxhazelwingxx!

I have an OC named Jay and Jason.
Well, my name is Bluejay but I prefer mostly to be called Jay. So basically, Jay is my 'sona.
Jason on the other hand is my brother's 'sona because I have an older brother named Jason.

Their name "Kai" also comes from my role model and my name. Their last name, "Kazune" was basically something that came to mind because I couldn't think of a Japanese-sounding last name for them.
For Kazune KAI (the female, which is me XD), all I did was make the "Kai" part uppercase, as for her older brother has a lowercase Kai.

Hylocereus is a kind of cactus. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hylocereus_undatus) And "Cereus" by itself means "torch" (as in fire), which I thought was pretty cool because I'm utterly entranced by fire and love cacti. Then I figured out my favorite fruit - the dragonfruit - also came from the Hylocereus cactus. And THEN I saw how gorgeous the flowers were. As some may know, my name is XxInsaneAsylumxX in-game. Majority of my friends know me as either Azy or my actual name Stephanie.
Azy is what I prefer to be called mostly, and it originated from Asy, which is just a shortened version of Asylum, the name of my old as hoot OC that has undergone more changes than a Beverly Hills girl has gotten plastic surgery. I used to be called Asy, but one of my friends started to use a "z" instead of an "s", and it stuck, leading to Azykinz and Azykazilla later on.

Well, way back when I was just signing up I had recently watched the movie "Blade" (which was great, btw!) the movie about the vampire slayer. So my entire username is based off of that movie. Blade - title of the movie, Dawns - referencing to a certain emotional scene from the movie. It was one of those top-of-the-head thoughts and I had no other ideas so that's what I went with. x'D

My username came from a glitch in another game where trees could be flung into orbit, FlyingTrees was created. FlyingGrass was the result of my forgetfulness as I didn't activate FlyingTrees, I had two accounts after activating FlyingTrees, but I wondered what username I want to keep. On my return, the login window chose the name FlyingGrass for me, FlyingTrees wouldn't log in.

My friend actually gave me my 'new' username, Arreze. I don't think I'll be changing it anytime soon as I feel a lot more comfortable with it than my past usernames, SammyTheCorgi and Regularities, and a few others, to be honest, I cringe looking at them.
I'm not really sure what Arreze actually means as it's sort of a foreign word from my friend's native language, but she gave me a little insight and said it related to snowstorm or cold. I don't really see myself as a cold-hearted or mean person, but I like snow and winter so I guess it suits, my main character is also white, so that's another factor.

Where did I get my username? Well, I really liked the short form of the name Valerie and I wanted my new username to start with Val.
Being a Hayes Grier (an american internet personality) fan, I loved the name and decided to combine it with various suffixes.
I thought "Val" fitted "Hayes" and that's how I came up with Valhayes.

I just was quickly coming up with a different username, and I ended up just taking the name of a random mineral (kovdorskite), removing the front part, and adding a t (since a lot of my character names and usernames started with a t). I wasn't really initially planning much with it, but I began to really like the username and it was fairly unique so now I go by it on pretty much all other websites.
