SO MUCH AGREE. This would help limit the amount of registration related threads and rumors significantly. I approves of this topic. :3

This suggestion has been taken into account and put into the works.

The general problem as always with leaving stickies in many places is that we need to find the most suiting place for such, in many cases even if a sticky is placed in a related board it's still too far out of reach(too many clicks away) so the most users will actually read it, so a thing like help section, or game discussion might not be very good places.

However there's a more or less permanent thread posted in the Official rules and information board for now, pointing out the most important information regarding the current registration system that not only staff but you the community members can direct users towards if the need would arise, whether it's within a help thread, in the game or outside on other sites. There's also some quick plans on throwing out a link on the home page of this very site since that's where most users wanting to register actually looks and it would improve the overload of "When does registration open?" questions everyone might see.
