Title: Lung's guide to the perfect cat!
Post by: Echoing harmony on January 23, 2016, 12:32:46 am
Heyo Floofs, I've seen many cat roleplayers, but you know what makes me most mad?
No one goes for actual cat breeds and such, there are plenty of breeds that need some loving, so time to stray away from that 'gothic' feel and move on to being...A literal cat.

Cat Misconceptions

-Tortoiseshell describes a cat coat colouring found almost exclusively in females, so-called because of the similarity to tortoiseshell material. Male tortoiseshells appear only rarely. Same goes to Calico and Torby.

-Not all cats have markings.

-Purple is not an actual eye color.

What people forget about cats
Cats are solitary animals, they won't get along with other carts right away.

Female cats are called a 'molly'

Some cat breeds were meant for swimming.

Green and Blue are the most common eye colors.

Cat breeds have different personalities.

Meet the uncommon breeds/u]

Turkish Angora- Swimmers, Moderate sized fur, have different colored eyes most of the time.
Their pelt is mainly white and should always be dominantly white, though they can come in tabby coats (Mainly Blonde and Grey), as long as calico patterns. Despite it's pelt, they don't shed much, they aren't friendly towards other animals however.

Birman- They have a soft fluffy pelt but don't shed. Their pelts types are Blue Point, Mud Point, Seal Point and Red Point. They are easy to be mistaken by Himalayas and Ragdoll cats, they all share a similar pelt coloration. But always remember, Himalayas have a flat face and Ragdolls normally have a blaze on their face. Aside from that Birmans can adapt very well to different environments and can handle other animals.
