So i couldnt find any topic relating it so hopefully non alrdy posted *ready to facepalm* But i have a problem with Pming on the site. When someone sends me a pm i never seem to get it. Like i had someone pm me to give me a web address for a custom weather and i never seemed to get the pm. ive heard of others not getting pms. I can private message others(hopefully it worked once so i beleive it works) So is it me that is having a problem or someone else? Its just a lil annoying cuz i dont want ppl thinking im ignoring them or if im waiting on a response to something and they dont realize im not getting there message. Thanks :)

I have the same issue. I can't get PM's but I can send them. Or at least, that's what I thought.
As it turns out, I opened my email, and there were a whole bunch of emails saying I had gotten PM's. So I opened them up and I can read them on my email. But if I click the link that says read the original message here or reply to the original message, whichever it is, I get sent to a page on the FH forum saying I can't reply to a PM that isn't mine or doesn't exist.

Yea see and with mine, i dont even get an email warning me, and its never been changed, its set on Always. So i dont understand why its not working for me :\

the site has a few bugs as well (for example the quoteing doesnt work for everyone), well lest hope they will fix it very soon.

I have this same problem aswell.
People say they have sent me PM's, but yet, they never show.
A bug in the forum, I guess.

It's because some users share the same username, and it gets sent to them instead of you. So yes, a bug on the forum at the moment. Hopefully it gets fixed though, as many people are affected by it. D:

what... how can ppl share the same username???
why did they let it happen????
i mean... its logical to not have ppl have the same username, so they can identity them fast....
I guess this should be looked into and not let ppl have the same username...
it should be changed as soon as possible...

I changed my username (Added the stars) a while ago, and I now receive all my PM's and such. The other Kyugima account was one that FH said didn't exist yet I could see it in the members section, and I was able to use the exact same username. So if you don't get PM's, I suggest trying changing your username, just add a star or something in front of it, see if that works.

It's not the username, it's the nickname on this forum. Pm gets sent through the nicks/screen name.
If you go with something extremely normal like "Ice" or "Shadow" without any symbols or spaces you might have the same nickname as another person using this.
The user that registered first out of the 2 that use the same nickname gets the pm.
I'd suggest what kyu said and change your "screen name" just a lil, and see if your friends will be able to send you anything. First then if you still don't get anything, and know for certain that you aren't using the same screen name as anyone else. Then yarr. We might got some odd bug lying around.

why dont the PMs get sent to the ppl by their forum username then?
like.. when you click on someone and send a PM, you actually send it to their account... or not?
every other forum uses this method.. FH forum is really weird if you ask me. first the really annoying and yet not fixed blacklistings, and now this.

Blacklisting is a completely different thing though and I'm well aware of that people like their screen names.
However, I think I brought the username thing some time ago, and it might would've been that it wasn't just an set "send to username" option. But I will be sure to ask raz what can be done about it and look around myself is there is any option to do this..

For now, I'll change my username slightly and see if that will fix it. :) But I would really like something to be done about this, whether it's a bug or not. ;_;

I don't know if anything can be done about it. All you have to do is switch some letters/symbols in your nickname and everything will be fine.
You could say "Well, just send the PMs to the actual username."
That wont work, because not everyone's username is the same as their nickname.
Maybe not all problems are like this, but at least try and switch your nickname. :\
