Ringo's Lovely Maps~
Hello, and welcome to my map thread. I have finally decided to not only go back to map making, but revamp this thread entirely to make it more visually appealing. The thread is a WIP, so please bare with me for the moment.

*NEW*Algid
Algid is a cold, simple terrain, perfect for snow leopards, arctic wolves, or simply for those who enjoy a chilly environment! There are a few small dens, along with one massive one. Fish populate some of the water, though their numbers have declined. Water freezes quickly. Will you survive in this harsh environment? Free to rp in, also free to claim for a group! Not reserved, however. If two groups want it, rp out a battle!

Anguis
This is a map I made a while ago, exclusively for my character Kioko's pack, Carpe Diem. However, there has always been a download available of just the map that I put on dA, but never here. This map has a very fresh, green feel and is one of the best maps I have ever made, I believe. Free to rp in, but no land claiming is permitted.

Bali Ha'i:

Bali Ha'i is a mysterious, wonderful island. It is truly a paradise for the roleplayer, with access to 24 different dens and two extra little maps inside. But always beware, not all of the natives are happy about visitors to their beautiful island...

Omaha's Realm

This was the first map I ever made. Omaha's Realm is the home of my first ever character, Omaha. However, he has not been spotted in this land for quite some time. It appears to be abandoned. Where could he have gone?

Attention: All who have downloaded, and all who WILL download, please read the instructions on how to fully install whichever maps you like for best results. They are a bit complicated, but if you read everything slowly and follow everything EXACTLY, then you should be okay. Shoot me a PM if there are any problems. Thanks!

Omaha instructions slightly changed, just a file name change. Not a huge issue, but this will prevent floating trees.

Ringo you should maybe add that you need to check the "has Collision" on the rock slab, or they won;t be able to get to the floating den.

Um... The Omaha has been deleted by Mediafire, and something in one of the other two maps has killed FeralHeartr for me, once again. It's a file identity issue, and it keeps asking about something already named veldtPetals. Please help the noob. <3 I really need to stop posting, then realizing that the problem was stupidly simple. >_< I have the cherry tree, the rockslab, and all that shiz, and I must have had the same petal file under a different name, stupid me. XD

Nope, I would've thought map maker exported custom water as well. Oh well, Omaha's Realm updated to include bloodwater. A download also included for those who downloaded the previous 1.06 version and don't feel like downloading everything again. Kioko's corner now available to download.

omaha's realm doesn't seem to work. I think there are files missing because the map server always crashes when I enter the map.

OH ALSO all progress on Bali Hai has to be halted, since my computer is being replaced and any work I start doing will all get lost. In the future, I'm also creating a re-vamp of Kioko's corner to be less.. nubby. I might to it to Omaha's one day, though I really like it the way it is now. I like Jirakee sooo lol that one's not gettin one.

Unfortunately, due to an error on my part, I had to COMPLETELY delete Bali Hai. I'll remake it, but this means it'll be a lot longer until it's released :C

But I can't figure out Omaha's Realm one. o.O I unzipped them all to FeralHeart>Exports and the bloodwater.material to FeralHeart>Materials and Bloodwater.png to FeralHeart>Terrains
And the portal wasn't there. o.O

That's odd ._. the portal should be there as longg as the .fhm is in the exports folder. Double check? If it doesn't work, try putting the .fhm in terrains

My first thought when I went into the map was "Oooh, yay! Swimming in red punch! x3" and "Jello on the ground! This place is awesome" But then I realized it wasn't punch...And that the red stuff coming out of the ground wasn't jello.....

You add a mesh ingame by going into object maker and typing in the meshname into the box in the mesh tab :)

So I was listening to all the music I had gotten from Feral Heart maps, and it occurred to me I didn't even know who made the Bali Hai map. So I came snooping around the forums, and found this. I don't remember who's group I joined, (I want to say it was Mewzic/iLoveLion's) where I had gotten this map from. And without prior history of the map and its mapmaker, I thought the music quite odd for a Feral Heart map.

Anyway, the point is, that music is from like, 1949 I think is what Wikipedia said. And I have to ask where you came up with the idea to make the island? It just seems really creative. I liked the map, and I will have to redownload at some point, now that I know the history, and maybe the lighthouses will make more sense now.

Gorgeous maps. Anguis is a definite favorite.

I would like to know, though, are there any groups besides Carpe Diem permitted to ask people to leave when they want to roleplay in Anguis? Because I was asked to leave earlier while exploring the map by two people. I politely left, but I wasn't entirely sure if they had permission to do this.

Oh alright, thanks for the clarification. So I'm going to assume the two wolves with the SW suffixes to their names were doing something they weren't quite allowed to. I'll be enjoying your maps a lot more then. c:

@Tilly: Yes, there is some lag in the maps, but only in spots. Some maps are laggier than the others.

Anguis
This is a map I made a while ago, exclusively for my character Kioko's pack, Carpe Diem. However, there has always been a download available of just the map that I put on dA, but never here. This map has a very fresh, green feel and is one of the best maps I have ever made, I believe. Free to rp in, but no land claiming is permitted.
