why cant i login to the game i changed my password and still cant login to the game. i dont know what else to do.
i can login to the forum just fine.
I havent changed my password before this problem started. all i did was install the latest FH update and now i cant login anymore.

What method did you use to change your password? Through your forum profile, through the user panel, or through "forgot your password"?

i used forgot password on the top right. dont remember exactly.

I dont see anything about changing my password on the user panel on the homepage. just username is the closest option.

Hold on a sec, actually I just realised you cannot change your password through there. I thought you could once, my mistake. I apologise for the false information! Maybe you can try resetting your password again through "Forgot Password" and make sure every detail is correct. If you can log into here (https://feral-heart.com/login/1/index.php) without issue, you should be able to get in-game just fine too.

I CAN login to the forum and the website thing just fine. but the game refuses no matter how many times i reset and change my password. please help.

i just reset and changed my password yet again and still no luck. game freezes for a split second then says incorrect password.

In that case I'm pretty clueless... usually waiting a minute after logging in it will connect you. But after changing your password is a different story as I've never changed my password and tried to log in right away. Maybe wait a n hour or so and see if the game catches on that you've changed your password? That's all I can think of at this time.

ive been waiting over a day! I tried yesterday and tried again today and it still didnt work. so i changed my password again today and it wouldn't work either. then posted on the forum about it.

I think it's time to try get in contact with an Admin then and see what they can do to help. There used to be an e-mail you could contact but I believe that system ended years ago. Perhaps they or a mod could relay it to Raz if they cannot do anything about it.

Did you use any weird symbols or the number pad to creature your new password? Is it over 16 characters long?

No I did not use any special characters at all and its not even over 10 characters long.
all I used was numbers. letters. and capital letters. thats it. nothing special from numpad. my keyboard doesnt even have a numpad.

Definitely not my internet no internet problems at all I can watch 4k 60FPS youtube videos with no buffering issues. I can upload videos quickly too. my download speed is amazing and my upload speed is great too and my ping is under 30ms on speedtest website
Other games work perfectly fine great connection no issues at all.
Something is definitely wrong with the game
and I know im typing my username correctly.
the game just stopped letting me login with the new update and every time it says incorrect password

I just tried changing my username and its still doing the same thing. incorrect password.
if I dont login to the website in the browser i get failed to connect. so its definitely trying to log in. but its just not working.
i even tried completely uninstalling and deleting the whole entire game folder to remove any leftovers then installing the latest version fresh. and its still not working.

Might want to contact an Admin as Buffy said! You'll most likely get your problem solved faster that way!

I apologise on behalf of them for the waiting game. I understand your frustration and I'm sure you'll get an answer eventually. But from what I know with all options tried out it's best to contact them at the end of the day to see what they can do about it. I hope it gets seen to soon so you can play again.

Are you positive that when you're changing your password it's successfully changing each time? I know there can be some issues with changing passwords, it may still be one of your originals.
Additionally, which staff member did you message?
NOTE: If you've been inactive and haven't logged into the game for 2+ years, it's possible your account was deactivated and won't work

Ive only been inactive for like a month recently. not even close to a year!
and yes its successfully changing the password because i use the new password to login to the forum and it works fine. but not in the game. i tried all my old passwords and even my old username and it doesnt work in any of them
Ive even tried changing my username and that didnt fix it either! and reinstalling the game didnt fix it either
the closest ive gotten is failed to connect to front server on one attempt. then incorrect username/password the next attempt. so its trying to log in but somethings wrong with the game or with my account :(
on user panel I still see all my characters.

yes. thats the first thing I do and check. and it doesnt matter.
ive tried it in different web browsers too. still doesnt work. i still cant login to the game. always incorrect username or password no matter what. theres definitely something wrong with the game itself or something cause it wont work! ive read a lot of other people have this problem too. but it seems i got the worst of it because it does it no matter what i try. i even tried running the game in a virtual windows 7 virtual machine using virtualbox and it still does the same thing!

I still cant log in. been trying every day for the last few weeks now :( it doesnt matter how many times i click the play button it never lets my get past the incorrect username or password. ive even tried making new accounts with no success

I just noticed if I leave the username and password fields blank and try to play
it still says incorrect username or password for one or two tries. then it logs me completely out of the "play game" feral-heart.com/login website and i have to log in again to even try again
something is really up with the game :(
in preset maker all alone. ignore the windows 98 theme its just windows 7 with classic theme for more performance and less lag

Have you considered upgrading to Windows 10? I know they seem unrelated but..at this point I can't help but to wonder.

The password reset works, so that shouldn't actually be an issue.
All you should need is to keep https://feral-heart.com/login/ open in the background..

I'm doing everything correctly the same way I have always been doing to log in to the game but it wont work! the game just refuses to let me log in and insists my username or password is incorrect there must be something wrong with the server the game or my account since the new update cause it worked perfectly every time on version 1.16.
and I dont trust windows 10 for a minute its got too many problems of its own that I dont feel like dealing with plus it hates my computer last time i tried using it it would crash on some of my old games and programs and refuse to let them run or they would just not work with windows saying they are blocked. and windows 10 ran really slow and laggy too.
and I dont have 100$+ for a windows 10 license key cause its not free anymore.
and ive made sure the login page is kept open and not minimized and thats not the problem. cause its not saying "failed to connect to front server" like if i dont have the login page open. its connected its just giving me incorrect username or password every time no matter what I do.
I even went so far as to change both my username and password to have NOTHING BUT LETTERS for username and password and no numbers capitals or anything and it STILL DIDNT WORK
i could login to fera-heart.com/login just fine and the forum just fine but i cant log in to the game. i tried using my old password. changing it back to my old password. the game still insists my password is incorrect. i dont have a weak internet connection. theres something wrong with the game thats changed with the recent update to it.

I know this seems to be a last resort, but it’s really the only solution I can provide.
Try clearing your cache in your browser or using a different internet browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc) to log into the log in page.
I would also suggest after that, to reinstall your game. Once reinstalling, try to log in and see if that works. If not, this issue may need to be escalated to Raz.
(If you have a spare account, try and see if you can log in with that as well! That way we know for sure that it’s just one account issue. I also know that sometimes when changing usernames, the system can get a tad screwy.)

I see, I suppose the admins or staff team will have to escalate the issue to Razmirz, as this seems like an issue having to do with the update since you have not had this issue before. I'm terribly sorry this is happening!

You said you tried changing your username and password after this started happening, correct? What happened and were you able to successfully change your username and password?
I would assume your forum profile would change your username and password as well. If it hasn't changed from the original, there may be an issue with the system not picking up on the change, as the system isn't exactly the most functional.
I just want to make sure that if you attempted to change your username and password, that it was successful in being changed. Because it might not have been, which is why you can still log into the forum just fine using old info, but not the game.
As for why it wasn't working before you changed everything, I'm not sure, but it seems to me the information sent to the system wasn't properly received after trying to change your username or password.

yes I was able to successfully change my username and password and login to the forum and login info with the new username and password.
but i changed it back to what it was cause it made no difference in the game itself. still cant login to the game.
theres no issues with changing my username and password and logging in to the forum and login page in browser with new username and password.
the incorrect username or password thing has happened BEFORE and after changing my username and password. so thats not the problem at all.
its because of this new recent update that the game got when this started happening.
