This happens to my friend too, so I have no idea whats goin on. When ever I go into "Pathway" (new map pack) it takes forever to go through, and then it says failed to connect front sever. Retry? (or something along those lines) So Im not sure if there's just too many people in the maps or whatever.... so yea. Please help if you can.

yep, I got the lip synce, new markings and the new mane texture. I forgot to mention this, but I have been into the maps before.

Sunds like everything is installed correctly but you're having connection issues. Try going on when there are less people online, and check your internet connection. I've had this problem with other maps and it's jsut an odd connection issue.

XD My sister Zarago is on the computer so she is making a test character to see if she can get into Pathway via Cape. I was going to suggest re-downloading, but as Ringo said, everything sound like you've done it properly.

Okay, Zarago just said to me that it DID say Failed to Connect, this isnt good...
EDIT: Zarago got off the Test map, and went onto her main char which is in one of the Pathway maps, Flying Islands I think, but she isnt having any troubles, seems like just the Pathway isnt working.

Oh flip.
The map's are working, but Pathway isn't, and now Zarago is stuck between EpicFalls and the Pathway, constantly getting "failed to connect to the server, retry".
Until this is fixed, Zarago is lost in freakin' time and space.

I think all maps are working apart from Pathway, but of course, you can't travel without a "home".

Have any of you tried when your within a map thats working pressing home instead of finding the portal into Pathway? That could help if your char is stuck.

Man, i have the same problem! I was going into Pathway all happy with my friends, then, while it was loading, the message "Fail to connect. Retry?" came up. i just clicked "Retry" because that usually fixes it, but now im stuck in the loading screen ans so are my friends! I had to make a new character just so i could play, avoiding the Pathways. Someone call Kovu! T^T

lol hey Stuey. Slycan made the map(s) right..? I know other people did too...... But whoever made the original "Pathways" map can maybe help....? Maybe it will reset itself...? So many questions, so little time! D: (P.S. my karma raised! :D)

ok, I tried entering Pathway (and by tried, I mean a accidently ran into a portal -_-) from the "Dune" map. It still doesnt work................. HURM. This is a problamo.

I lost my Cobra in it TT^TT And for the people who ask if you can just press the home button I don't think that's optional at this point since our charries are stuck between the map/place that our charries were/are and the Pathway(s). I thought at first it was my computer not being able to connect but then I noticed I could get on my other charries.... I hope Kovu or one of the other admins can help and fix this :)

I just read through this whole thing and I'm basically having the same problems >.< but two days ago every map was perfect besides the forest one frozen forest i think it was but i lost my character while trying to get in there. But today i was going to head into Pathway and i thought it was just a glitch thing so i tryed another character which is also now gone..xD

I have good news i guess, though im not sure if this is part of anyones problems but here it goes. i made a character yesterday and it was sitting in silent lakes, so thinking it would not work i tried it now it is still in there and everything is fine with that character. However the other ones (the ones that got lost in the loading of pathway and forest) still dont work.

ok, to everyone NEW to this thread: EVERY MAP WORKS; cept for pathways. Re-torrenting it will not work, and the server is not overloaded; only a couple 100 people got it. (I think) So....... all we can do is wait for KovuLKD or someone to fix it. :/

I have the same problem! I downloaded the file with the update and the map pack and yeah it doesn't load just asks, Failed to connect to sever. retry? or something but what is a lip sync?
EDIT: After a long time I was stuck I un-installed the WHOLE thing! Then re-downloaded it and it still does not work! This situation needs serious help! :'(

i had the exactly same problem when i downloaded the new maps, but the next day i saw on the forums that the moderators said they fixed it and tried it again and then it worked...and now everything starts again D:

i even had ver very big grafik bugs oll characters on ALL maps besides them from pathways cuz i cant get in there are black the only have a fur colour if i stay next to them the bonfire island had bugs on the whole place like shading and false grass grafiks...

This exact thing keeps happening with me with Watermill. I didn't download the new maps though.
I lost 2 main charries and had to clone them. I really hope it is fixed soon.

Yeah, my friend told me not to go into it, but I thought it might just be a problem with her, but just to be careful, I took a character I didn't really like anyways, and the same thing happened that everyone is talking about. Just glad that I didn't do it with the character I WAS going to use.

I am having the same problem :( Was I sopposed to put any pack map files in the export file? It works just fine for my friend for some starnge reason and my computer is a strong and new one... :/ Plus I had never got the chance to see the maps... I just got it and went in a POOF oh no x.x XD

I just looked through the fhmaps file in terrains noticing there was nothing that said Pathway in it... Should had there been? I am not a computer master (sadly DX) so I am not sure if there should be something like that in there...

EVERYONE. I was just able to get out of Pathways. Raz has reset the map server. Try and see if you all can get out. If you get a Bad Token, keep trying.
EDIT: However, don't try to go back in. Raz says it's not permanant or something and it can still mess up.

I'm having this same problem =( Two of my characters are stuck in Pathways now, although, both of their homes, Silent Lakes and The Sacreds didn't cause me any trouble. Anyone know how long this may take to fix?

This is happening to, also. It started am hour ago, and then it lost connection and when I tried getting back on, it kept saying 'Failed to Connect to map server. Retry?' It's annoying the heck out of me!!

this is really getting out of hand, first one of my characters gets stuck, (my main one) and now even my semi main and others are stuck in plains! I got 5 characters stuck now ;(

I don't know if it was just luck every time I did this but I think I found out how to not get those connection problems.
Ctrl + Alt + Delete > Task manager > Processes > Set Affinity >Right click on Feralheart.exe and uncheck one of the CPUs.
This is what I do for my old video games so my computer can handle them. So I tried it on this game and it worked. 0.o

I recently got this problem, when I was trying to go to the Pathways. It is a new problem for me, since I was able to go to the Pathways with that same character before. I hadn't been to the Pathways since around the time I first downloaded the maps(right when it came out), and I tried to go back today; and now one of the characters I used most is lost.
